Integrative URV Forge Done - Not registering as complete in mission tracker

FINALLY got the station built, had to get someone else's save and use it.

NOW it's finished, I can go inside the station and everything looks complete. What am I missing?

It's not ticked off in my mission tracker - and I'm starting to get relatively annoyed about it. :evil:

You need to build all three sections (the first one, the wafer, and the URV line).

NOT all three stages, btw, for each of those.

So, how do I build the 2 other sections?
1. Via the Construction ship (mine has disappeared!)
2. Via the Manager that I've placed on the station
3. Via an Architect that I must put on the station
Also, do I have to give them/anyone money for this to happen?

So I have to build two more stations?

If that's not right, how do I do that? I've looked in all of the menus and have seen none of this and I've gotten the "first station complete" achievement.

The architect menu has the option to extend your station with other modules. Build a wafer plant and a URV plant to truly 'complete' the station.

It has taken me countless hours of game time and forum research to get this info, so I'm going to spell it out for those that come next.

After you have built the first part of the URV station:
1. You need to dock at your Construction Ship
2. Talk to the Architect
3. Choose 1, Show Construction Plan
4. Scroll down and Click on the line titled "Stage 2"
5. This should allow you to then click the "Extend" button
6. Choose your options and finally OK the new build

Not at all obvious in my book, but there you go!

just sayign as soon as my constroctuion ship was in position my mission was completed and its now slowly building it

There's a mission called 'alliance' a few missions later that doesn't continue until you finish building all three pieces

I did this and now my construction ship is flying around randomly and no longer in my property list. It has the green brackets, but according to my UI it does not exist.

This. Once I finished the stage 1 and hired a manager for the station I am litelarly lost what to do next. My construction ship seems to be running around and I can't catch it (lol)...

This seems to be linked to hiring a manager - I did not post a manager until all three sections were complete.

When building stations, do you guys have to go out and buy all the equipment yourself?

I hit the "you take care of it" option when it asked me how it wanted to take care of it, and i figured it meant that i would give them extra money and they'd go buy all the necessary parts themselves (saving me the time and energy from trying to perform trades that rarely work).

But my construction ship is just sitting there, and has a few platforms that say it's buying those things but nothing is happening. I feel that i might still need to go buy the items and sell it to the ship.

Was this also the case with you guys?

Yes . If you tell it to buy supplies it just advertises for them at an attractive rate.
But most of the goods don't get supplied from the NPC traders, or at least I got bored waiting. You can fulfil these orders yourself in the same way as any other trades.

Yup, AI traders never came to supply the materials, so had to setup my own freighters to do the job.

That's unfortunate. I don't know if 1.14 somehow broke trade or something, but i haven't been able to get a single trade to work with my Scaldis class ship, i did manage to do the 300 food mission but nothing since then.

I guess i'll have to wait until there is some kind of fix for the trading system.


EDIT: nevermind. After about 20+ tries of setting the ship to trade and then deleting those trades when it wouldn't do anything for hours, it finally closed a trade. Maybe things are looking up.

Not getting into the whole "should they have released it" debate, I'm treating it as the very buggy, but with lots of potential game it is right now.

This basically means I am happy to deconstruct the cat/dat files for information, then hack the save files to bypass the frustrating / broken bits so I can move on with the plot.

In a few weeks (hopefully) when the majority of issues are sorted I will start again without cheating so I actually get a sense of achievement when I complete the plot (any cheating removes this instantly) but I will have a much better idea of how everything works and what I need to do.

I think they should have released it as beta, as most smaller devs do, or waited until they had some kind of beta testing to flush out all the bugs.

If they released it as beta, I doubt we'd have the level of complaints that we have now.

They had a team of experienced people they decided to ignore.
we are the "beta testers", when everything is ironed out, I suspect they will try to re-submit the finished game to the console market.

Its a pretty nifty move to get beta testers to pay up to £50 to test a game, hats off to you Bernd.

wont let me upgrade Integrative URV Forge

stage 1 built, manager and defence good, percision assembler and metalurgical eng also , 2 ships (baldors) assigned to defence 1 of each type of hauler and 2 gas and rock minning ships assigned to manager have all the parts to upgrade, i select the stage and click extend she says "we will get stared right away and never builds... what am i missing.
