The only thing I regret is buying it full price from "Game". Should've ordered it online and got it cheaper, problem was I wasn't 100% sure I was going to get it, then on release day I couldn't resist it.

Don't regret buying it at all. Runs reasonably well on my system too.

I wouldn't buy it as it is now, seems more like a bugge beta version or RC1. But else when all this bugs have been solved I would buy it.

Runs sweet on my XP2500, 1GB, 9600XT rig, has done from the very first patch. One or two annoying little bugs as of late, but it doesn't make X3 unplayable.

So yes, I would have bought the game!

Absolutely. Not perfect by a long way but still very enjoyable. Just wish I had more time to play it

I doubt I would have bought it so soon if I had known about all the major problems + missing content.

But if they correct all the problems, add missing content and sort the economy in future patches then i will look back in around 2010 and say

yes it was worth it

As someone who paid full price with hindsight I'd not have bought it until it came down to budget level. It's no-where near the level of dissapointment that MOI3 was (I still like Master of Orion 2 and play it occasionally) though.

Had the game a week, so i missed averything before 1.2, gotta say im enjoying it, would be nice to have a cockpit, and a few other things but after living X2, and seeing the dedication of the devs i have full faith all these bugs will be sorted.

I love X games so much i would have done the beta anyways.

Of course. Bought the english version and later the german. The bugs will fixed (most of them) as always in the X series.

It works fine on my system.

initially I would of said no... as I could only barely run it, luckly after about a week of having it I finally got a waranty replacement of the 9800XT i used to have, but it was an upgrade to the x800pro vivo (which i have since softmoded and oced)

But with the plot bugs I still think I would of waited till 1.3 (or further) as I had the same problem with x2 (but not x or x-extension if memory servers) and didn't expect another slighly bug ridden game, BUT BUT I did not know the circumstances x3 was produced under and I think Egosoft have done very well!

So overall ,

YES I would buy it again!

I probably would have waited till after xmas, 1. sales and 2. patches, but I'm not kicking myself that I bought it, only that I bought it for £24.99 from Play.com when a few days later it was £17.99

Nope i wouldnt, I was so hopefull of this game and all the potential and its just x2.

(this is personal opinion so no point flaming/arguing with me)

I am a fan of x2 but not impressed by x3. I wish i waited for a few months until several patches had updated the content and fixed the bugs.

Playing the game with bugs and the loss of content has stopped some enjoyment.

Like many i was excited by the hype and build up and sadly it didnt deliver. As of yet anyway.

Absolutely yes. I have not been this riveted to my computer since IL2 sturmovik came out.

This is my first X game, there was no hype for me, I had not heard about his series of games until two weeks ago.

I'd buy it for sure.

What I probably wouldnt do though is upgrade my P4 2.8/intel mb to a AMD64 4000+/MSI mb as that strategy has now left me with a dead machine after numerous problems getting it to recognise my Soundcard after a win2k O/S repair followed by one problem after the other. Bloody computers!!!

So, not currently playing X3, but hoping to get back into it soon(ish)
