Just an update on what we have done:

1. pretty basic website that needs alot of work: http://www.xbtf.110mb.com/

2. Modelling coming along, but not in game: TELADI SHIPS

3. X Storyline facts coming together soon we can start putting our story line together.

Mod Informaton Update:

The X1's website has a new look, but not around for long due to some incompabilities with mozila firefox. But it has a new user friendly website address: www.x1tp.co.nr.

Job update:
We are in need of another story line (or/and mission writer) to join forces with Azanor and MarcusX3 as they are having a hard time of it.

Ever since I loaded this mod I can no longer find the command "scan asteroids" in the command console. has anyone else found the same or is it just me? Would not like to place the blame where it does not belong.

News Update:
  • New template added to website, hopefully to stay: www.x1tp.co.nr. A lot of content to be add yet. but have a look anyway.
  • Both =DC=Shadow and I have got a ship in game, Dc is better at it atm :P .
  • Anon Loyalist still producing good music (there is 2 sample tracks on the website, no names yet)
  • MarcusX3 is building a station (not telling you what it is :D )

News update (again):

I have/am set up a LITE vesion of the x1tp site for those of you which had trouble using it, either realy slow loading time (don't know why) or couldn't use the flash menus. Anyway heres the LITE vesion: www.x1tplite.co.nr

I am also thinking about adding a moddelling section to the site, like tutorials, tools and things so it will help people who have just started modelling by find things in one spot. so i would like some suggestions on what to add to it.

Its been 2 months since the last news update so here we go:

The X1:TP website is released to the public
[X1 mod site]

I'm here to show off my 3 month project, the x1 website.

The main website: www.x1tp.com, that i'm paying for is not to do with the mod so to avoid advertising the stuff i shouldn't i'm focusing on the x1 site: www.mod.x1tp.com.

People who have nothing to do with making website probably won't understand me much so it is better just to visit the site without reading this rubbish.
The site has been completly remade with a clean template, like the new xtended docklands template. On my previous attempts at the website I used the old html way, which looked pretty poor and was hard o add to, but now i'm using a CMS (Content management sytem). Which allows me to create a template once and all my pages use it. This allows people who don't understand websites to add to the content. At the moment both =DC=Shadow and MarcusX3 have registered and i have given them the option to write stuff for the website as easy as writing here.

Help Needed:

Station modeller

DC is doing a brilliant job at making the ships for the mod, however we would like to replace all the stations in x3 to the xtension style. So we would like some people to help create and put them into x3. Some experience in adding stations in x3 is required.

Our requirements:
Don't apply if you are not going to stick around.
You need to know how to create and input station into X3.
Must be able to spend a good amount of time on it a week so we do not have to wait to long, as we are want to release the mod, sometime....

Universe Editor

We felt that it is time our universe got put together, unfortunately we did have a universe editor a long time ago but we haven't seen him since. So we are in need of a new one.

Our requirements:

Well its been a long time since the last news update, also this thread seems to have just my own posts in :P .

Scripter Needed

I'm hoping to release the X1 Mini Mod before the 17th August, however one thing is stopping me. I need a start up script so that when you start the custom game you start in the right ship and have the right equipment.

So i need a scripter for this. I'm on holiday after the 17th that's why i want to release before then.

The mod is finished, however we are in need of beta testers before we release it so we can catch some (if any) bugs and problems.

So please pm me or just simple reply here if you want to help beta test the mod

i GOT X3:TC today, so i will be making version 0.1 for x3:TC aswell. It might not have as much testing though as not many people have Terran Conflict yet

As most of you have seen, the x1 the pirates mod has been released. I thought i better update this topics aswell.

But I have also added a x1 graphics improvement mod to the list, the X1 GIM improves the quality of the explosions, adds a new menu style and other various graphics improvements. This X1 GIM has not been beta tested as there isn't nothing really to go wroung.

hope you like it, all downloads in OP.

Any comments welcome (even the negative as that's one way we can improve it :P )

Please remember this mod is a demo, The full mod with have all the extras, including new ships for every race, the works.

It's very nice to get X1-ships in X3... that's pretty necessary for my feeling :) :thumb_up: .

Oh and... please make the Xenon-ships blue like they were in X-BtF , not red like they were in XT :) .

Well, I was just jumping over from the german forums when I first posted and didn't really notice that this was the english forum.

And then I should propably explain myself:
The X3-ships are certainly well made (though I couldn't really play it much yet) , but especially the design of the Argon fighters isn't really to my liking
[edit: OK, sorry, if I might have overdone my criticism - I had some technical problems so far and couldn't really play the game that much. I mainly thought of the many screenshots with the Argon M3 on it when I wrote this, because I really don't like that ship's design. The M4 and M5 might be better, I can't really judge this at the moment. And sorry that it took me so long to add this notice, I'm having some problems with my online PC currently, so I have to either post from the uni or from my family's PC when I'm there] ; while I really like the designs of the X1-ships
(especially the Paranid M3 :paranid: ).

(The Argon capital ships seem to be quite nice in X3 though, and the pics I've seen from the Terran fighters are absolutely stunning 8) :thumb_up: .)

So, I'd be pretty happy to play this mod when I get my X3-install working (I propably just do have too old graphics drivers right now... :cry: ).

After I've seen your Paranid Prometheus (M3) model, I'd like to add that I'd prefer having an hull-integrated cockpit, instead of one simply slapped on top; i.e. in front view more like this:

, where the [=] denotes the cockpit and the points are only to avoid the pic to lose its' shape due to not-displayed spaces.
