I hit this bug when I took Griffith to the OSB in Aldrin 2.
Reloading the autosave from when I picked him up from the power plant doesn't solve the problem.
Was there a solution for this or has my game just hit the wall? :(
Do you miss dangerous pirates?

I dock at the OSB, get the mission complete jingle.
Orange writing at the bottom of the screen reads:
Fly to object.name@L2M011.Aldrin 2 Gate
Same in the mission page.
Guidance indicates the OSB.

I remember this bug coming up months ago, but can't remember how it was resolved or find the post now.
At present it looks like I've lost 3 and a half hours game-time.
Do you miss dangerous pirates?
Try leading the target a little more...

Ripskar, I had this same issue on my last playthrough for that mission. I just flew towards the new gate, iirc, and it worked fine. I remember I had to stay back from the gate or risk crossfire, because it was a warzone.

Basically, there should be a new gate somewhere close (that wasn't there when you entered the sector). Look around for it with goggles if necessary and fly towards it.

Hope my memory is correct on this, but that's how I remember getting around it.

I know i am reopening an old thread but, I found flying to the capital ships on the other side of the station away from the two gates that go to Adrin. The cut scene starts and the gate appears. Hope this helps people in the future.
