Ok. Why are people complaining that they are fixing bugs? It's not indicative of the game being rushed. Modern software is so complex, there will always be bugs.

Remember, Egosoft couldn't have fixed any bugs on the retail version since last month when it went gold.

No, day zero patches aren't an uncommon in the development world. As softweir said, the technical forum is hardly overwhelmed...

It's Skeeter, it's what he does. ;)

I personally praise ES for getting a patch out so fast. None of the things on that list seem particularly game breaking bug fixes, and the addition of new material is a good thing.

Good work lads. :)

Cheeky. lol

It was a fair question considering the state of x3 r was in. Also 3 hours isn't really long to find a bug in a open world game.

About the patch was released so quick out of the door. Yes its nice but when it mentioned bug fixes i asked what i asked in response.

Would it be possible for someone to post the readme file here in the forums? It would be nice to see the unabridged list of changes without having to download the 40MB patch...

Hehehe! Cheeky it was! :D

I can see why you have reservations, but bare in mind this is the x3 engine, which has had almost 3 years worth of bug fixing. I appreciate that new content = new bugs... but lets have a bit of faith. :)

Just came home and what does my letterbox contain? See the tick... So I'm going to Egosofts website to register my game and now there is the first patch available already :o. That is so quick and could not have been timed better :).

I've enjoyed playing X3 Reunion for a long time, but flipping through the Terran Conflict manual now while installing I can already say, I will never need any other computer game, ever.

I want to thank Egosoft and everybody involved in making this epic X series.

BTW before someone asks: english version, egosoft shop, I live germany.

Perhaps he should try the game without the patch and see if it is as unplayable as he is stating.

Doesen't look like steam is updating yet. No biggy as long as it's available before the game is released (or same time). Thanks for the update. Btw...patching before a game is retail is kinda common these days. I personally don't have a problem with it.

I tried launching it, but it's just sitting there saying "Preparing to launch X3: Terran Conflict..."

I also noticed that the executable still doesn't have an icon, and the manual PDF has mysteriously disappeared.

Changelog seems to be mostly small fixes and a few additions, nothing looks game-breaking... do wonder what those invicisuits would be like.

Ramming speed! *goes 10m/s*
Aim for their carrier! *oh so slowly*
Boom!
*letter to family*
The sacrifice of your dear family member had great value. Was able to take out the uber lead flagship using the new experimental space suit. No physical harm occured, the unfortunate cause of death was a lack of oxygen for the trip duration.
