v0.01 is up on Steam, and Nexus

Do not charge for trades between player ships and stations, and vica versa.

Are your Solar arrays and Foodstuffs gaining credits and everything else loosing them ? Having to constantly shunt funds about ? Why not try this mod to fix that

Things that you should be aware of
If you allow your stations to trade with other factions then your station manager balance should increase.
A player to non player trade may trigger a transfer to the players account if the manager account has a higher than recommended balance. This will actually reduce the manager balance (as it transfers excess money to the player) and is working as Egosoft designed.

Installation and Compatibility with other mods
To install it extract and copy the "free_player_to_player_trades" folder to the "Steam\steamapps\common\X Rebirth\extensions" folder (create the extensions folder if you don't have it already) and restart the game.

This mod patches Egosoft's trade.performtraderun.xml

If you decide not to use this mod any more disable it or just remove the "free_player_to_player_trades" folder and restart the game.

Does not affect save games

Just install the mod, there is no user interface

Diagnosing issues

These instructions are for Windows 7 64 bit, please adjust for other versions

To enable full debuging of trade transactions install the optional trade_performtraderun_debug mini mod from Nexus

Start X Rebirth in debug logging mode by adding "-debug all -logfile debug.log" to the end of the command line

In my case this would look like

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X Rebirth\XRebirth.exe" -debug all -logfile debug.log

That will create a debug.log file at the same level as your save game folder
