Mission: Alliance Battle (no plot markers) - Solved

Finished my drone station. I've got no mission guidance but went to the gate, saw the cut scene play out about attacking Plutarch. Still have no mission guidance, what's the deal, destroy the Plutarch station? destroy everything?

I have the same issue, there no is objectives in my list can you tell me which zone you had to get in for the fight?
I think it was the zone with the gate from DeVries to Albion.

It wont do much good though as the objectives will never come back even after that mission :(
Are you guys talking about the second URV forge construction mission? I forget the exact name but it's something like "extend: URV Integration with URV Wharf".

You extend/expand the existing station by visiting the Architect on the Construction ship that built it, the ship isn't visible in property but it does still exist. You can still locate it on the sector map, fly to it and dock, then talk to the Architect. The option you want is stage 1 for URV Wharf, about halfway down the build choice page (option 1).

Anyway, once i built the station expansion, I got the plot dialogue I think you guys are talking about, where the Albion leader guy tells you there's going to be a big battle at the jump gate and your forces will be split into two groups, with you leading one and him leading the other. After that dialog Yisha tells you she's receiving coordinates, but I never got a plot objective for it.

The good news is you can re-establish the plot objectives quite quickly.

Initially I thought i had to start production at the URV station to get the waypoint but that didn't make any difference (it actually seems bugged, the product name is a developer macro name?!). What you need to do after completing the station expansion (URV Wharf) is...

1. Fly to the jump gate between Devries and Albion, which is in Devries - Bleak Pebble - Twilight Sentinel. As soon as you hit that zone, a cutscene will play then you'll be flying in a "wing" of ships that follow you, toward some plutarch by the gate. I just skirted around the Plutarch cap ships and fought a few attack drones. Once I could see the friendly cap ships nearby, I just flew over by them and let them handle the remaining drones. At this point you should get some more plot dialog from the Albion leader saying he's going to jump about and Yisha will QQ a bit. Then you're left wondering what to do again, with no active plot objective still.

2. Just fly through the jump gate to Albion and you'll get a cutscene video immediately. Once it's finished you'll get some more plot dialog about what a f*ckup the attack was, but still no objective. Fly back through the gate, all the way to Devries - Glaring Truth - Fervid Corona.

3. Once you reach Fervid Corona you'll get some more plot dialog about how some of the Canteran ships jumped to a different jump beacon somewhere. Well there's only two jump gates in this sector, and we just left the Albion gate, so it must the only other jump gate in the Devries sector!

4. Fly to Devries - Molten Archon - Vapour Stream, which is the sector with the other gate it in. Once you arrive there you'll find a welcoming party. Just stop the ship, listen to their plot dialog, and they'll jump you through the gate automatically. On the other side of the gate just stay still and you'll get some more plot dialog, followed by a video cutscene, followed by more plot dialog, followed by...

A new plot objective!

I haven't played much past that point, but it seems ok for a little while at least. Man this game is something else, and I don't mean that in a good way. Just so many bugs to work around in this plotline.

Im ok all the way up to coming back to fervid corona, then no plot update.
Ive been to Vapour stream, but nothing, just an inactive gate and no ships about.

Seems to be fixed:
I flew back to Fervid Corona to see if that would trigger anything... nothing. Then decided to go back to Crimson Rocks, that seemed to do it, cutscene and I'm about to do battle with Plutarch again...

I just wanna get to Omicron Lyrae, Ive heard it looks great :)

It is nice but mission path is gone again :( Don't know where to go and look for J. corporation CEO :evil: :evil: :evil: :headbang:

Edit: And game crashed too :lol:
It's not world hunger because we can't feed poor,it's because there will never be enough to feed the rich .....

Still nothing working. Everything is marked as done for the station. I wait for bug fix and starta freegame

CEO mission got continued after you buy engines from mechanics for you manager suggested (and manager got say you again that you should not leave without them).

YES I KNOW HE SELLS OUTDATED ENGINES(I have better that he had in his invertory) BUT YOU SHOULD BUY THEM
after THAT BUY BACK AGAIN YOUR OLD ENGINES if they was better.


the whole mission after building station is FULL CRAP
I DID IT WITHOUT FIRING SINGLE SHOT (I have neutral plutarh, but I don't think that is important)
but fly path to do it just crazy, you had got all conversation answering why you should go to sector(actually it is direct speaking order, but not in interface) with other gate.

if you going wrong place (or right place too early before dialog) your game would be crushed.


the mission with building station is definitely never tested,
because if you assign manager he/she got your building ship and use for trade, and that can't be canceled (only by removing engineer, and killing engines), if that ship is flying over sector, you traders can't deliver wares (they should dock to construction ship) to continue extending station.
I did assign manager because while extend button was avaible, after I press it appears nothing i.e. order was aborted (but it worked for 1 time),
and after manager assigned one time extend is worked, I happy to chose correct one
(you actually don't need for continue plot more than 1/first stage from EACH type of factory (
you could build 6 factories(2 each type), 3 targond, 2 storages and radar,)
you needed only 3 different types factories), because after it extend button becomes bugged again..(Available but not works - build order becomes aborted)


crazy station manager (with 3 star in management) with explicit limitation of ONE zone sends your miner to Plutarch gate (3 sectors away) !!!without jump fuel!!!.

this game was definitely never tested...

Do you also need a manager on the station, or just finish URV extension 1 to advance the plot?
Heard it bugs out the architect in some cases..?

i have completed my drone station completely and still no battle no battle orders nothing .do i have to restart again?

Yeah, I completed the first stage of the URV Wharf, get a pretty little camera visual of the completed module... But no Alliance Plot complete or continuation/marker to next part after that?

Anyone else know what to do after that? Bugged?

You don't have to do stage 2 of each module, but you need to construct all 3 modules to stage 1.

The modules are: Steel Refinery (default), Wafer Plant and URV Wharf.
