I'd like to know if you would like a small message telling you of the jump in location/inv. sector of the ZzzZR and 1101 invasion forces when they jump ?? ..
(is easy to do .. but I rather do it before I release it .... :roll: )

about the 1101-plugin;
it will atm create a Xenon (Teladi) Condor and a complement of pers. fighters ..
than after x time it will make sure the Xenon Condor has enough fighters ..
if not it gets new ones ..
if it does have enough pers. fighters .. it gets a 2th smaller set of fighters ..
and will b send out to deliver this 2th set of fighters at a random sector ..
it will than stay in sector for a few minutes (to help 'kick-start' the invasion)
than it will dock its pers. fighters (or whats left of them) and jump back home .. waiting for the next 'cycle' ..
if the M1 is destroyed .. than it will take 2 'cycles' before it respawns ..
as long as an invasion force is 'invading' no 2th will be send out ..
but if the invasion leader can not find anything to kill it will fly to the next sector and try level that one .. untill its dead ......

(wich ever way it goes (regarding messages) .. expect a release this evening..)

i wud like the khaak and xenon invasion ones to just happen....unless i get property attacked or am in the sector i dont want to know about it....please please please. the only way i want to hear of the attacks or invasions is through the normal channels.

i mean what are the xenon or khaak gonna do??? send me a email :?

these scripts add life to the game in the form of tension. a silly message throws all the tension out the window and wud imo spoil it.....or even ruin it. :D

If the Xenon M1 has problems docking/undocking fighters then how do the XI missions work?

If the problem is only the fighters docking after they've done 'enough' damage then why not have the M1 enter the sector with slightly fewer fighters, launch them, wait a bit to help the invasion get underway, then jump out of the sector and leave the fighters. Then they fight to the death. Meanwhile more fighters spwan aboard the M1 (If they cant dock with it then I guess that's what you meant when you said they return to restock) ready for it's next strike..?

because in XI missions no ships dock

and the way you are askin is fake, red spot has done it properly in the hope that one day the teladi condor can be swapped for the j.

thats how i think it is anyway. its a good compromise. if and when the j can be used all that needs be done is swap the carrier used in the script.

to do it another way would require a differnt script but i dont see any point. the xenon stole a teladi carrier :wink: or assimalated one :lol:

id finish by saying `this script rocks`......but he hasnt released it yet, i just downloaded the pack and its not there.

i hope he`s not away cuz he`s writing that silly `message the player` script :wink:

ohh 1.4 and zzzzzzzzz and 10000011 ....tomorrow is a good day :D

naa some RL stuff had to be done ..

after that I found out about 1.4 and decided to call it a night ..

now I'm gonna go thru the the script in 1.4 and make sure evertything is still ok (see if maybe they fixed the J ...)

after that I will release the plugins ...

hi red

ok ran 1.4 for few days in its virgin state :P then i slipped it a length and added imps `pits (mo probs) and then went about adding your 4 plug-ins

ive hit a slight hurdle with the 1st 1 i tried which is mass drivers suppliers.

i enabled script ed, no prob, saved game, quit game
added your files to my script folder.
restarted game, saved game, quit game , loaded game

went into atificial life to check state of plug-in and instead of saying argon/boron it says...
readtext 8603-7 yes

i take it this is nothin to worry about??? but i thought you might wanna know...or tell me if i did summat wrong :oops:

ill assume its fine until i hear from you and try adding the other 3 plugins 1 at a time, thanks

ah i seem to have made a error, i used your older pack and forgot the `t` file :oops:

i seem to have mislaid the new pack, grabbin it now

woohhoo zzzzzz and 111001100 are bloody great, just what was missing from game.
i must admit ive gone from bored with nothing to do - to - completly overwhelmed in about 20 minutes :oops:

lost about 30 trade ships 2 M6 and half a dozen m3 (lost count of the m5`s) in the 1st half hour.....i now think it is time to spend some income on capital ships :lol:

its complete mayhem out there, and to make it worse i also added lv`s race response and escorts missions as well as cycrows guilds.

now basically what happened is the 1st new thing i was offered was a lv escort mission, so of course i took it. :D now then, this is to escort a bloody slow dolphin across 6 sectors (yawn) but to my surprise its actually quite fun with all the attacks :D in fact i must admit to even strugglin to keepin that alive :P .
now im about 3 sectors in to the escort when somwhere in the background your scripts kick in and all hell breaks lose in two sectors at the same time....khaak here and xenon there.....i didnt have a chance, im still stuck on a escort mission :o

hope i got time to buy and reassign 30 freighters back to there tasks or funds will be drying up rapidly :) before they decide to strike out again.

i hope deadly dont put rear turrets on the ships now....i cant cope :D :D

wait till you get both invasions in the same sector ... :twisted:

its just plain evil .. but its someting you really need to see 'once' ..... :roll:
(they kill each other .. than whoever lives goes on clearing the sector ...:))

wooha, that sound great.

i just cant cant belive i was stck on a escort mission as all hell broke loose.

guess i shoulda shoulda just left the ship i was escorting to its fate and saved my assets instead.....silly me :oops:

i saw a centaur sector patrol with 1 nova wingy intercepting the xenon invasion......stoopid m6, good job i saw it....i sent it to dock at a station for safety :oops:

the god engines sure gonna be busy now :twisted:

oh one other thing....i avent seen any mass driver suppliers??? by that i mean a ship called `mass driver supplier` should there be one?? or do i need to scan the ships to see if they have been fitted out with mass drivers to check its working??

you wont notice the MDS scouts ... they are just like any other scout ..
only with an other mission ....

I do have to add ...

I used to have a game without civ. ships .. and never tought about them ..
now with 1.4 I removed my own mod and checked the game ..
at that point I realised (at seeing the civ. ships) that I never included a check for those civ. ships .. as in not to equip them ..
so thats gone be changed soon .. :roll:

well you could....or you could just give the civilians a `attitude` script, so instead of begging for mercy they come back fighting :twisted:

ill scan some argon ships then and see if they now have mass driver goodness, been running for about 24-48 hours of play so i reckon theres a good chance they will be neicely equipped now.

dunno if its my imagination but the traders look like they are depleting again in 1.4.....not sure but there do seem to be less :cry:

edit....no ive witnessed new traders spawing at argon prime, lots of em :D

i think i found a tiny little weeny bug........the khaak attacked in herron nebula and i sent mt new carrier to sort em out.

5 mins later betty is tellin me im losing ships in argon prime, i look and i have another khaak invasion going on in there :o

i had a look and the ships in both sectors wee running the script RS.ZZZzzz but surly that shouldnt be able to happen :?

i forgot to take screenshots :oops:

i aint complainin actually it was quite fun but thought you wud like to know :D

i had already noticed i though they were invading quicker than every half hour (thats fine) but when i see two full 3 fighter and 20-30 scout invasions in 2 sectors at same time i know its wrong as the readme says different. :)

anyway these scripts are still the dogs bollocks and i think i wud like to see a bigger version one day. ie another script or two but that one runs much less often (say 2-4 hours) and it dumps a bunch of khaak or xenon capital ships (ie a very large invasion) that really would be the icing on the cake

im sure it happened again last night.....two large khaak wave in differnt sectors going on. ie one started before the other had hardly got underway.

tbh i like it... :D

ill take screenshots next time...showing the running scripts, soorry i forgot again...well it was a bit chaotic at the time :o betty was going crazy

and dont forget the xenon one that was also going on somwhere else :)

oooh and i gotta tell u, i bought a shiny new shark to send to intercept the xenon invasions. it wasnt maxed out but it had full sheilds 6 x 1gj
and the weapons were about 8 bpacs......2 beta ppc.....and 4 ahept and beta pbes on every other mount.

i jumped it into the xenon invaded sector and the condor was still there by the south gate.......i jumped in my shark riight next to it (100million at least) and it died in about 3 seconds :o :o with 10 barracuda, 10 mako, and 10 m5 on board (although they didnt launch as it was oos)

i dont normally reload but i did this time he he ....that thing is deadly :o

you could also do a pirate one, with the pirate mobile base similar to to your xenon one....jumps in dumps pirates (except let the pirates use mass drivers if they can :D ) yes i know im mad aint i :twisted:
you could call it PPPppPPPppp :wink:

oh and i scanned a load of police and military ships in split space.....woohoo they all have 2 mass drivers and ammo, is two the max number of mass drivers they get equipped with??? or do they get more as time goes on. :wink:

how sure are you that there are 2 wings ??..

isnt it the same wing .. that has just been following a target across (several) sector(s) ?? ..

as it is I've noticed ships move to an other sector ..
when they are told NOT to ..
anyway as I'm getting more and more annoyed with 'little' things in ES' scripts (for as far as my scripts use ES' scripts .. wich is basicly only the attack-script)
I'm going to make my own attack-script ..
now the one from ES is good .. its just messy coding imo ..
(and demanding coding .. as it uses extra 'tasks' to do in flight checks .. wich means 1 ship has 2 scripts running for 1 task ..... :?: )
so I'm basicly just gonna remove the need for an extra task and clean up the code a bit ...
(this will however be part of the DDRS-plugin .. so you'll have to wait for that to be finished .. than I will change my 'other' scripts (basicly just these plugins) to use the new attack-script)

afaik the only way you could get more than 1 ZzzZR invasion going on is;
-when you are in Kha'ak space
-when you save and load a game when it was 'creating' a new invasion ..
(wich I didnt 'forbid' as a simple anti-'reload after booboo' kinda playing-style ... the kha'ak are nasty little creatures ..:D)
(anyway I see the potential problem with the 2nd 'feature' ......
I'll see if I change after updating the DDRS-plugin .. as that is now prio. no.1 when it comes to X3)


about the MDS ..
yep .. no more than 2 MDs ...
I guess that more than enough .. dont forget they also keep their 'original' weapons ...
also dont wanna put to much stress on the special-weapon complexes ..;)



about attacking the 1101 M1 ..
as said before ... plan your strategie well if you want to take it out ..
specially OOS ...
as an M1 with fighters is by the numbers the strongest thing around ....
and the M1 WILL use its fighters ....


about using cap. ship in invasions (not talking about the 1101 M1)
I wont do that ... you have withnessed(?) the power of the 1101 M1 ..

you'd really like to see me make a script that jumps in multiple times the power you have just experianced ...
(it would kill your universe ... wait for it to respawn .. and kill it again ..:D)


about pirates being nasty buggers ..
wait for 'PAF' to be released ..... :twisted:

ok my new mission is to intercept and kill the condor :twisted: i hope your right or ill want cap ships to wipe out my universe :lol: remenber that its one thing having a a capship invasion when you have nothing to retaliate with....but x is a game where you just get more and more stuff forever........in 48 hours ive gone from no cap ships (didnt need em) to four cap ships. and i already made enuff to buy another 2 and kit em so thats six.....i reckon soon ill be wanting a battle a bit LARGER :twisted: :twisted: whats the point owning ships if you cant lose em :wink: (i realise a plugin at this level aint for everyone) but for those with large fleets twiddlin thumbs it would ba awesome. one for the future

as goes multiple khaak, pretty sure...but like i say ill try and get screenys next time.

lets say the home of light/argon prime one could have gone through a gate....but the 2nd time `no way` two ends of the universe :wink:

ill get some evedence if i see it again but im pretty sure....but i dont dislike it...its cool. tbh i think the half hourly attacks seem a bit regimental after a while....if anything it could do with randomising a bit so you never know when its coming.

but these scripts add so much they are minor points (very minor)

PAF oooooohhhhh i cant wait....is it done yet :wink: is it done yet.....is it done yet........is it nearly finished yet...... :lol:

aw man :cry: :cry: it was my first cap ship after all :cry: id just named her (SHARK FOOD) and put her on her maiden voyage (turns out she really was shark food) now i have a few i wouldnt do that again....i swear. :wink:

ps actually it was nearly 200 million with the fighters on board he he

heres a post i posted on another thread earlier
cheating to me is a `cheat ` script or somthing that auomates tasks like stopping a ut going where it want. the more ships i lose the happier i am. lost 1 tl, 2 m6`s, a dozen m3`s, counless m4/5`s and 20 odd trade ships in about 8 hours of play yeserday. it keeps me busy.
guess whose scripts are causing me this grief :P but im workin on my new defences....soon they will be a pathetic attempt to penetrate my `fortress universe` :D

but im sorry...when i managed to clear a previous xenon invasion (after the condor left) in my mamba vanguard with 3 discoverer wingmen (0 wingmen at the end) i wasnt expecting my shiny new 1st ever carrier to die in 3 seconds alone especially when id just spent 3 hours equipping it, getting 30 ships to man it etc etc..

mind you i was expecting my carriers ships to launch (i hombased every one) now if they had and i lost....maybe i could have lived with it :wink: but losing a carrier with 30 ships still on board wasnt fair so a reload in this situation i think should be overlooked.

in the meantime i need to go back to the drawing board and work out how to launch em automatically (can they) without me doing it with a command from oos.

do you forgive me :oops: it wont happen again, scouts honour. :P

and yes i know what you mean...people these days have forgotten how to `play` games. i played elite on the beeb and there was no saving between stations in them days (and i play all games *doom excepted* on hardest settings) im a god i am

but OOS I'd like to know what you send in .. and what got out after (if they where succesfull)

in sector just play it fair (no hiding in docking-bays etc)


and than see if you'd like me to make 'bigger' invasions ...:D
(as it is you dont where they appear .. so for you to be 'ready' for it in every sector you have assets you will have to own a serious armada ..
making it bigger means making it almost impossible to be 'ready' for it ..
heck .. it will make it so that you keep on lozing 100s of mill. ...
and I guess it would quickly become 'non-fun' ......)
