However the plot gets completely broken for me after that. I get a cutscene about a big battle and told to follow the coordinates but I have no objectives and my mission list is empty. I eventually found the right place by just flying around and finding the right zone, took part in a big battle, got another cutscene with instructions but missions list is still empty and I have no idea where to go.
Probably going to have to wait for a patch for this one.
It wont do much good though as the objectives will never come back even after that mission
You extend/expand the existing station by visiting the Architect on the Construction ship that built it, the ship isn't visible in property but it does still exist. You can still locate it on the sector map, fly to it and dock, then talk to the Architect. The option you want is stage 1 for URV Wharf, about halfway down the build choice page (option 1).
Anyway, once i built the station expansion, I got the plot dialogue I think you guys are talking about, where the Albion leader guy tells you there's going to be a big battle at the jump gate and your forces will be split into two groups, with you leading one and him leading the other. After that dialog Yisha tells you she's receiving coordinates, but I never got a plot objective for it.
The good news is you can re-establish the plot objectives quite quickly.
Initially I thought i had to start production at the URV station to get the waypoint but that didn't make any difference (it actually seems bugged, the product name is a developer macro name?!). What you need to do after completing the station expansion (URV Wharf) is...
1. Fly to the jump gate between Devries and Albion, which is in Devries - Bleak Pebble - Twilight Sentinel. As soon as you hit that zone, a cutscene will play then you'll be flying in a "wing" of ships that follow you, toward some plutarch by the gate. I just skirted around the Plutarch cap ships and fought a few attack drones. Once I could see the friendly cap ships nearby, I just flew over by them and let them handle the remaining drones. At this point you should get some more plot dialog from the Albion leader saying he's going to jump about and Yisha will QQ a bit. Then you're left wondering what to do again, with no active plot objective still.
2. Just fly through the jump gate to Albion and you'll get a cutscene video immediately. Once it's finished you'll get some more plot dialog about what a f*ckup the attack was, but still no objective. Fly back through the gate, all the way to Devries - Glaring Truth - Fervid Corona.
3. Once you reach Fervid Corona you'll get some more plot dialog about how some of the Canteran ships jumped to a different jump beacon somewhere. Well there's only two jump gates in this sector, and we just left the Albion gate, so it must the only other jump gate in the Devries sector!4. Fly to Devries - Molten Archon - Vapour Stream, which is the sector with the other gate it in. Once you arrive there you'll find a welcoming party. Just stop the ship, listen to their plot dialog, and they'll jump you through the gate automatically. On the other side of the gate just stay still and you'll get some more plot dialog, followed by a video cutscene, followed by more plot dialog, followed by...SpoilerShowIt's the one to omicron lyrae.
A new plot objective!
I haven't played much past that point, but it seems ok for a little while at least. Man this game is something else, and I don't mean that in a good way. Just so many bugs to work around in this plotline.
