Please use server 2 only if the others don't work.
Server 1 should have enough bandwith to cope with these numerous requests...

PLEASE keep large downloads AWAY from the forum server. My computer is seriously screwed up, and one of my posts has been duplicated because of refresh problems.

I started to download it from server 2... but at 800 bytes per second, I didn't think trying another would hurt... and indeed, the mirror site gave me a nice 8-4 kb per second... big file downloaded in 1 hour and 19 minutes... looks good. They might want to put more effort in explosion graphics though.

heh i downloaded the high quality DIVX video in 2 minutes

from server 4

and yes the explosion effects could use some work although the explosion wave that can be seen is an nice effect.....

also like the effect when BIG ships explode---> shatter into pieces

The Big ships exploding was a bit,,, well to be honest Freespace 1 done it better and that is a ancient game, not slaggin the demo cos most of it was awesome but the ships coming apart was just a bit,,how do I put it,, looked taky,

been trying to put me finger on it, I think its the size the chunks that break off are a bit big and they don't seem to be damaged just seperated,,, make sence ?

Now if those chunks of wreckage remain and don't do the mystic shimmer out of existence that really could be cool (make your own asteroid field

from other peoples wreckage)

The download was so slow last night it timed out on me.

Downloaded it from server 4 tonight (Sat) in 6 mins.

Server 1 was down lastnight thats why everyone was on server 2.
