Game is far far too easy ?

Game is far far too easy ?
Even without missiles and novabrone all ships are far too easy to kill, and also to capture, i end up with a giant fleet of stuffs i could not even sell due to shipyards full.
I tried to add hull shiled, mod to add extra shields on modules, decrease player weapon... still too easy.
I will try to add 1000% on shield cap and *10 on recharge speed later but i wonder how players without any mod feel the dificulty by now (without bugs subject, just difficulty) ?

No. We need a far more aggresive response to hostile player actions from npc factions. Npc cap ships needs more drones to cover their blind spots. I can board as many cap ships as I want without any challenges at all.Trillsiker wrote:It just need some balance with the weapons stats

Don't think they ever had the boarding right... Though now it is even more ridiculous, as you can board a ship with a half billion worth in wares...

I believe the current system would be quite good if the cap ships could defend themselfs better. Freighters should have more fighter drones in them and they could be able to contact local support and, perhaps, a response fleet (that would take some time to arrive depending on where it is located).dzhedzho wrote:Don't think they ever had the boarding right... I agree. And on the other hand a Q or I was a nightmare to board. One had to load/reload tons of times. (And how can you board a spaceship which has no living things on it and just a machine? It was at least as funny when in XR Yisha requests landing permission from the Xenon station. But that's beside the point.)
Anyway, Egosoft always had problems with balancing (anyone remembers the build missions from vanilla TC? where the reward was 10+ million for even the cheapest stations and having very low trade rank). I guess it's good they never tried to make a multiplayer/MMO game. In a single player game balancing only becomes an issue when everything is just too easy so people get bored of the game too fast or everything is damn hard and not fun anymore.

Force field projectors go down too easily, as some say I agree lots of drones for AI capital ships, 3 or 4 times stronger force field projectors, turrets hurting a tad more and main zone rapid response military police...
And after all this the only thing left would be to hire someone who can make AI small ships do proper dogfighting.

Get a pile of shield regenerating drones, and rebind your boost to an easier button. Shift is decent for keyboards, while controller boost is better on the left shoulder button (swapping with reverse).Am i so bad? i get killed every time on that boording mission :/
