While I wont modify the XXL mod to be compatible with the crystal free script, it is possible for the player to modify the scripts themself to make it work. What you would need to do is go into each of the lib.*.Ash.Fabs.setup scripts (where * is A, B, P, S, and T) and comment out (by pressing the "." (period) key) the line that puts crystals into the SPPs in each script. The line in question will look like this:dukesatan wrote:Ah right, thanks Stevo, guess i wont use XXL's then, lol. Is anyone actually able to download this script? I get a 403 FORBIDDEN error each time I try, and I have been at it periodically for almost two weeks. If not, is there a working mirror or would anyone be kind enough to send it to me?Ah thank god its back!

Yes, it will work. So long as the SPP XXL has the proper resources set. I use it all the time in my game. I've got an older version of the XXL fabs scripts tho, so I have to manually go in and add/change the resources (crystals), then run the remove crystal script on it.
That said, I always use the SPP XXLs in complexes, and I don't know if the newest XXL libraries/setup will revert a stand-alone SPP XXL to require crystals or not (since I don't even have them to try). That may very well be. But in a complex, it'll work on them.
FWIW, I increased the fee to about 20M. Which is prolly still too cheap, but it makes it less of an "easy thing" imo.

it should cost 10 mill for the M SPP, 20mill for L SPP and 45mill for XL that would make it alot more fair to the people that dont use this script and Better for the people that do use the script cuase otherwise its much to easy to make jillion's of credits just selling Ecells

I assume you calculated in the cost of all the support factories, although for an XL I calculate about 20M cost for silicon, crystal, cattle, and meatsteaks. The important thing is that people enjoy playing the game. I don't particularly enjoy having to build some massive infrastructure just to produce energy, when half (not sure of the exact figure) of the energy is taken up to produce the energy. Seems silly to me that the AI in the game doesn't need to do this, and neither do we in real life.
