AL Plugin

Name : Bounty Enhancer

just run the pck file with cycrows installer :)


Features

Adds more credits for killing ships (all races all classes)

The smaller class ship you use the more you will get paid so for example you may get 10k for an m5 if your flying one yourself or one of your own m5 ships not piloted by yourself kills it.

In an M7 you would get around 1/4 of the amount.

Also if you kill xenon or khaak in their own sectors the bounty is multiplied. Killing ships in sectors that are set below friendly (Killing Argon ships in Nid space eg) will give you not only a notoriety boost for the nids but also a 10% bonus to the bounty.


Finally if you kill a ship in it's own race sector you will gain favour with the pirates and if you have killed over 5 ships (Arg,Bor,Nid,Spl,Tel) docking and waiting at a pirate base will bring a payout for all the 5 main race ships you have killed in their own sectors. Once paid the counter resets to 0 so you must kill 5+ again before you can claim any cash.



On starting you have 3 difficulty choices for payouts

If you want to see if you were rewarded in your pilots log click yes

To uninstall set the plugin via the AL Options menu to off and wait for the shutdown message before removing any scripts if you wish to change your difficulty or log settings just disable until you are hailed then re-enable the plugin and the choices will be available again.

Maybe you can make something that if your relation with a race is higher (and you kill a enemy in there sector) that you'll get more money. So the people that play longer (and have more money) will get more so it is still worth killing enemies.

Very nice.

Would it be possible for there to be an option controlling what size bounties get reported to your log? If I'm fighting a Khaak Cluster, I don't want to be spammed by 20 kill messages from the m5s.

I'm sorry, I'm afraid I might require a little more explanation :P The readme could use an example anyways ;)

So...exactly what happens when I kill a Xenon...M or L in Getsu Fune with an M3? How much is it? I can't seem to understand all that "you get this when you kill here and you get that when you kill there" :P Sorry 'bout that.

I like the idea og my patrols earning me money by keeping the galaxy safe from paranid scum and the like.

However, this one seems to interfere with Cycrows Assassin Guild and ironically his Bounty Hunter Guild also. I am not getting rewards from them anymore.
Also seems to stop rewards from Litcubes Khakk/Xenon Scripts.

Vanilla missions are not affected.
It is hard to soar like an eagle, when you are surrounded by Turkeys.

Reinhart:

Using a larger ship reduces the amount you get paid out for bounties.

If you kill racial enemies in that races sector, you get a slight bonus. For example, Split and Boron are hostile to eachother, so killing a Split fighter in a Boron sector would get you an increased bounty.

If you kill either Xenon or Khaak in their home sectors, you also get a slight bonus.

If you kill ships in their home sectors (for example, argon ships in argon sectors), the pirates are happy with you and will pay out a bounty to you when you dock at pirate bases.

TiggerBandit: I'm not surprised.. a lot of the scripts that deal with dead enemies seem to interfere with eachother. :|

over riding other scripts may be because when it connects to the ships signa. killed it neutralises any previous scripts that have done this.

to be honest i'm unsure of if this is the case or if it should just add another check on top of scripts already connected to sig.killed (which i hoped was the case)

Sorry Sandalpocalypse :oops: I didn't make myself clear when I asked "how much" - I meant percentage. I understood the concept where you get bonus if you kill someone that's the opposing race of the current sector, and all that. I was just curious about the percentage of all those scenarios.

Anyways, I'm using Cycrow's assassin guild script as well, so that might just interfere with this script after all; and that must be why the Leveling AI script isn't working as well, as it doesn't give me anymore extra payouts for the bounty as well, hence the reason I was interested in this script =/

Didn't know about this script being out there. Much needed as the vanilla rewards are pathetic
