can someone do me a favour,
I'm re-writing and updating as we speak and i could do with knowing if setting the plugin to disabled wipes the lot, it should do but before i start putting nukeall code in someone may save me a job.
I'd also like to know the size of AIC empires in peoples games and what settings (EPIC,PLAYER,EXPERIENCED) they are on and if you did choose EPIC what your net worth is......

I havn't posted any updates as AIC is about 50% broken and 50% working at the moment (on my PC) but i'm about 99% that the current install will have to be removed on the update as i've had to change alot of GV's meaning the current plugin will die once i launch the update.

is there an easy way how to find out the size of AIC empires?
I started the plugin after I got a bit ahead with a TL and a couple complexes, I think on EXPERIENCED.
After getting a message about several companies being set up, the only notice I've taken of the script running is a BBS message telling me the size of my own empire, and one named ship I am sure I didn't name.
Not knowing what was set up by it also makes it a bit hard to see if disabling it wipes anything

I would love to see this script take off into released status.

This script has been running for quite some time. I intially started the script on EPIC mode, and never noticed anything. I've been trying to remove and reinstall the script but it never prompts me to specify how to set up the AL competitors.
Any suggestions on how to "restart" this script in hopes of getting it to work? At the moment, I haven't seen anysign of it working other than telling me my net worth in the BBS.

Have you seen messages in your log that say "So-and-so Local Trading created in Some Sector"? And what difficulty setting did you choose? Remember, it's difficulty for the AI, not for you. It takes them a while to get big, much longer than it does for you the player, despite that they might start out more cash than a player start. Plus, they can get killed by pirates or xenon, which means a new corp has to start back at square one.

I've yet to see any ALC property. I have sats in 90% of the game sectors and I've swept through all the secotrs a few time looking. I do get the BBS posts about MY ASSETS, so it appears to be running in some capacity.
However:
Can someone tell me how to completely remove this plug-in and reinstall it so that it prompts me to specify the ALC starting conditiosn again? I've tried disabling the script, uninstalling, saving, and finally reinstalling + enabling. It never prompts me to select the ALC start conditions. I've never recieved messages about new companies starting up either.

indeed i am now i'm back from portugal, please set your plugins to disabled as the new version requires a restart mainly because it didn't work properly.
I have to tweak the traders ai a touch more and also the fighter code then hopefully i can release a beta towards the beggining of next week but it's now at about 95% as all my switches now work.

OK LV - you have my interest in your re-build of this plugin, but one question - how the hell to successfully disable this current version so it can be safely removed with a total screw-up of saved games??
From memory there is s'posed to be 2 'switches' in the AL menu, but on disapeared ages ago. My last attempt to turn the thing off, even after 2 GAME days it was running full force ...even added new competitors after I took the drastic action of removing ALL NPC ships across the entire X-Universe and manually wiping out every single station added by this plugin. Would love to give this new version a run but have no bloody idea how to get rid of the current version ...seems to have a life all of its own.

This is the kind info i need, i can write a nuke script no problem for the current build so i'll pm you one to test in the next couple of days althoguh i might send the new beta to see if that will squash it 
there is no point trying to write your own script to nuke things as i make a point of adding code to stop players doing this

For some reason one of the Traders has started a war with the argon,
these nice boron guys now are killing argon sectors with titans for no reason.
also MY notoriety is being lowered by every ship they take
so now i got the argon killing off all my stations and ships because the #%$^#@ boron AI are in war or something.
now my question, how do i uninstall it?
in the read me it says:
