Understandable as there was quite a break between chapter sections around christmas and it's the first chapter which holds most of this detail.

There's a couple more twists to the story before long so shout if anything seems a bit vague...

An unexpected but perhaps not too surprising turn of events. I do wonder who voted for Tor tho, the Paranid would be my guess.

I'd say Tor made a good move re the Ghojo programe and it looks like some interesting times ahead, but what part will Tor be playing in them? I shall be looking forward to finding out.

I'm with Parrel on not liking Hollant, he obviously worked for awhile behind Tors back to get this vote through.

I think I might have parsially worked out what will happen here.

The natives to that sector might have worked out exactly who sent that message. If Sweety told them exactly who had sent it. That wasn't mentioned. Lets say for arguments sake that it was. They may only wish to deal with Tor and become quite agressive if they don't deal with him. Thus making tis power struggle look all the more stupid. That's a possible way I look at it at any rate.

I don't need any catching up to do, I've read every part of it thusfar. Tor did have a modified ship in which he killed that Xenon Destroyer(or was it Khaak? don't think so, but not 100% sure). Can't remember the type it was originaly? It is the Defiance right? as he let Sweety remove the cool stuff from all the other ships she modded.

Who owns the Roamer btw?

The Defiance is a copied version of the X-Shuttle, made from plans stolen by Nyeshta and then used by Tor and Sweety, i'm not sure at he moment if this ship actualy belongs to Tor tho!

The Roamer I would guess still belongs to the Argon Government.

Yes and No, Daz. Because Parrel has stated that he will remain neutral in the whole mess they are in, the Roamer does not belong to anybody but Parrel and crew. Though, being neutral is only correct until he chooses one side, which is most likely Tor's for as long as Tor does not do anything stupid

Hi Fear:

As Moss says the Defiance is a copy of the X-Shuttle (plans stolen from the Argon Government). The ship destroyed was a Khaak Destroyer.

The Mammoth belongs to a research organisation Advanced Industries Corp (AIC) that does a considerable amount of contract work for the Argon Government.

Parrel as an employee and ship commander holds the view that as the AIC still exists, allbeit in a different part of the universe the ship still belongs to them.

It's comming back to me now. I think that modified X-shuttle belongs to Nyeshta. But that she loaned it to Tor as he saved her life. She could have given it to him aswell though. It was originaly hers.

I take it Parrel's Corvette is a Centaur as the roamer is a Mammoth and Parrel is probably an Argon.

Excellent end to the chapter! Looks ;ike Tor did wake up at last. That grim determination may surprise a few people around him. But Parrel is right in being conscious about the direction Tor may move in. I am also curious to see if the Mohrabas had any connection to the Aliens that provided the tech for the Defiance and if, on what terms they were.

Very interesting developments and also good concise background on a bit of history of the Mohrabas.

Looking forward to the next chapter.
