The file you downloaded (X3_path.reg) allows you to manually
tell Scorp's map program where to find your X3 game directory.
(since it can't find this itself sometimes, for various X3 installation reasons)
The file simply contains the text :
1 Locate your X3 installation directory on you disc drive.
2 Edit the file with a text editor (eg notepad),
so that the INSTALL_DIR has the path to your X3 installation.
EDIT: don't forget to put double slashes in, as above.
3 Run the file (eg by double clicking on it in explorer),
this updates you Windows registry & when you run the map program
it should run OK.

The instructions here advertise the way to use the XTM Map within Scorp's map program. However, I don't know how to do that.

My instructions are in the Reame.doc and in the F1 window of the program. Please check them.Kilrathi Avenger wrote:The instructions here advertise the way to use the XTM Map within Scorp's map program. However, I don't know how to do that.ScorpBY wrote:For what purpose ? Your request has no sense.
