[WIP] Venator continued SUPPORT THREAD
This is the support thread for the venator continued mod to help keep feed back and support seperate.

Ok an update on the testing,
The fighter class ships (m3 M4 and M5) will not land on the Venator.
They cannot find the approach position for automatic docking. One of the m3s actually was looking for it but flew straight into the Venator and blew up.
As a player ship using any of the fighters I cannot request permission to land so I'm assuming the docking protocol for fighters is inactive at this stage.
My TS docked no problem.
M6 docks no problem however I would recommend that the approach be at a slight angle downwards so that the ship doesn't fly through the fuselage of the Venator but instead the approach comes from underneath.

about the fighters.. i dont have any problems with them.. they all line up nicely and fly streight into the dock..
ill download the testpackage and test it myself, perhaps something was left out or something..
i would like to change the angle very much but im not sure how to do this yet..
i will deffo look into this since its not very cool to have a ship flying through another..

uploaded a new testpackage in the main topic, it fixes a few things and should make the installation more easy..
i wasnt able to change the M6 docking path yet tho..

Although i'm tempted to lock this because i don't want 2 topics for every script or mod going, i will not at the moment.
However if i find both being bumped with similar info the decision will be made for me
It's not about your mod (which is very nice), just the fact it opens it up for everybody else to do so because we have a precedence.
I also have a lack of faith in people doing what you want them to and posting in the correct topic.
Maybe 1 topic would be best for the balance of the forum because if this breeds there will be a 1 topic rule introduced

Fighters still cannot dock inside the ship.

I looked through your scene file, and found this:
P 56 to 58 also contain this, and P 59 contains the following:
So these seem to be the entries which are responsible for the fighter docking. However, if you look through the cat/dat file, you will notice that there is no folder "objects\ships\Anubitus\props", and the two files (int_fighter_docking_dummy / int_fighter_launching_dummy) are also nowhere to find in the cat/dat files.
So I guess you just forgot to add these files to the cat/dat

whokay.. i forgot to add the docking dummies i made for the ship.. 
in my install they are in another CAT/DAT.. sorry for this.. will be fixed in the next test pack..

Awesome,
Testing the Beta II, apart from fighters not docking (been discussed already), it would be great if the weapons energy could have a major boost increase. Currently it takes a good 10 seconds to re-charge the XL weapons. Also if you can remember to change the cockpit_scene to a M1 or M2 also instead of a M5 that would be great.
Apart from that, It's working great.

Thank you, i can understand that.
