<Var/Number> = The id number for the required sound sample.


Plays a sound effect sample.


Example:

play sample 920

This is the sound you hear when your prized capital ship goes tada's.


Sound file reference numbers:

(PS17 Yes /No) This entry indicated the samples that are available to be played through the play sample instruction. Unfortunately, most of the engine effects are not available to be played this way.
