Advanced Jumpdrive

The advanced jumpdrive adds 2 things into the game.

1. The Advanced Jumpdrive and its exenstions, allows for energy free jumps
2. Advanced Jump Menu. More options for jumping, works with standard jump drive as well.

    NOTE: Advanced Jumpdrive Kit and Solar Energy Generator only available when installing via Plugin Manager.

    To Install, download and install via the plugin manager
:arrow: Advance Jump Menu
  • The Jump menu gives you more options when jumping, works with both the Advanced Jumpdrive, and the Standard Jumpdrive, so you get all your jump controls in a single menu.

    The menu can be opened by both the ships command console, and via a hotkey for easy access.

    The menu includes lots of jump options, including:
    • Jump To Sector (Advanced Jumpdrive jumps to sector center, standard will jump to a gate in the sector
    • Jump To Gateless Sector (Lists all available gateless sectors in a seperate list)
    • Jump To Me (Jumps to the players ship)
    • Jump To Gate
    • Jump to Station (Jump and dock at station)
    • Jump to Postion (Jumps and flys to a sector position)
    • Jump to Beacon (If you have any jump beacons, you can get a list to jump too, works with standard jumpdrive to Terran sectors
    • FTL Sector Jump (Jumps to a position in the sector)
    The menu also offers several shortcuts, like you last jump, so you can jump another ship to the same place, as well as the nearest shipyard and equipment dock

:arrow: Advanced Jumpdrive
  • The main device, offers Energy free jumps to anywhere in the universe, including terran sectors.
:arrow: Jumpdrive Energy Generator
  • This is a cheap version, uses with the normal jumpdrive to give energy free jumps for the standard jumpdrive.
    Uses your shield and laser energy for the jump, the full Advanced Jumpdrive doesn't.
:arrow: FTL Jumpdrive Extension
  • This exepensive add on requires the Advanced Jumpdrive, and gives an in sector FTL jump to jump anywhere in sector. It connects to the existing jump commands so it'll be used to jump closer to a given target.
:arrow: Advanced Jumpdrive Accelerator
  • This addon for the Advanced Jumpdrive accelerates the jump procedure so it will no longer have to charge for 10 secons.
:arrow: Advanced Jumpdrive Kit
  • This equipment pack allows you to install an advanced jumpdrive onto your ships, unlike the equipment, you can carry multiple of these. The kit includes the Advanced Jumpdrive, Accelerator and Nav MK1
:arrow: Solar Energy Generator
  • This equipment will generate energy cells over time for use with the Jumpdrive or Turbo Booster. This requires crystals in the cargo bay to create the cells. The efficency is based on the sun level in the ships current sector, and will product upto the energy resupply amount (if set).
:arrow: Auto Jump
  • This command is available in your ships additional command slots. While its running, it'll monitor your ships destination, and use the advanced jumpdrive to jump there. Command is only available if you have the Advanced Jumpdrive installed, and must be set for any ships you wish to use it on

Sometimes when I set my ship with advanced jumpdrive to fly to station in sector without gates (only transorbital accelerators) it jumps to the closest sector with gates and then flies to the next sector and then jumps again back and it repeats itself. For example I tell my ship to jump to PTNI headquarters beta, it jumps to PTNI epsilon (south gates), then flies to east gates, when it crosses east gates it jumps back to PTNI epsilon south gates and then it is stuck in a cycle. Same works for autotrader with advanced jumpdrive and set autojump

Another thing, I tried using regular jumpdrive with jumpdrive energy generator and apparently that thing also does not work, my ships still consume energy cells to fly

To update my previous message. When I ask ship to jump to station xenon hub, it also behaves weirdly, it jumps to the sector and instead of docking hub it goes to different gates, jumps to different sector, goes to another gates, goes through them and then jumps back to xenon hub and repeats whole process. Other commands work well, it is just jumping to station is weird

Are you using the unofficial patch?
there are some improvements to the path planning in there that the advanced jumpdrive makes use of, which might be causing issue if not installed.

i have however made some improvements, these will be in the Guilds mod first, then i will move the changes to the this mod eventually

Yes, I was using unofficial patch and a bunch of your mods, unfortunately after plugin manager update all my modes got deleted, so I cannot check again. I will just install you guilds mode, thank you!
