this seems to be worth the download time i think i havent played x3 for a few weeks now but i have a new reason to play again good work egosoft im looking forward to pimping my ship and testing the new gun in of course the new ship :lol:

Has STEAM given out any ETA for when servers should have the update? I just went in and not receiving anything nor any notice on STEAM news.

can u simply tell me were you found the mission and fron where you took it (station sector)? :)

You'd need to check with Steam about that - Egosoft have no control, and assumably the first place you'd hear about the Steam update would be the Steam website.

Before I download this just a few quick questions:-

Does it matter if you install the bonus pack before or after you update to 2.0?

Do you have to be friendly towards the borons to do the bala gi missions?

Its best to install the updated bonus pack, beofre 2.0

Yes, you have to be friendly with the Boron, since they are the one's giving it to you :wink:

I feared that, Ive been working on my relations with the boron but am still at Queen's Nemesis, oh well looks like ive got alot of work to do as i dont fancy a restart.

I saw the recommendation on the home page to use the STEAM load for STEAM versions, so that leaves me at the mercy of "no control over" ETA.

Was the recommendation based on known issues with mixing versions?

Only been frozen there 20times for over an hour now.
The first time I loaded up X3 it was fine after installing 2.0, then I had to go out for an appointment, shutdown comp.
Come home, boot X3, no good.
"The feature your trying to use is on a cd-rom/disk that is not available"
Yet I have the cd in the drive, regardless, it's now supposed to be No CD.
AMD FX 8core 8150 4.5ghz(overclocked)4x8gb ram, ATI Crossfire Radeon 7850HD x2. Sabertooth 990fx mobo
