Thats not original mind, thats from the Top Gun Mod, but yeah, I agree, I like the X2 engine effects more (I dont REALLY like the tails though).

I see, you should probably just mention that in the description.

Look cool though. I wonder if there's a smiliar one for X3... something that makes them shine like that and reduces the exhaust trail

Good idea Fiksal, its been changed.
As far as I know, in the Top Gun Mod all of the capital ships engines are displayed in the same way (differing colours, but the same shinyness).

Martin, upload the picture onto something like Imageshack or Photobucket (I use Imageshack), and then just copy and paste the url it gives you into this thread (with the format that Fiksal has provided).

Edit: cant seem to get it to show up as a screen in my post if any moderator can edit id like to thank them in advance.

when you have posted on imageshack, it gave you a bunch of codes and links,
among which were:

- direct link to the image (which what you have)
- thumbnail links (I think)
- codes for different boards

the easiest way to post the image with a thumbnail is to copy the code that says something like

[ url=http://...image ][ img=http://...thumb ][ /url ]

then change it to this

[ url=http://...image ][ img ] http://...thumb [ /img ] [ /url ]

and post it here, in the format provided

Yes, of course. Indeed I have installed a couple of scripts and a mod, but this event is not caused by one of these.
Is is the jump animation of a J shot while a Xenon Invasion. But if you do not know it and do not see such events often you think it is something else, is it?

Hmm, seen too many flashes like that. Yes, I think they are white, just like player ship jumps. Xenon spawning in Xenon sector, however, has red flash. Not knowing, all that light and beam of it reaching down ... typical unidentified flying object material.

- avoiding "friendly fire" could be your only problem there..
- ace pic, really excellent colour!

(- makes me want to re-install X2 - yet again..!! ):D
