Stock Exchange SE not unlocking

I started AP in Omicron Lyrae and have been playing for a few days. The Stock Exchange in Nyana's Hideout works, along with the Teladi's in PTNI and Grand Exchange. I haven't been to Seizewell yet.

anyway, the other Stock Exchanges wont open for me.
the paranid notoriety of Friend of Priest is well past and I continually dock at the SE in Cardinal's Domain hoping that it will start to work.
I am also past Enlisted for the split, and
my trade rank is high enough for the boron but,
none of those work.

am I missing something?

As per the Survival Guide on the main X Universe forum, Stock Exchanges belonging to different races have different unlock requirements. You can see what these are by reading the Info menu for the Stock Exchange station.

The point tater-tots is making, though, is that even when you meet the criteria shown for some of the exchanges, they don't unlock. I've just had the same issue with a Split stock exchange.

o.k. I got a few of the Stock Exchange to open that wouldn't before.

started with Lucky Planets (look out for equipment dock protection plasma if on autopilot);
jumped into Lucky Planets with the intent of docking at the Stock Exchange,
targeted the Stock Exchange,
commed the Stock Exchange and asked everybody there for directions to the nearest shipyard/ nearest equipment dock,
then, on the side bar, I pulled up the local Stock Exchange. and it worked whence it previously hadn't.

then, I jumped to the sectors where I also couldn't get the stock exchanges to unlock, and, they opened by targeting them and then pulling up the local Stock Exchange on the side bar.

surely this isn't what you must do to unlock the Stock Exchange when it/ they won't open for you. more likely the angle you hold your joystick.

Apparently the Paranid stock exchanges unlock at Friend of Priest Duke and NOT at Friend of Priest. Also, it appears that you must dock your player ship with the SE in question in order to unlock it. I had reached Friend of Priest Duke but could still not access the SE, even though I had a M5 docked there. I had to dock myself and then I could access it. I'm pretty sure that's how it was with the Argon SEs, too. After a built a station in Argon space, I still had to dock with each Argon SE to unlock it.
