got a few people around here hooked up on your and Steve's stories. They don't play computer games, hence have no real relation to it, yet, they love both stories!

Hi Moss,

In this I've used the one solar cycle of the homeworld to mean one Mohrabas day. At this point in the story they haven't worked out how long that is in Tazura.

The ancient, knowing the nature of the problem with the gate and having a certain amount of control had been waiting for an opportune explorer to basically be in the right place to witness the phenomena.

Whether or not he chose to reveal his identity to Creed will remain unanswered... :roll:

That was really an excellent read! :D I enjoyed every minute of it!!

Just a few questions I hope we get answers to in the next book: -

What happened to Creed?
What part may Nyeshta have to play - she seemed to be building up to be a main character, then she buggered off!!
Will Tor get revenge on Feran?
What's Caran Belign up to?

The bit about Sweety being recognised as an individual reminds me of the film "Bicentennial Man" where Robin Williams played the robot with a personality.

Can't wait for the next book (although I haven't read the first one, so I need to find a way to get hold of that!)

Being a bit slow with the final draft. Just over half way through at the moment.

Reading on the screen definitely takes longer than a printed page. Well I think so anyway...

I agree, it usually takes me a lot longer, too. It must be the distraction factor coming into play. Well, I got myself a laptop today and there won't be anything else but woprk on it, that should help. Even more so as I now can sit outside in the sun :D
