Sorry to hear about this, your site has been invaluable to me all through the X-BFT and X-Tension.

Just heard, real shame, the web site was absolutely fantastic, used to go there dally when I first got X2, especially liked the ship models sections...

I have been speaking to CJ and he has agreed that I can also host his great work to preserve the hard effort he put into creating it.

I thought it was necessary to preserve this site as it was very important to a lot of us who started in the early versions of the game and was too important to let it go. I do this not for me, so this site is not on www.x3ou.com that is why I have given it it’s own domain, until hopefully the original domain can also be transferred.

The current domain for it is http://www.x2thethreat.net

There are about 2300+ pictures so some of them will not show until the uploads are complete over the next couple of days, I will also be making some final edits to settle it down in it’s new rest home, so bare with me while these tweaks are made.

i would just like to say my utmost thanks to Commander Jamieson for his website. it certainly helped me through most of my x2 worries. shame to here you have befallen of ill health and i am sure i speak for all when i say get well soon! with a name like Commander Jamieson one instantly knows you were there from the start! thanks for all the help your website has provided, twas most invaluable.

I just wanted to add my best wishes for your speedy return to good health - need to solve a problem search for the Commander and there the answer would be found.

I haven't been around very much. Got other things going on in my life. I'm sorry to hear about your illness. I hope it all works out for you and things get better. Your web site is the best and it's a shame that it can't be maintained. It will be sorely missed, I assure you.

Rather than point out the obvious, why not PM a moderator if a thread could use a moderator's presence?

Anyway, simply because it's this thread I'll let it slide. The Commander's Space Station is/was an institution.
