I also get

You don't have permission to access /portal/modules/PDdownloads/visit.php on this server.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/1.3.33 Server at anarkis.jexiste.fr Port 80

But the bottom bit worries me the stuff about Port 80,

I know my isp and alot of other isp's these days block port 80 for there own customers protection, and you have to ring them and explain why you want it open, But then again my country also has the toughest internet laws in the world

either that or im complety wrong and its down

either way I would like thise script sounds awsome good stuff any eta on if its coming back up or should I just pm lethal ?

I think the site is just down but not certain. The author SK hasn't been around for a while. Probably busy with real life stuff.

I don't mind emailing the script to anyone and don't think SK would mind. So if anyone would like it just PM me with an email address.

I don't have the 1.40 version though, just the 1.36, which I think is the same apart from the newer version has a nicer graphical interface.

I think i've discovered a bug with the Carrier Commands, this was actually a very fun bug to find, and also rather amusing.

Ok, so i was moving into battle position aboard my Mammoth close to a small enemy fighter group, i launched all my ships from the Hanger (with which i have one special fighter that's for my own personal use, it's kitted out with all the good equipment etc.) and waited until they took up a strike formation, i then transported myself aboard my Astral Dragon (the aforementioned fighter) so i could help my ships engage the enemies, but as soon as i disabled the Auto Pilot, it instantly re-engaged, and it did this repeatedly and constantly, there was no way to permanently disable it.

So i'm trapped aboard my fighter which decides to set itself to Idle and head off into space on a heading that takes me away from the mammoth, the other fighters then attack and take out the enemy fighters and re-dock to the Mammoth, which then takes off through a jump gate, all on its own!

Has anyone ever seen that Stargate SG-1 episode where Teal'c and Jack get stuck aboard the prototype F-302 made up of two salvaged Death Gliders, which autonomously activated a recall system, sending them off into the solar system? it was Just like that, it was funny as hell.

i managed to wrestle with the craft over to the jump gate that the Mammoth entered using a combination of lateral thrusters and arrow keys for rotation. fortunately i had a docking computer installed and thus used it as soon as i got close enough to the Mammoth.

All in all, a very kool scenario which i did enjoy ;d it felt like the AI had reached a point of autonomy and decided it was going to ditch me and take off.

I realise however that the reason was probably due to the fact the home base was originally set to the Mammoth, and when i jumped in there the homebase was removed, so the previously issued orders couldn't be revoked/canceled from the carrier. i worked out that if you remove the home base before you transport into it, it fixes the problem. the only reason i don't remove the homebase prior to launching the fighters is because the M3 which i'm using (the Astral Dragon) is a custom ship from the DDRS mod, any one familiar with it will probably know the Wakizashi from the Merc Universe, the proportions are a bit too large so the engines sometimes get caught on the hangar bay doors, and that is never good. when the autopilot is set, though, the ships can pass directly through most geometry unhindered.

Wonder why the Mammoth took off like that?

Somebody in there trying to tell you to change your socks more often maybe? :D

lolz, it's because i use up all the coffee rations, i bet.

I think i accidentally enabled the Navigation Override Software a little bit beforehand, i do remember turning it off though, but maybe it didn't actually disable? That would account for its retreat.. although it is a Mammoth, and these were small fighters.. which had been destroyed. so I'm not entirely sure

I have a request for this script...i've been using it for along time now and my only problem is if i set an amount greater than all my ships can hold(but not the mammoth) They only make one run...Is there some way to make it so on Refuel Carrier command they keep going back until the amount is met?

I.E-Select ware Ore Set amount 5000 Each Falcon only holds about 300 ish cargo and 14 ships on an Elephant = 420 Ore and then they stop...could it be made so they keep docking and redeploying until the 5,000 is met in the cargo bay of the Elephant?

I am trying to store up repair and building material on my new bala Gi HQ and its expensive.
I currently have 5 Elephants spread out around the universe using the refuel carrier command and its hard timing when each one has all 14 ships back so i can redo it again...not to mention I could be doing other things rather than baby sitting 5 Elephants.

Hmm, you could save yourself some time and get the Bulk Transporter upgrade, but it all depends on how you want to immerse yourself in the game. Doing things like micro-managing the resupply of carriers and TLs can be more role-play:ish. Which is probably why you do it the old fashion way, right?

yeah I like having to take them to the spots but my fleet is so large now i cant keep track of what sector i send them to lol.

I need something where i can send them there then tell them to resupply a certain amount and they keep working until its done...the ore factory had 3000 ore and i wanted it all...the ships keep stopping after 1 run.(500 ish ore)

in order to manage my HQ i need reliable freighters and the little guys just get killed along the way which is why i use the big ones loaded with Falcons.
I will do a search for the bulk transporter and see what its like... if you have any other idea's let me know.

I realize that the author have been "away" for a while, so I am going to just ask the people using this. I don't know about this script, it's all very handy most of the time, except when I need it =/

I got into a big sector fight, one of those Mercenary missions, told all my ships docked to my carrier to clean the sector, they undock and gets docked right back again. So, I just issued a broadcast to all my wingmans to attack all enemies, and then they just get called back to the carrier again. I don't even have the automatic carrier command running, and I certainly don't have any other carrier scripts =/ Anyone experiencing this or have any ideas about this?

Edit: Removed it, never happened again.

Iv been using this for a couple carriers and no problems so far but i was wondering if this is just a genaric cammands for "big ships" or is it restricted to M1s and TLs. Soon im going to be downloading an M0 when it is released to use for my new flagship(The Monolith-Something suggestive of a large block of stone, as in immovability, massiveness, or uniformity-meaning it will be immovable in combat because its practically invicible and out of combat because its so damn big and slowAnyway i was wondering if the commands will also work for the M0 or if im sol in this case as i think id be out of my league trying to manage 5 carriers woth of fighters from it alone and thats not including its "miniature" M1's escorts.

Thx in advance
I bet you $25 that im greedier than you and ill prove it to you in 5 languages:
English: I love Money
Spanish: Amo el dinero
French: J'aime l'argent
German: Ich liebe Geld
Russian: Я люблю деньг
Now you owe me $25
