No targeting functionality and pretty few fixes overall makes me wonder if they are aiming for yet another beta release before the holidays..?

Maybe, but I will not hold my breath :)

From the looks of things they plan to get v1.21 released by Christmas.

but this is an early beta patch, as they have usually been Fridays. Maybe it's get the quick fixes out of the way, then work on targeting to be released before xmas and beta test of the xmas period, with then a final release. Who knows, maybe they will update of the planned releases over the next couple of weeks - I do expect them to take a few days off for the holidays.

I too suspect this as being an early release containing a few fixes they were happy with. I would expect there to be possibly a v1.21 RC4/5 later in the week, each with additional items.

You got a problem with your keyboard it seams. The keys for "?" "." "*" are somehow damaged.

Why are we farting around with targeting hotkeys? Trading is a nightmare due to the gazillion bugs infesting that. Fix. That. First.

Cruising through OL and seeing a vertical stack of energy freighters over the SSPs doing nothing while the rest of the system is literally starving for energy is your clue something is seriously borked. This vertical stack isn't little...it's over 20km in height.

I thought patch 1.21 was supposed to fix performance, I vaguely recall they announced that it would be done using some risky approach and that's why it would take a bit longer to develop.

I really reallllly hope they get the performance bit fixed in 1.21 RC4. I'm still playing the game on *the* lowest of the lowest settings. :(
Also Anisotropic Filtering option is still greyed out and the game detects the Intel HD Graphics 4000 only even though it's running on the Nvidia.

Kinda thinking the debugging process is turning into a game of proverbial whack-a-code-error where you fix one problem and then a dozen more show up in its place due to issues with the base code. I am not a programmer so I'm just enjoying some wild conjecture here.

I like the look of a refuel command. That is a nice convenience.

Keep the patches coming.

Appreciate my as* !

They should've released already patches with working trade-mechanic/targeting system/fixed AI.

Egosoft, you are pathetic. You're steal people money and you saying proudly "we can give you a patch every week". Yeah, but with every patch it's getting worst and worst.

This is a big joke!

I think they have no idea what they are doing. At least 2 of the "fixes" from 1.2 don't work for me:

• Fixed missing build notifications from architects in other sectors.
• Fixed menus showing out of date info about build progress.

And it gets worse: building seem to stop randomly when I'm not in the same zone as the building station. Plus I have to go to the relevant zone to get the building finished message...

So I'm not too excited about any patches anymore. This whole rushed patchwork thing seems a bit hopeless right now.

By the way, do any of those 2 work correctly for anyone after 1.2?

Why are you still here if it is so bad? To trollolol? Just to be a jerk? If so bravo.

I haven't been able to play more than a few hours with FPS above 30 and that was only with 1.20. Stations still run sub 10 FPS and in any system with nebula I might as well play the game in screen shots. But whining an complaining isn't going to make things better. Well maybe make you feel better.. which is ok too. But really they are doing the best they can with a mistake. There are plenty of other games to play oh and this thing called Christmas and New Years coming up that should occupy some time and yes even for them. I am sure some of them will work right through it so yes Appreciate is a good word to use. While none of us will appreciate your behind like you demand.

Agreed. All patches have brought a lot of good things so far. We all know game should have been on better shape when it came out. But it wasn't. No use to argue and cry over it anymore. Let's just focus on upcoming and how to make the game better.

Even performance in game fps wise might not be that great, it's not that bad either. What I've noticed , is that most people who call for performance upgrades for each patch, are those who are running very outdated gaming rigs in general. Yes, that AMD will never give you top level INTEL performance, neither will Laptop ever give you same performance as similiar desktop computer.

Keep the patches coming Egosoft :)

Well won't start a fight here, but I happed to own top end pc, and performance is least of problems I got. And I never said game doesn't have any performance problems, just that it's not that terrible. Peace :)
