It has been a while since I have been here. This may be begging but I woiuld like maybe a free X-HYPERION game if you decide to make it if not, no compensation requested. This is a bit unorthodox and I don't expect to be taken too seroulsly. Just in case my mail is RT 7 BOX 130 OLIVE HILL KY 41164, I LOVE CHECKINg the mail box at home. Now to buisness. X-Hyperion is set after the Kha'ak and Xenon war. The Kha'ak made a special ion gun that does not jump from ship to ship and is highly effective. The Xenon Make a Shard cannon simillar to the Gatling gun that has shiled pierceing ammo. But each round does about 2,000 hull points of damage at the same cost as ammo but a 2 second delay between firings.
Fortunately the Kha'ak and Xenon destroyed each other during the great war. This led to a race from all over the galaxy to cliam pieces of thier technology.
ch 1
It is speculated that pirates have allready found the rare Xenon Shard cannon. And are secrely selling it in pirate sectors. While the split and Paranid look for Kha'ak engine technology, this has caused a few wars to break out between the two. Boron and Argon are looking for Kha'ak weapons technology. Later in the game these technologies may be aquired by the specific races. But an Earth scientist has made a monumental discovery. The largest galactic star map in the entire universe. Saya or Julian must race to gain the map and hopefuly discover the three lost races that lay hidden and isolated for thousands of years.
These races are the technologicly advanced ELDAR that Make Hyperion ship yards. These ship yards are self contained ouposts that make ore and silicon as well as nividium using Subspace scaners. This massive factories produce every known product that is required for making ships, weapons, food, technology and energy. Costing a whopping 150,000,000 credits. Eldar ships are well balanced like argon ships but use anitmater reactors for more power and greater speed. With universal hard ports for equiping all know weapons. and have the ability to equip shields of larger classes on thier ships. For example An eldar light fighter can have 25mw shields and or mj if you like. With a top speed of 1000. Hit points are neartly the same as paranid and Taladie. Medium would be 50MW and speed of 700, with Heavy fighter weapons class guns. Although yuo could use cap ship weapons refire is very slow to gain charge. Heavy fighter is 500 speed and up to 100MW shield to 125MW shield for the advanced. Thier armor is imune to micro mertorites and gatling guns as are the others. But are week agianst radation guns and radoactivity. The Polonium Emitter if highly effective against the lost races but is so expensiive at 1,000,000 credits and landing on Earth is the only way to get one. Corvets go as fast as 400, freighter as good as 450 and larger ships go 300. The Draya and Crolysians are imune to ion beem for interal equipment damage. but the Crolysians hull generates a shield when fired upon by energy weapons by converting 50% of the energy of a wepons blast into energy to make a shield. That means missils or Kha'ak wepons are effective against them. They are extreemly hard to find until you have the galaxy map. Argon space fuel enhancement can be bought at split space docks to increase power of you ship by 50%.
Ch 2
The Draya are a peace loving race of advanced organic technology. Thier ships start out with the ability to regain 10 hit points a second as your ship gains experience it can reach a max regain up to 100 persecond. Exp. is defined as 1 hp regain increase for every 5 ships killed. They are similar to boron in ship stats but double the hull hit points or hull strength. They have an advanced Hyperion ship yard producing virtuly everything except silicon and ore and nividium, and cost 300,000,000 credits. Instead they have Endurium farms. The simulate ancient forest the condence the endurium at the roots of the Florana trees. This substitues ore. It can be refined into Tridurium for niviidium and instead of silicon they use organic diamond boron waffers. Thier energy cells are cheaper to make and are more profitible than any other. The Draya do not use reactors in thier ships, Instead the Organic armor produces solar power depending on the suns in a solar system. In No sun the work at 100% using energy crystals in the cell of the armor to power your ship. In One sun it make 200% power and an extra 50% for each adtional sun. This helps to double your speed, and hull regenerate faster by 100% for each sun. The max regain rate for a ship is nearly 900 per second in the Draya home sector. This is probly why they have beat the Kha'ak out of thier home system and are so well isolated. Rare ship upgrade from the paranid can increase your ships speed up to nearly 1000. But you must dock at the paranid home world using the new docking rings in orbit. Planet side you can buy ships weapons, upgrates. Play at consenos, invest in the stock market. Though the stock usualy return 3% on your investment or pay 1% dividends on your investment. Banks pay 0.5 credits for every 100 credits you save every real time hour.
CH 3
Crolysians are now Litho's;have no shields but the crystal structure converts energy into shields by a factor of 50% The Rest does hull damage. But they are made of a similar material to Shard cannons and incorporate the material to increase overal hull hit points. But thier ships take on massive amounts of damage agiantst missils. But thier ships are cheap to build and require only energy cells to build and silicon. Thier energy guns do not drain or use any energy but have a slower than adverage refire. But the high energy Zero point module is the main power supply of their ships. Due to thier main engine technology all ships regarless of size have top speeds of 500. Crolysians use gravity distorions to protect thier ships so many weapons fire is reduced by 25% The work and recharge similar to shields but work differently. Thier Hyperion ship yards Use energy replicators. Since thier ZPMS make untold power They convert energy into what they need. ZPMS are rare energy generaots that convert space time into energy. Hence the gravity disttorions on the factories and ships. Thier Hyperion ship yards have the best production rate of all known substances and materials and weapons. The down side is that one would have to pay 500,000,000 for a hyperion ship yard. They only Make Hyperion ship yards. Note you can replace reactors for A ZPM and will always atleast double your cargo hold space and your power out put by 500MW. Universal cargo holds are now standard, meaning your ships will only be limited by space. The Crolysians is probly not the best name I think maybe the Sigma or Metamorphs or somthing. Feel free to chang game names. Thier ship hps start at standard Argon stats But can be increased to nearly 999,999,999 if you just pond it with as many shard cannons as you can.
Ch 4
The split have new space fly fabs. They consume Nividium or Tridurium to grow space flies.
In secret the space pirates have leartned about the galaxy map and are trying to stop you from gaining untold fame and fortune. But Terra corps needs 10,000,000,000 credits to teraform the planet mars into a new earth. Elna has entrusted you to fulfill this goal. This is open ended objective. Once you have done this you can gain all the best stuff in the game. Even the Organic armor enhancments for any ship, the omega shield that is 100GJ or 100GW that use only 100MJ of power. But the Bad news is A space monster Attacks after terafroming Mars. All the races must stop The planet Sized Xenon or Kha'ak Mother ship from destroying the Galaxy. Also Space station hubs should have a instation expander. For example if you buy a hub from argon the expander limites you to just argon startions And the auto funtion allow you to order new stations and are automaticly add to your space station hub. It now also scans all asteroiids in the system and allower the addition of space mines to your factory hub.
CH 5
You can now hire captains if you like or just use trade soft ware. Real captions cost 5000 credits to start and to stay on the amount increases by 10% up until they make you 100,000 credits but slow gain trade experience and learn to be more profitable.
Multie player could consist of and editor for sectors . You get one sector for online play as your home. While you quit online you auto jump to your home sector on your machine, This is seperate from single player mode. If your sector wins a desiign contest is it incorporated into the galaxy server for all to play on. Also you can add custom sectors to your single player game. You can only edit asteroids and space staions though and debre and suns. In the options menu you can choose galaxy size from nano of 20 systems, micro at 40, tiny at 50, small at 60, Medium at 100, Large ate 150, huge at 200, insane ate 300, and system overload at 1000.
CH6
Isolated scetors are unkown sectors that pirates or other ships do not attack. But it make trading less profitable unless you have jump drive in a a freither with trade soft ware. Raiders are thought than pritrates and smugglers get more credits on illegal goods. Junkers get all ships and stattions cheaper than all others. In story choice moce allows you to choose a custom charactors in sp or mp mode. The new races and factions and even Gonar. Merchants gain 10% profit gain on all trans actions and Mining guilds have higher cargo bays than any other faction or race. Also Jump cpacitors charch up for each jump but cost 100,000,000 up to 100 sector jumps. Unless you buy the Gonar jump Randomizer to make random jumps it also makes any jump posible cosing 100,000,000 credits. Then Also if a custom character Saya or Julian will help you.

I added a little to this game concept and I will post my earlier verstion called Xenon Star.
Guilds:
Guilds are special organizations that give players some sort of bonus or access to special space factories. Guild centers are found on planets or on Guild stations in space sectors.
Types of guilds: Guild types affect ship stats, increase profit, grant special stations and increase your reputation from trade and killing pirates. To Join a guild it will cost 25,000 credits for membership. Your success in the game increases your guilds prestige. This increases what the guild will offer you later though out the game.
Specific in game Guilds:
Junkers:
They build special recycling factories, that break down waste and convert it into Duranium Armor Plating. It doubles your hull points and cost 34,000 credits for the upgrade. Duranium plants can be bought from the Junk guild for 100,000 credits where one waste and one silicon and one ore and teladianium are used to make Duranium armor plating. It requires 3 energy cells to run the production of the plant per unit made.
The Duranium upgrade is accumulative with the triple hull plating that acts like 6 hulls total.
Junker Factory ships can make most all items weapons and ships that are similar to Teladi production trees. Junker ships cost less, also hull points speed or cargo space and so on may be slightly less.
The Junker factory ships cost about 50,000,000 credits. It is a moving factory making many kinds of weapons that are smaller than those for capital ships with the exception of shard cannons and ion guns and goods. The Junker factory ships also have the ability to make and deploy mining drones. These drones mine ore and silicon and Nividium, finally thorium. Make pretty much everything but capital ships used by pirates.
The factory ships also require small amounts of rare thorium to power nuclear fuel cells. One unit of thorium will charge an equivalent of 50,000 energy cells. And does not need sunlight to work, just crystals. Nuclear fuel cells make 25MJ to 125MJ of energy each and are a rare power upgrade increasing laser firing time, engine speed, and shield recharge time. Thorium cost 5,000 credits per fuel rod, and 20,000 per nuclear fuel cell. And Power Plants in some sectors use only thorium fuel cells and crystals to make energy cells. Mainly Junkers. And Junker Sectors are mostly sectors that most races do not consider profitable from lack of sun and lack of nividium or thorium to mine. Nuclear fuel cell power plants are cheap costing 55,000 credits but require more expensive input of thorium to make energy cells and crystals. But have the advantage of working in dark sectors. And are sometimes built in pirate sectors because of the lack of sun light and have turned a good profit for entrepreneurs in dark sectors.
Junkers are found in Argon sectors and have ties to Split smuggler stations. Smugglers are a sub guild of Junkers. They have advanced cargo bay expansions that are 50% better than any other in the galaxy.
Mining Guild
They sell mining drones and Carrier class ships. These ships store fleets of mining drones so you can mine nividium and store fighter drones. They have a limited capacity to make more mining drones and defense fighters. A Mining Guild carrier is about the size of a large carrier. It can house 20 mining drones 40 fighter drones, or 20 ships freighter class with a cargo space of 15,000 and cost 18,000,000. Mining drones cost 5,000 credits and store 50 nividium, ore an silicon or thorium. Also mining guild silicon and ore mines use less energy cells by 25% and increase yield and production speed by 15%. Mining carriers will also sell minerals to traders that dock with the ship.
The mining guild special bonus up grade: Triple hull plating. Increasing your hull points by three times. You may equip Duranium hull plating twice for the inner hulls if you have a Raya hull.
Trade Guild
The trade guild makes fast freighters up to 400 speed at a 2,000 cargo bay. 300 speed at 5,000 cargo bay. Reinforced hull (150%) and shield capacity up to 125 Mega Jules to 250 MJ. All can equip mining drones or have front facing mining laser slots. Also you get an added trade bonus buying 1 credit less the price listed and sell for 1 credit extra the price listed by presenting your trade guild license at guild member owned stations. Sector Profit Share owned by the trade guild has all guild stations. And membership will attract guild members to your stations if they can get a better price than else ware in the sector.
This guild has head quarters in split space.
Law or Police Guild
Gives double the credits for killing pirates, xenon and Kah’ak and some credits for killing smugglers.
Spcecial bonus item: Laser Turrets. Make a small beam similar in power to a gamma emitter but with targeting software that points turrets always towards your target. Found In Argon Space.
Farming Guild
Increases the production of all organic material raised in factories by 30% and reduces energy cell use by 20% Note this also adds 30% heal rate of organic hulls and Raya Endurium production is increased.
Bonus: Shield Doublers- Double the protection of your shields by means of using capacitors and making double walled shields. Costing 18,900 credits.
This guild is found mainly in Boron Space.
Mechanics Guild
The mechanics Guild have access to the guilds galaxy map. This allows all pilots in the guild to see the entire collective galaxy map of guild members. Also best buys and sells locators are free to members that join the guild at guild own equipment docks.
Bonus Item: Nano Machine Canisters; these automaticly repair hull damage to a ship. Over time these nano machines are used up and need replacing. One canister can auto repair 1,000,000 in hull damage total repair capacity. Nano machine refills cost 1,000 credits
Paranid space is usually home to this guild
Survivalist Guild:
This is a guild made by the Gonars. They give free insurance to members. And you gain access to Gonar ships. Although slow even the smallest fighter has a hold space of 200XL.
Solar Guild
This guild increases energy crystal production by selling specially designed solar power plants that have solar hull plates that make tritium and have fusion reactors to increase energy cell production in addition to the usual solar arrays of traditional solar power plants. Energy crystals are interchangeable with energy cells but do not require the resources of conventional power plants. Energy condensers and Raya crystallization chambers compact energy into a solid form. Also The solar guild is the first collaborative effort for peace to all races started by the Eldar and Raya, Argon, Boron and Earth. And is accessible by everyone.
And the Solar Guild makes shield regenerators. The shield regenerator increases shield recharge rates. Costing 100,000 credits and regenerates 500 shield points per second drawing energy from your engines your speed may drop by 25%. The negative effects of the shield regenerator are nullified by solar hull plates. The Solar Guild also makes solar hull plating that is made mostly of silicon and ore with nividium as a second resource. The solar hull plating acts to reduce energy weapon damage by 25%. And will make Tritium fuel at a rate of one tritium per one minute per sun and doubling in production per sun. This guild is found only in solar sectors. This guild is only available after the tutorial.
Industrial Guild
All factories have a production speed cut by 10%. Later you can buy the factory production software mk1 that cuts time ban an additional 20% and FPS MK2 by 20% reduction in manufacturing time and the MK3 software reduces it by 20% all accumulative stats. Mk1 starts at 30,000 credits and doubles for each software mark number.
Fusion ship overhaul: This includes the fusion reactor upgrade adds 200 Mega Jules of energy to your ship and a shield expander that allows the equipping of at least 25MJ shield regardless of your ships sizes as the fusion reactors are so small you gain cargo space. But be warned your ship will use tritium fuel.
Fusion Engines have better speed and are used with the fusion reactor upgrade increasing your ships speed by 300 to 500 depending on size.
Ram scoops are devices that allow the fusion ship overhaul to work. They make tritium fusion fuel for your ship in solar sectors. Fuel drops at a rate of 1 unit of fuel per distance of 900,000 meters in dark sectors. If you have a ram scope and at least one sun in your current space sector; it will gain 1 unit of fuel per minute for one sun, and half that time for 2 suns and 20 seconds for 1 Unit of fuel and 4 is 15 seconds for 1unit of fuel. And 10 seconds for 5 stars and 5 seconds for 6 stars. Also note: when your fuel is depleted you will still move but at one quarter speed on Helium ions stored in your ion fuel tank that has a range of 15 sectors. IF You Run Out Of Fuel You Will Have To Ask Other Pilots For Help Or For More Fuel. Some may sell you some fuel until you get to a breeder plant or a solar sector.
Tritium will cost 500 credits but your excess tritium can be sold for profit. And it takes up only 1 small cargo space for 100 units of fuel.
The Fusion Ship over haul is modified when you buy solar hull plats or organic armor. Thorium Fuel cells add power and take up more room but you may expand your shield slot to 125 mega joules. And the fusion ship overhaul is non transferable. There are also other ship overhauls. But once you buy organic armor you no longer need a fusion reactor. And your cargo bay is increased. Fusion engines simply consume tritium.
Fusion Power Plants:
Fusion Power Plants: cost 1,000,000 credits and consume Tritium fuel at a cost of 500 credits for one unit of fuel. Since Tritium can only be bought on planets or made in Thorium breeder Fission reactors or collected by ships with ram scoops or collected by solar hull plates. These power plants will charge at least 50,000 energy cells per unit of tritium, Also if your in the solar guild you can buy the solar hull upgrade so it will collect tritium in any solar sector.
Dark Sectors: sectors without suns:
There are many new sectors many without any suns. These sectors have little trade or are isolated so the races that inhabit these sectors had to come up with an alternative energy rather than rely on slow delivery of energy cells from solar power plants 2 or more sectors away or completely isolated by only using a jump drive.
Breeder Nuclear Power Plants: make energy cells and tritium consuming only thorium fuel rods and crystals. They cost 1,000,000 credits and can be bought at Earth Ship yards or Pirate ship yards since only governments from the other races are allowed to own such plants. For each thorium fuel rod 15,000 energy cells are charged up and 5 units of tritium fuel are produced and 2 units of uranium (you can sell uranium at 7,500 on black market or to planets and government run space stations that use it) to keep the reactor going; finally one unit of waste.
Nuclear waste can be made into Duranium hull plating. This makes your armor more resistant to micro meteorites and chain gun ammo.
The ionized waste cannon uses one unit of waste per 10 shots. 100 hull damage is done plus 10 hull points per second if the hull is vulnerable to radiation but the cloud last only 10 seconds enveloping your entire enemy in a cloud of radiation. The guns are used by Smugglers which are highly illegal. So a police license is required as well as a good reputation with the governments of other races. Other wise a police ship may ask you to jettison your weapon and start firing if you don’t. Ionized waste cannons are most effective against Litho hulls followed by organic hulls especially the Kah‘ak. The radiation seems to bypass shields. And cost a pilot 500,000 credits.
The Argon and industry guild Makes Fusion Power Plants: They charge 50,000 energy cells from just one unit of tritium and a few crystals. These plants are used only in sectors with thorium or ones that have no suns what so ever. And since pirates have gone into the energy business and after the great war, attacks of any kind on your self or stations are extremely rare about once a week of game play in real time.
Unless you go to options game setting and set pirate activity up from 0-10 since they are not as strong as the other two. Xenon activity from 0-5, and Kah’ak activity 0-2, since they have a new supper weapons.
Dark sectors may not have any suns but usually have thorium, nividium, ore and silicon. Thorium being rare it is found on a very few asteroids and nividium is only more rare. But planets produce good amounts of thorium and is about as common as silver. The sectors without suns some times have planets lit up like a jewel from space because of the need of constant lighting these cities never seem to sleep.
But the point of using fusion, or Thorium fuel cell plants is to avoid the need to import energy cells into sectors with out suns that are 15 sectors away from any sun. The same goes for Thorium Breeders but the excess uranium is used to make nukes. If you just happen to be in a dark sector with out a sun but with an ice world that has water and thorium and a docking ring. You can buy the water to breed tritium for fusion plants and us thorium in the breeder station so you can keep fusion power plants going. But if you use Uranium in a nuclear fuel cell the cell doubles in power. And quadruples production speed of energy cells in Nuclear fuel cell plants.
But this whole energy racket is one concocted to make more credits. And the nuclear fuel cell, fusion and breeder power plants have a faster production time than solar power plants in on sun sectors. For example a Fuel cell plant is as fast as a solar plant in a sector with 4 suns, breeders are about as good as a solar plant in a sector with 3 sun production speed wise; finally a fusion power plant is as fast as a solar power plant is a sector with at least five suns.
The best thing about Dark Sectors are usualy excellent ore, high silicon and good nividium, and some thorium. Although Pirates and few races dare to enter dark sectors they are mostly deserted and isolated.
ISOLATED SECTORS:
Isolated sectors are only found from random jumps. The draw back is you have to use jump drives for your freighters to sell your surplus goods, but your left all alone in isolated sectors. Special Trade software Mk jump trade allows freighter to auto trade while jumping x number of sectors away to sell and buy goods to make profit. The freighters do better with energy condensers.
Antimatter ship Overhaul: Made by the Eldar allows you to keep your current ship, is identical to Fusion ship overhaul except Antimatter reactors make 500MJ of energy, better shield expansion, Faster Antimatter engine speed and consumes antimatter at a rate of 1unit per 100,000,000 meters of space traveled. Antimatter is made by the reactors. It is made in small quantities only to keep your ship going and is self sustaining.
The Electro dynamic ship upgrade adds Raya technology to your ship. You gain an organic hull and a electro dynamic engine. Engine speed varies from 900 to 300 depending on your ship size. The Litho home world sell ZPM upgrades to allow your ship to work well in any light and to fire any weapon size. Fighters are limited one to two capital ship weapons, and one CSW per ship class.
Characters development:
You can now choose your character hair color, clothes, and race gender so on in the non story game and choose what your character is, trader, Merchant that owns a factory, pirate, police, smuggler, explorer. If you do go to story mode the best you can do is choose what Saya or Julian wear and hair style. How many credits starting from 10,000 to 1,000,000 and both default with a fighter starting. Or just choose freestyle as you choose race gender and guild.
The explorer has a fast ship with large cargo bay to store energy cells. You also start with 1,000,000 credits and a solar power plant In George Washington Memorial an earth sector with 5 suns, a ship yard, asteroids containing nividium, ore and silicon and mines, and crystal fabs and an equipment dock. You also start with a jump drive and jump drive randomizer but get paid by terra corp 6,000 credits for each new sector discovered.
Tutorial Story
Intro:
After the great war between the Kah’ak and the Xenon Julian discovered a large Kha'ak factory that was deserted. It was discovered that they used nividium and space flies to grow their ships. The space flies made the ships go and the nividium provided the food to keep the ships alive and feed brains that controlled the ships. Killing the brain released the ship from Kah’ak control.
An experiment showed a weakness in the Kha'ak to radiation. So Terra Corp with the help of earth used magnetic warping to make ultra dense bismuth 209. This was made into a bullet shape and encased in resonate crystal on all sides but the back leaving a small hole in the crystal. An Alpha emitter was used to propel the bullet but also breed the bismuth 209 into highly radioactive polonium 210. This caused 7,000 hull damage to a heavy Kha'ak fighter.
By the time Julian tested the weapon it had been a month after the war and the Kha'ak and Xenon were virtually eliminated from the galaxy trying to defend what few space sectors they still inhabited. It was assumed that the link the xenon had to earth was the cause of the great war.
Discovery
While on Titan, in the sol system a scientist was working on some Ancient ruins from an unknown civilization. His name was Harry Graves. While he searched the old computer data banks of the lost city a galactic map was discovered that showed most of the known universe and more than 500,000 space sectors and one million stars. Immediately he called Earth to report his discovery.
A battle cruiser was sent out from Jupiter prime only to be lost forever. A distress signal was sent out by Harry Graves; “Help! Pirates are here. They got copy of galaxy map. Plan to go into Xenon space steal something from their home world” cutting out.
Julian was sent out to the Xenon home sector around the planet Terran Destiny the first world the Xenon colonized and became independent. While exploring this sector Xenon ships lay in ruins, space stations were destroyed. The home world was decimated from orbital bombardment by nuclear weapons.
Landing on the planet the data module recovered shows pirate ships and the pirates searching the ruble until they got what they were looking for. Some sort of new weapon looking like chain gun but larger only three barrels of large size and large crystals about one third meter long by 20 centimeters diameter
Treasure Trove
The data from the Xenon home world revealed a large pirate fleet, it also gave the locations of all former Xenon and Kah’ak space. There was a video clip of a new Kha'ak weapon that looked like a large resonate transformer. The Kak used to drain the shields of Xenon ships in seconds. It did not bounce from ship to ship but was more concentrated to a single ship. Some sort of new ion weapon.
Julian at Earth Base One. Walks into the Admirals office. The pirate ships were too numerous and well equipped. A force of 6 carriers 2 dreadnaughts and 3 battle ships with fighters, drones and nukes. They Must be from Black Beards Horde the pirate planet in the Treasure Trove space sector. Julian, see what you can find out. Be careful the system has radioactive asteroids containing thorium and no sun. It is the ideal spot for a surprise attack.
Going through the sectors Julian gets a message from Saya Kole. Hey Julian Terra corp has a new Gravic Drive Accelerator and it’s yours if you let me come along. Encounter
It had been about 3 weeks since they had departed on business. And both seemed happy to see one another again. Saya pulls into transporter range and installs the new component. Ok Julian your all set.
Great now let’s see what this thing can do. Immediately his ship is at top speed and accelerating to nearly double his ships speed. Saya pulls along side by him; keep up if you can. Both race to get to treasure trove. Saya in her paranid Gargant beats him into the sector.
That was fun Saya, Picking up anything on your scanner. No But there is the planetary docking ring. Yeah and it is full of pirates just waiting to do who knows what. I’m getting incoming message. Pilotss thisss iss Taladie Captain Sspeaking. Pleasse land on planet. You may call me Ix.
Should we trust him Saya asked. Julian thinks a moment. It couldn’t hurt. They both land on the pirate world and walk into a strange apartment fitted out more like a drone command center. They see a monster of a ship destroying the Pirate fleet. The taladie gives them the galaxy map. Take this Map it is a copy of the one I stole. All I want in payment is revenge the teladie hisses.
New objectives.
The two both head to EB one. The Admiral contacts Argon prime and Terra Corp in the briefing room. Sharing the information they found Three new races were found. Julian and Saya must now enlist the aid of the ancient races if they still exist or not.
Saya fills Julian in on the Mars Teraforming project to make it the same size as earth using asteroids and moons. The atmosphere was to be regenerated from CO2 from Venus and Nitrogen from titan. It will cost 10,000,000,000 credits. Julian whistles that is a lot of money. Elna calls them. So has Saya Informed you of our project.
Julian replies yes but how on earth are you going to get all the credits for that? Elna replies I had hoped to delegate that to you and Saya. Great, now all we need to do is win big in the lottery. Well if we find a way to come up with the money you be the first to know. Saya; Mom maybe the new races discovered in the Titan city data base could help. If they have advanced technology they could help us.
Elna approves Stay with Julian, If the races do have advance technology see if you can get better ships and factories to help complete the Mars Mission And try to build fleets that can stop this new threat.
Fight
This is Admiral Cartwright; Julian I have prepared new polonium cannons for you and Saya. I am having them teleported to your ships along with ammo. Ahead is a large Kah’ak fighter. See how the new weapons work.
Julian; The Kah’ak must want to stop us from finding the lost Races. Sure looks like it Julian Saya Replies. This is the Behemoth, Captain Arden speaking, I will launch fighters immediately to assist you. The Kah’ak turns on the large dreadnaut. Shields depleting rapidly. In a burst of energy the ships shields are down and is blown to dust.
It’s just a single Kak fighter. But it seems to be using some sort of new weapon. Saya: I’m on it. Firing the Polonium guns the ships hp drops near Zero. Suddenly the ship explodes leaving debris of space flies and nividium along with a strange new kah’ak weapon.
Julian using the new teleporter system beams it aboard his ship. Admiral, We have a kak gun to study. Fine Julian, Bring it to Jupiter Prime, Terra Corp has a new research station near the Radio belt of Jupiter. Saya cuts in; I know that base, It’s where the new Terra Corp Radio Power converter is being developed. Julian then follows Saya to the research station.
The Jump
While on the Research station they equip their ships with jump drive and or jump drive randomizers and load an energy cell recharge software. Elna the following equipment should get you to the nearest jump point 150 sectors away. How do we make contact Saya asks.
The old data indicates access codes to be transmitted to sector stations. They should reply after it has been given. Ok down loading the codes now. They both leave the station to jump to the sector. Oh by the way Julian I have joined the Industry guild. The factories I have in Argon prime are really paying off. I think you should join a guild also. Ok I will work on that as soon as I can. (This is a spot during the guild side quest to make some credits.)
After Making 50,000,000+ credits Julian decides to Join the Junker Guild and buy a factory ship. Using automated soft ware Julian sets up his factory ship in George Washington Memorial. The system with some of the best potential for making credits. Bordering the system are Earth, Argon, Boron, Paranid, Split and Teladi sectors. The junkers have the advantage of the Smuggler Sub Guild too. Saya and Julian Head to the newly discovered sector after making 150,000,000 credits.
Old Friend
But Before Jumping they are Hailed by the pirate they met, Ix. Hello Friends.This is Ix. I offer My service. Julian replies. I have a factory ship, If you ensure its smooth operating you can have Half of the Profit. Thank you Julian But I have something else to offer. The teladie replies. I Have recovered Xenon technology if you are Interested. Julian responds, How Much? I wish to Go with you.
Saya; Julian I don’t know. Julian defends He seems competent and he did let us use his copy of the map Julian assures her. Ok Julian you decide Saya replies. (Menue pop up choice let Ix Go with you or let him stay) Ix your with us Julian tells. Wait the taladie coms in. I found short cut. Ix Hisses. It is a second sector but has a gate leading to your destination.
Sounds Great Ix Saya Comments. Ok here we go to Valor Pride. They all make the 25 sector jump. It is a sector with 3 suns lots of asteroids with ore, silicon, nividium and Split and Paranid, Argon, Boron, and Taladie space stations. Saya comes in: this sector was developed peacefully. Ix : The Gate is hidden inside an Asteroid. Julian; inside an asteroid that sounds crazy. Saya well we’ve come this far might as well check it out.
First contact
Then flying to the edge of the asteroids is a gigantic asteroid about the size of the moon. There is large cave in the back. Carefully maneuvering past the stalactites and stalagmites they reach the inner core. Saya all struck by the beauty of strange crystals and what appears to be an abandoned city; would you guys look at this place. Hidden for who knows how long. Ix comes in; up ahead is the gate. Centered at the core they fly into the lost gate.
That went smoothly Saya Julian comments. I’m glad we made it; she replies I am checking our coordinates now. Okay verified. Julian; ok lets start transmitting the codes and hope they work.
Suddenly A Xenon Battle Ship jumps in front of them and a Kah’ak cluster start fighting. Ix, See if you can take out the Xenon Shard Cannons. I will take out the Kak’s lead fighter from the cluster Julian commands. I’ll keep broadcasting the codes in hopes of calling for help.
The Kah’ak cluster breaks up, unconcerned about Julian and Ix or Saya they fight each other. The Kah’ak bring down the Xenon’s shields, but most of the hull points on the kah’ak ships are gone and many of the small fighters are taken out. Julian manages to take out the lead Kak. Ix launches most of his missiles on the Xenon ship getting it’s hull points down to half. Then the Xenon Target Ix His ship is destroyed.
Saya stops transmitting: There here. Large dreadnaught class ships enter the fight with fighters moving faster than any of them have seen. The Kah’ak and Xenon are destroyed.
Diplomacy
Saya and Julian are Hailed by the strange fast ships. This is Captain Delron of the Eldar ship Nexion. Please land your ships on the planet below a docking ring has been deployed.
The fast ships and fighters escort the two pilots to the planetary docking ring and land on the plant. They are met by armed guards. They all have fair skin and pointed ears but look mostly human. A man in uniform asks politely to follow him.
They walk up to a huge palace ornate in a classical style. Huge doors swing open and walk through the great hall full of trimmed trees looking very ancient. Then up the red carpet into the throne room of King Hyperius of the Eldar. Welcome strangers the king greets them kindly. I am King Hyperius of the Eldar I wish to ask how you found us and why you have come.
Saya steps forward, If you please your majesty I have a data pad with all the information that would answer your questions. A guard takes the pad and plugs it into a projector. Images of a some super weapon appears on the massive wall as well as the galaxy map they found and images of the lost city on titan.
Pleasantries
Well it seems you found our lost cities. We were attacked by the Kah’ak and had lost our outpost. They have been our foe for many eons the king comments gladly. If you would join us I would like to discuss more about our people and to ask more questions.
Saya eagerly accepts and Julian goes along with it. It isn’t everyday one gets to dine with royalty. They sat at the table for a few long hours talking. The king decides; in light of this information I give you the option of buying our Hyperion ship Yard. It will cost you 150,000,000 credits but you can build all ship classes and it produces it’s own ore, silicon, nividium and pretty much everything one of your factory hubs makes. Plus our ships are faster using antimatter technology. And it makes all weapons so it always has stock. The Kah’ak and Xenon have been after our Subspace scanner technology for some time.
It produces most of our resources by extracting them from subspace fluxes. Our friends and allies the Raya once lived on our home world but chose to develop their organic technology. They believe that the sun is life. We however chose the path of technology.
We know of one other race of litho-vore. They consume rocks and minerals and treat gold as candy. They subsist off the energy of space time to power some sort of replicator technology to make what they need. They even seem immortal for the 1,000 years I have lived Their ruler is nearly 100 times that.
Julian; can you give us an introduction to these new races? Maybe but it will take a while. I will see what I can do. Saya looks a Julian; I have an idea. Your Majesty would you kindly allow a Hauler to move the Ship yard to these coordinates? Valor Pride sector well I can see why you would need help transporting the factory there. Fine it will be transported free all that remains is the initial charge when you leave the ship yard kit will be loaded on a huller ready to make the jump the king says presently. Julian look at the king : Thank you your Majesty we will depart immediately.
Valor Pride
Moving to the cent of the space sector Julian Tells the Captain to assemble the kit here. Saya comment this is a good spot Julian right above the central trade lane. The trade lane is a level path of the trade gate the ships use to move in and out of space sectors if they don’t have jump drives.
Saya begins leaving the space sector. Julian I am going out on my own to make some credits. I have a few factories I need to check on. When are you coming back Julian asks. Oh just about a week or so. That should give you the time to make the credits. Besides I want my own Hyperion ship yard. God speed Saya Julian wishes her good luck.
Julian dock with his new space station and set the advertising to with in 100 space sectors. Ships start moving in buying nividium and ore and silicon, wheat, beef and weapons, shields and a few ships even energy cells. It sure is convenient to have a all in one factory. It seems it won’t take as long as I thought it would to get the credits. Julian gets one of the newer and better Eldar ships. It has great hull strength as well as speed shields and fire power. But the cargo hold needs some expanding. Transferring his jump drive and equipment to the new ship he jumps to a Smuggler sector called Warrior’s Triumph.
Split Sector
After the jump he is in the split sector there are equipment docks and a Smuggler space station. The largest known station in the universe it has the best cargo bay expansion available.
Thanks to being part of the Junkers Guild Julian has a good enough reputation to trade with the station. He soon has his ship out fitted with a much larger cargo bay and begins to head back when he receives a new transmission.
Julian thank goodness I found you. The massive ship attacked again. This time in split space. It was a military sector so no civilians were hurt. Meet us back on Terra Corp headquarters Saya says relieved.
Julian jumps to their location. He notices that he hasn’t needed to use the Sata time accelerator to speed his ship up. It is going nearly 2300 with the Gavic engine accelerator. With the sata on it would be like moving at 23000 at times ten, reckless to try.
Briefing
The major races gathered into Terra Corp Head Quarters, representatives from Earth, Argon, Boron, Parinid, Split and Teladie all gathered around the table of the conference room. Then representatives from Eldar, Raya, and Litho show up.
Elna presides over a presentation showing the attack in split space. As you can see here the ship is nearly the size of planet Mercury. There are a few thermal hot spots so it must be nuclear powered.
Also it appears to us some sort Kah’ak drive system but is some sort of Xenon Construction. It was discovered that Xenon were studying Kak technology. And the ship yard the make the massive ship appears to have been attacked by the Kah’ak. What is worse the Kah’ak have made a new planet destroying ship.
By out estimated calculations the two with meet and converge in sector Alpha Centauri in three weeks. No matter who wins we will have to defeat the remaining ships. The delegates talk about the battle plane to take out the massive ships and to assemble a battle fleet larger than any ever known.
Saya walks out followed by Julian. Saya where are you going Julian asks in an anxious tone. Oh I was just going to get my own ship yard. I have 300,000,000 credits and I think I will try the Raya Hyperion Ship yard. I bought one of their ships and it seems to regenerate at a good rate. And the same goes for their space stations too. Is there any where in particular you had in mind for setting this station up? I found a space sector with 7 stars Julian. It is called Lucky Stars. Sounds fun Saya I’ll come along. I haven’t seen Raya technology and my H.S.Y. is practically running itself.
Lucky Stars
Saya has the grand hauler move into the system and deploys the kit. Soon the H.Y. is deployed. Ok Julian it’s done. Julian dock with the Dark green station. In side thing are quite different than what he thought. He and Saya take the grand tour of the space station.
Inside Massive trees are grown, Machines seem to be extracting some sort of ore from the roots of the trees. Say points out this is the Endurium farm, similar to ore but stronger. Then the ore is processed into a yellow orange steel of some kind. Saya goes along explaining to Julian that it was Tridurium similar to Nividium and that the technology uses diamond boron wafers instead of silicon. The factory makes energy cells but is mostly powered by the outer hull of the ship. They continue touring the station for a while.
When finished Saya tends to her business and Julian goes to see what ships are for sale. He finds that they are not near as fast as his ship but sees an organic hull plating enhancement and has his ship retro fitted.
By the time they are finished the head out to the rendezvous point. Nearly a hundred ships are gathered in one spot filling up the space sector. Now the Xenon and Kah’ak are dueling it out and the Xenon seem to be winning for some reason. The spy satellite is destroyed and the ships make the jump to join the fray.
War zone
The Kah’ak ship has almost no hull left. The Size of the Shard Cannon on the Xenon ship could take out a Dreadnaught in a single hit. The Kah’ak ship is quickly finished off with radiation weapons and Polonium weapons from a few Junkers and earth ships.
The ion guns start taking the rest of the Xenons Shields down. Many of the Larger ships are being blown to bits. Saya fires her Nukes into the station exposing a thermal exhaust port going into the reactor.
Julian flies into the Xenon Station and moves closer to the Reactor core. Then he fires all his weapons on the tritium storage tanks and a few shots in the fusion reactor containment vessel. Quickly Julian flies out of the station, the chain reaction destroys the Massive space station in a powerful explosion. Saya manages to jump out of the system along with Julian. Meeting at Terra Corp HQ they report the destruction of the Xenon vessel.
Elna sends some scouts to report back to the council of representatives. Once Verified the council of representatives celebrate a well earned Victory.
Saya takes Julian by the hand and leads him out on to the observation deck. Looking at the green ship she says there is my new flag ship Julian. Looks nice Saya like you. The two embrace as they look out the window to a brighter future. Then Saya and Julian get in their ships say good by and go back to work.(Of course this is the end of the Tutorial but you keep playing and making Money.)
End Notes:
The ten billion credit side quest is the only way to get all guild items. But you may change your guild if you need to and you still keep your item but you have to pay double each time. And you lose stat bonuses of the previous guild.
Litho Hyperion Ship Yards
Cost half a billion credits
The lithovore Hyperion technology is best if your in the industrial guild to increase production time since Lithos have the slowest production time known. So you make a little of everything to sell. The litho ships are made of a crystal that absorbs shard cannon rounds and micro meteorites and crystal chain gun rounds, as the ship eats it‘s hull plating increases.
They also use the space time distortions of Zero point modules to gain a 25% damage reduction and now have crystal driven shield generators. That means damage from energy blast is cut in half for a total of 75% damage reduction. The only exception is radiation guns that do bypass damage direct to the ship passing shields and defenses causing the crystal structure to break down and loose hull points. Also all ships have standard 400 speed that is only increased by the Gravic engine accelerator. Also Litho space is on your galaxy map at Litho Prime. And their technology works in even the darkest of sectors.
The ZPM of factories compensates energy cells by making as many cells as you need in production using the replicate ability of your station as well as replicating everything else. But this process is painfully slow requiring lots of time and energy. And the Litho Hyperion Ship yard is the smallest because it just utilizes five factory sections, The ZPM section and the Replicator section and the ship yard/ equipment and trade dock sections. And are about the size of 2 ship yards stacked on one another.
Litho haulers have hold sizes of 150,000
Raya Hyperion Ship Yards
Cost 300,000,000 credits
The Raya use solar organic hulls. That means the more suns in a sector the faster they heal. But Tridurium also heals their ships in dark sectors if your in a pinch. The hulls are living but store and produce energy for your ship. Your ship may make energy crystals that are equivalent to energy cells for jumps. But only when your ship is at full charge in sectors with more than 3 suns. And this eliminates the need for a reactor so all Raya Ships have bigger cargo bays.
The hull regenerates at 100 hull points per second times the number of suns. If no suns then it is 10 points per second. The Raya engines are based on a electro dynamic propulsion system so no fuel is needed to make thrust. They simply convert subspace flux into thrust. Being slower than Eldar ships their speed is usually half that of their Eldar cousins.
The Raya use shields but ion beams don’t harm the equipment inside because organics are unaffected by the type of energy used in ion weapons.
And on a note They do have a different production tree. Since they rely on solar energy and the hull plating stores energy and will make energy crystals if your sector has three or more stars. This means that instead of energy cells you use these energy crystals grown by your station. Energy crystals are small crystals of compressed energy. Also for ore you have Endurium.
Endurium is grown in high pressure domes containing a type of tree that produces this high density alloy of nutrients and metals concentrated down to the roots of the tree in balled clusters. These trees seem to manipulate subspace to collect light ions they need and use some sort of cold fusion to make larger atoms.
Silicon wafers are replaced by diamond boron wafers where plant material grown on your station is converted into Carbon monoxide. A hot flow of gas mixed with boron atoms make these exotic wafers. And micro chips made from diamond wafers are a factor of 10x gigahertz faster than silicon. Diamond wafers can be sold for a higher price (600-1000) since races prefer them to silicon but don’t have the technology to make them. Drones using diamond processors have a 20% accuracy gain and are ten percent more maneuverable. And are used to make sensors in ships more precise at longer distances. Fractal sensor cost 90,000 credits shows entire sector and auto scans all cargo as well as identifies asteroid content.
Tridurium is a refined Endurium that acts as a substitute for Nividium. The refining of Endurium makes the boron and carbon stock needed to make diamond boron wafers as well as the trace elements for the circuits. While the refining process uses magnetic warping to compress the refined material into a finished product. This is interchangeable with nividium but not as desirable and has an average price of 12,000 credits per unit and will double production time of products that use nividium but will be a slightly higher quality. On an important note the Raya Hyperion Ship Yard is smaller than the Eldar ship yard and only slightly bigger than the Litho Hyperion Ship Yard because of it’s special hull design. And is as big a 3 stacked ship yards.
Raya Haulers are big have a cargo space of 300,000
Eldar Hyperion Ship Yards
Cost 150,000,000 credits.
These ship yards make everything you need or want. The Eldar have more than double hull points and use fast antimatter engines and powerful A.M. reactors. With universal hard points of ships to equip any weapon size and shield size. The only down side is poor cargo space.
The Subspace magnets make all the ore silicon and nividium you need but work best in sectors that have all three types of asteroids. And work well in sectors with out any suns because of the antimatter reactors charging energy cells in production and have a production tree similar to the argon and earth.
The Eldar have a special energy compressor that stores enough energy to jump 200 sectors. But cost 1,000,000 credits. The recharge rate of a energy compressor is one sector jump per 2 seconds of time.
The ship yard will make energy cells and are used by sections making other goods. As the antimatter reactor only charges energy cells and an onboard energy compressor. That means you can activate shield boost to increase your shield points by 2 times or reactivate them when depleted. But this will take a 3 minutes to recharge and the effect last for 2 minutes on boost but works normally on reactivate.
Eldar ships are the fastest moving nearly 1800 speed for fighters and as fast as 500 for capital ships. And freighters move at 900.
The Eldar Hyperion ship yard is the largest because is has a micro factories for all the basic resources as well as housing the large sub space magnet and storage bays for ships and hold for materials and products. And is as large as one hub plus ship yard, mines, equipment dock and trade dock.
The Eldar Haulers are so massive that they have a storage space of 1,000,000XL
Races-
Earth:
Has a similar production tree to the Argon But instead of Stot Spice it has Spice factoires where Paprika (hot and sweet) are made and Italian herbs and spices are produced to season Prime Steaks. And farms make Triticali wheat much better than Delexian wheat as it cost less to make. And cattle farms make Angus Beef. Or basically use Earth names for things.
Earth ships are very well balanced and highly maneuverable. And will cost nearly the same as argon ships. Freighters are slightly smaller and more box or cube like. Making other races notice an earth ship right away.
Earth has good diplomacy with most all races except the kah’ak and Xenon. And a Earth Id will at least make you friendly to neutral with most races.
Earth has good production of crystals.
Argon:
Have well balanced ship only slightly less armed than the Split and tend to have bigger capital ships. Have the cheapest energy plants. And big haulers.
Boron:
Peaceful race that has been working to improve shield defense and a slight higher than average ship speed. The boron have the best farm production of races.
Split:
The spit make heavily armed ships. They have the best production of energy weapons.
Parinid:
Have the best production of Missiles and have have the most goods produced per energy used with the exception of the lost or Ancient races.
Teladi:
Have the best ore and silicon production among the main races. And their mining stations are the cheapest to buy. Their ships seem to have some of the largest cargo bays. And have the cheapest factories.
Common Engine technology
All the main races have access to the jacketed photon engine technology common to anyone that is very friendly with any race. These engines give the player a top speed of 300 regardless of the size of the ship. Based on the principle of early solar sails, it was reversed engineered to create a distributed output for a general thrust replicating the energy of sunlight on early solar cell to move a ship forward; in the compact form of an engine with magnetically warped laser photons. And a gravity engine accelerator adds 500 engine speed from terra corporation. The jacked photon engines do not use any fuel but rather 10 mega watts of power from your ship. It was a new technology shared and developed peacefully by all the races. These engines have slower than normal acceleration but can be powered by the nuclear fuel cell. And the energy drain is so low that fuel does not need to be replaced but once every billion years. It was the jacketed photon engine that was to one day replace all propulsion technology after the great war. But faster engine technology soon made it largely forgotten but it still exist standard on some ships or in upgrade kits on teladi planets and on earth, argon and on some split worlds. Paranids prefer developing an early technology that made the Pegasus go as fast as 2000 speed.
Corporations
Commercial space docks can be built by anyone. These are basically trade docks with emphasis on restraints, med centers and or recreation. Earth commerce space dock are like a trade dock providing a wide array of goods to traders but also you can go to a restaurant such as papa johns or taco bell and Mc Donald’s. Then there is the medical bay, bar, Kroger, residential apartments and so on. A player makes money from the corporations buying venues. You can even allow earth and argon companies on the same station with out any trouble. But beware of what types of companies you allow on your space station. Some move illegal goods such as space weed, or space fuel. The type of station determines what races and companies prefer the commerce station.
And will decide what residence and what race will make your stations population. Free ports are commerce stations that allow everything but crime. But any race company and pirate may dock with your station. Neutral sectors are the only places to build such a station. But on the positive side companies will pay you a rent every 20 to 30 minutes to use one of your stations venues. As venues are taken up by companies they pay rent and you can visit them and talk to the customers on gossip and news. Also residents will pay a little bit of rent. The better your venues the more rent they pay.
Poor company venues are where you put your commerce station in a dull space sector without much traffic of traders or many space stations doing business. These are usually in space sectors owned by races that are not full of development or don’t have a planet to visit.
Mild company venues come from space sectors that have good traffic moving though them but not much else.
Medium company venues come into your commerce station when it is well broadcast and has begun to get a good reputation.
Good venues are when a commerce space station is in a sector with a planet or lots of factories and trade going on. And quickly gets a good reputation.
Great venues form when you have a space sector that is neutral but is also a free port. If your Freeport becomes a tourist destination or a good trader stop for goods then it gets high paying venues from the rich that like to explore space. But a Freeport will have bad venues if it become a regular hangout in a pirate sector or in isolated space. Then it may revert to a Junker hangout, or for smugglers and maybe even pirates.
DEVOPING A SPACE SECTOR
Isolated Commerce Space docks are built in newly discovered space. Building one in an isolated sector may bring in races and companies that want to develop it into a trade sector maybe even build trade gates if it becomes a successful hot spot for trade and business. Since it starts out isolated Kah’ak and Xenon won’t move though your sector but if it gets rich enough you may have to contend with pirate activity. If there are any planets near by then a race of your choice may choose to inhabit your sector. This race may even pay you taxes based on population one credit per yazura or year.
If the population is 10,000,000 then maybe just a small percent of the population say 10% every hour. Or you earn one million credits an hour.
Planet classes
The planet will have a population capacity based on it’s class. If icy then one million tough souls may colonize it. If hot then 100,000 may brave the heat. If small then one quarter of planet class, to medium or normal to large of 50% above class to giant 100% above class of the planet.
If wet it is counted as a normal world for the boron. Or just one giant ocean. 50,000,000 boron may inhabit an ocean world as the water supports their structural construction or use organic building.
These ocean worlds gain double inhabitation if colonized by the boron.
But most races don’t like ocean or wet worlds. The Taladi may colonize a swamp worlds though to grow space weed or sunflowers to make nostrop oil. And up to 1,000,000 population.
If rocky the Split may colonized readily. Rocky worlds have mostly mountains and a atmosphere that does not support a lot of plant life. Mostly these worlds are high in minerals with a few scattered deep lakes. But these are rare finds and are perfect for growing chelt fish. 1,500,000 split may colonize the world.
The Paranid will colonize dry plains worlds or savana to grow soja plants. These worlds are rare but the soja plant will grow well as these worlds do not over water them. Paranid produce magic lit on the few oceans or shallow seas and or the small inland lakes of these otherwise dry worlds. 3,000,000 paranid.
The argon and Earth races prefer worlds that are diverse with forest, and oceans and plains. Earth like worlds are hard to find and they will pay more in taxes to colonize one of your planets. Allowing colonization of a world automatically makes you a diplomat in that you may collect a small tax, and have good reputation with the race regardless of your past dealing. Maximum is up around 100,000,000.
Ancient worlds have artifact that research institutions like. If a research decides to colonize a world in a sector you discovered you make a research fee of 100,000 credit every 5 minutes. Or you may gain better favor with a guild or ancient race. The guild will offer you free upgrades and stations as well as a small tax. Ancient races grant cheaper Hyperion ship yards and maybe to the rare Hyperion ship class.
The ancient world may also have a lost colony you may claim for your own. If so you gain a free docking ring and you gain access to the populations tech tree. Ancient planets also give better thorium production and radioactive material if your in a dark sector.
Dark sector worlds are usually icy, unless there is a brown or black dwarf making infrared radiation or the world in near a black dwarf radio star or a radio producing gas giant. Terra Corporation will gladly build a research base on such a world. But if you buy and deploy a docking ring your self. You must land on the planet build some sort of power station or outpost in build menu, this will make a corporate sector. That is the world will gain residents that pay a small rent, an companies that pay a bit of rent to place venues, and Utilities will be added by the population as your world grows and if it gets enough trade it may get a trade gate in the space sector above. Rarely a dark sector may have a rare volcanic world that is still young and cooling fast. Or one that orbit’s a gas giant. And gravity stresses the planet until it is molten in the core. Warm worlds are rare in dark sectors but seem to have oxygen nitrogen rich atmospheres, warm climate around 20 to 40 degrees Celsius. These rare planets seem to use radio synthesis of carbon dioxide or have a litho based ecosystem where oxygen is secreted by rock eating bacteria or other life. And seem to have a thermal output to sustain life from litho synthesis or by gravitational stress of some kind such as a large moon or moons. These worlds are popular for pirates and the Litho race.
The population is determined by the amount of power you can produce on such worlds or have a ZPM power plant to build an outpost to get a world started into a commerce world.
Credit Map
Credits will now have a M for millions of credits and B for billions of credits and T for trillions of credits and Q for quadrillions of credits and QN for quintillions of credits and S for sextillions of credits. Then Septillion is designated as SP and Octillion as credits followed by O. Nonillion will be N credits (4.90875N) for example designated. Then Finally Zillion’s of credits will be designated in credits followed by Z if your computers or programmers can handle this high number for doing business.

I added a little to this game concept and I will post my earlier verstion called Xenon Star.
Guilds:
Guilds are special organizations that give players some sort of bonus or access to special space factories. Guild centers are found on planets or on Guild stations in space sectors.
Types of guilds: Guild types affect ship stats, increase profit, grant special stations and increase your reputation from trade and killing pirates. To Join a guild it will cost 25,000 credits for membership. Your success in the game increases your guilds prestige. This increases what the guild will offer you later though out the game.
Specific in game Guilds:
Junkers:
They build special recycling factories, that break down waste and convert it into Duranium Armor Plating. It doubles your hull points and cost 34,000 credits for the upgrade. Duranium plants can be bought from the Junk guild for 100,000 credits where one waste and one silicon and one ore and teladianium are used to make Duranium armor plating. It requires 3 energy cells to run the production of the plant per unit made.
The Duranium upgrade is accumulative with the triple hull plating that acts like 6 hulls total.
Junker Factory ships can make most all items weapons and ships that are similar to Teladi production trees. Junker ships cost less, also hull points speed or cargo space and so on may be slightly less.
The Junker factory ships cost about 50,000,000 credits. It is a moving factory making many kinds of weapons that are smaller than those for capital ships with the exception of shard cannons and ion guns and goods. The Junker factory ships also have the ability to make and deploy mining drones. These drones mine ore and silicon and Nividium, finally thorium. Make pretty much everything but capital ships used by pirates.
The factory ships also require small amounts of rare thorium to power nuclear fuel cells. One unit of thorium will charge an equivalent of 50,000 energy cells. And does not need sunlight to work, just crystals. Nuclear fuel cells make 25MJ to 125MJ of energy each and are a rare power upgrade increasing laser firing time, engine speed, and shield recharge time. Thorium cost 5,000 credits per fuel rod, and 20,000 per nuclear fuel cell. And Power Plants in some sectors use only thorium fuel cells and crystals to make energy cells. Mainly Junkers. And Junker Sectors are mostly sectors that most races do not consider profitable from lack of sun and lack of nividium or thorium to mine. Nuclear fuel cell power plants are cheap costing 55,000 credits but require more expensive input of thorium to make energy cells and crystals. But have the advantage of working in dark sectors. And are sometimes built in pirate sectors because of the lack of sun light and have turned a good profit for entrepreneurs in dark sectors.
Junkers are found in Argon sectors and have ties to Split smuggler stations. Smugglers are a sub guild of Junkers. They have advanced cargo bay expansions that are 50% better than any other in the galaxy.
Mining Guild
They sell mining drones and Carrier class ships. These ships store fleets of mining drones so you can mine nividium and store fighter drones. They have a limited capacity to make more mining drones and defense fighters. A Mining Guild carrier is about the size of a large carrier. It can house 20 mining drones 40 fighter drones, or 20 ships freighter class with a cargo space of 15,000 and cost 18,000,000. Mining drones cost 5,000 credits and store 50 nividium, ore an silicon or thorium. Also mining guild silicon and ore mines use less energy cells by 25% and increase yield and production speed by 15%. Mining carriers will also sell minerals to traders that dock with the ship.
The mining guild special bonus up grade: Triple hull plating. Increasing your hull points by three times. You may equip Duranium hull plating twice for the inner hulls if you have a Raya hull.
Trade Guild
The trade guild makes fast freighters up to 400 speed at a 2,000 cargo bay. 300 speed at 5,000 cargo bay. Reinforced hull (150%) and shield capacity up to 125 Mega Jules to 250 MJ. All can equip mining drones or have front facing mining laser slots. Also you get an added trade bonus buying 1 credit less the price listed and sell for 1 credit extra the price listed by presenting your trade guild license at guild member owned stations. Sector Profit Share owned by the trade guild has all guild stations. And membership will attract guild members to your stations if they can get a better price than else ware in the sector.
This guild has head quarters in split space.
Law or Police Guild
Gives double the credits for killing pirates, xenon and Kah’ak and some credits for killing smugglers.
Spcecial bonus item: Laser Turrets. Make a small beam similar in power to a gamma emitter but with targeting software that points turrets always towards your target. Found In Argon Space.
Farming Guild
Increases the production of all organic material raised in factories by 30% and reduces energy cell use by 20% Note this also adds 30% heal rate of organic hulls and Raya Endurium production is increased.
Bonus: Shield Doublers- Double the protection of your shields by means of using capacitors and making double walled shields. Costing 18,900 credits.
This guild is found mainly in Boron Space.
Mechanics Guild
The mechanics Guild have access to the guilds galaxy map. This allows all pilots in the guild to see the entire collective galaxy map of guild members. Also best buys and sells locators are free to members that join the guild at guild own equipment docks.
Bonus Item: Nano Machine Canisters; these automaticly repair hull damage to a ship. Over time these nano machines are used up and need replacing. One canister can auto repair 1,000,000 in hull damage total repair capacity. Nano machine refills cost 1,000 credits
Paranid space is usually home to this guild
Survivalist Guild:
This is a guild made by the Gonars. They give free insurance to members. And you gain access to Gonar ships. Although slow even the smallest fighter has a hold space of 200XL.
Solar Guild
This guild increases energy crystal production by selling specially designed solar power plants that have solar hull plates that make tritium and have fusion reactors to increase energy cell production in addition to the usual solar arrays of traditional solar power plants. Energy crystals are interchangeable with energy cells but do not require the resources of conventional power plants. Energy condensers and Raya crystallization chambers compact energy into a solid form. Also The solar guild is the first collaborative effort for peace to all races started by the Eldar and Raya, Argon, Boron and Earth. And is accessible by everyone.
And the Solar Guild makes shield regenerators. The shield regenerator increases shield recharge rates. Costing 100,000 credits and regenerates 500 shield points per second drawing energy from your engines your speed may drop by 25%. The negative effects of the shield regenerator are nullified by solar hull plates. The Solar Guild also makes solar hull plating that is made mostly of silicon and ore with nividium as a second resource. The solar hull plating acts to reduce energy weapon damage by 25%. And will make Tritium fuel at a rate of one tritium per one minute per sun and doubling in production per sun. This guild is found only in solar sectors. This guild is only available after the tutorial.
Industrial Guild
All factories have a production speed cut by 10%. Later you can buy the factory production software mk1 that cuts time ban an additional 20% and FPS MK2 by 20% reduction in manufacturing time and the MK3 software reduces it by 20% all accumulative stats. Mk1 starts at 30,000 credits and doubles for each software mark number.
Fusion ship overhaul: This includes the fusion reactor upgrade adds 200 Mega Jules of energy to your ship and a shield expander that allows the equipping of at least 25MJ shield regardless of your ships sizes as the fusion reactors are so small you gain cargo space. But be warned your ship will use tritium fuel.
Fusion Engines have better speed and are used with the fusion reactor upgrade increasing your ships speed by 300 to 500 depending on size.
Ram scoops are devices that allow the fusion ship overhaul to work. They make tritium fusion fuel for your ship in solar sectors. Fuel drops at a rate of 1 unit of fuel per distance of 900,000 meters in dark sectors. If you have a ram scope and at least one sun in your current space sector; it will gain 1 unit of fuel per minute for one sun, and half that time for 2 suns and 20 seconds for 1 Unit of fuel and 4 is 15 seconds for 1unit of fuel. And 10 seconds for 5 stars and 5 seconds for 6 stars. Also note: when your fuel is depleted you will still move but at one quarter speed on Helium ions stored in your ion fuel tank that has a range of 15 sectors. IF You Run Out Of Fuel You Will Have To Ask Other Pilots For Help Or For More Fuel. Some may sell you some fuel until you get to a breeder plant or a solar sector.
Tritium will cost 500 credits but your excess tritium can be sold for profit. And it takes up only 1 small cargo space for 100 units of fuel.
The Fusion Ship over haul is modified when you buy solar hull plats or organic armor. Thorium Fuel cells add power and take up more room but you may expand your shield slot to 125 mega joules. And the fusion ship overhaul is non transferable. There are also other ship overhauls. But once you buy organic armor you no longer need a fusion reactor. And your cargo bay is increased. Fusion engines simply consume tritium.
Fusion Power Plants:
Fusion Power Plants: cost 1,000,000 credits and consume Tritium fuel at a cost of 500 credits for one unit of fuel. Since Tritium can only be bought on planets or made in Thorium breeder Fission reactors or collected by ships with ram scoops or collected by solar hull plates. These power plants will charge at least 50,000 energy cells per unit of tritium, Also if your in the solar guild you can buy the solar hull upgrade so it will collect tritium in any solar sector.
Dark Sectors: sectors without suns:
There are many new sectors many without any suns. These sectors have little trade or are isolated so the races that inhabit these sectors had to come up with an alternative energy rather than rely on slow delivery of energy cells from solar power plants 2 or more sectors away or completely isolated by only using a jump drive.
Breeder Nuclear Power Plants: make energy cells and tritium consuming only thorium fuel rods and crystals. They cost 1,000,000 credits and can be bought at Earth Ship yards or Pirate ship yards since only governments from the other races are allowed to own such plants. For each thorium fuel rod 15,000 energy cells are charged up and 5 units of tritium fuel are produced and 2 units of uranium (you can sell uranium at 7,500 on black market or to planets and government run space stations that use it) to keep the reactor going; finally one unit of waste.
Nuclear waste can be made into Duranium hull plating. This makes your armor more resistant to micro meteorites and chain gun ammo.
The ionized waste cannon uses one unit of waste per 10 shots. 100 hull damage is done plus 10 hull points per second if the hull is vulnerable to radiation but the cloud last only 10 seconds enveloping your entire enemy in a cloud of radiation. The guns are used by Smugglers which are highly illegal. So a police license is required as well as a good reputation with the governments of other races. Other wise a police ship may ask you to jettison your weapon and start firing if you don’t. Ionized waste cannons are most effective against Litho hulls followed by organic hulls especially the Kah‘ak. The radiation seems to bypass shields. And cost a pilot 500,000 credits.
The Argon and industry guild Makes Fusion Power Plants: They charge 50,000 energy cells from just one unit of tritium and a few crystals. These plants are used only in sectors with thorium or ones that have no suns what so ever. And since pirates have gone into the energy business and after the great war, attacks of any kind on your self or stations are extremely rare about once a week of game play in real time.
Unless you go to options game setting and set pirate activity up from 0-10 since they are not as strong as the other two. Xenon activity from 0-5, and Kah’ak activity 0-2, since they have a new supper weapons.
Dark sectors may not have any suns but usually have thorium, nividium, ore and silicon. Thorium being rare it is found on a very few asteroids and nividium is only more rare. But planets produce good amounts of thorium and is about as common as silver. The sectors without suns some times have planets lit up like a jewel from space because of the need of constant lighting these cities never seem to sleep.
But the point of using fusion, or Thorium fuel cell plants is to avoid the need to import energy cells into sectors with out suns that are 15 sectors away from any sun. The same goes for Thorium Breeders but the excess uranium is used to make nukes. If you just happen to be in a dark sector with out a sun but with an ice world that has water and thorium and a docking ring. You can buy the water to breed tritium for fusion plants and us thorium in the breeder station so you can keep fusion power plants going. But if you use Uranium in a nuclear fuel cell the cell doubles in power. And quadruples production speed of energy cells in Nuclear fuel cell plants.
But this whole energy racket is one concocted to make more credits. And the nuclear fuel cell, fusion and breeder power plants have a faster production time than solar power plants in on sun sectors. For example a Fuel cell plant is as fast as a solar plant in a sector with 4 suns, breeders are about as good as a solar plant in a sector with 3 sun production speed wise; finally a fusion power plant is as fast as a solar power plant is a sector with at least five suns.
The best thing about Dark Sectors are usualy excellent ore, high silicon and good nividium, and some thorium. Although Pirates and few races dare to enter dark sectors they are mostly deserted and isolated.
ISOLATED SECTORS:
Isolated sectors are only found from random jumps. The draw back is you have to use jump drives for your freighters to sell your surplus goods, but your left all alone in isolated sectors. Special Trade software Mk jump trade allows freighter to auto trade while jumping x number of sectors away to sell and buy goods to make profit. The freighters do better with energy condensers.
Antimatter ship Overhaul: Made by the Eldar allows you to keep your current ship, is identical to Fusion ship overhaul except Antimatter reactors make 500MJ of energy, better shield expansion, Faster Antimatter engine speed and consumes antimatter at a rate of 1unit per 100,000,000 meters of space traveled. Antimatter is made by the reactors. It is made in small quantities only to keep your ship going and is self sustaining.
The Electro dynamic ship upgrade adds Raya technology to your ship. You gain an organic hull and a electro dynamic engine. Engine speed varies from 900 to 300 depending on your ship size. The Litho home world sell ZPM upgrades to allow your ship to work well in any light and to fire any weapon size. Fighters are limited one to two capital ship weapons, and one CSW per ship class.
Characters development:
You can now choose your character hair color, clothes, and race gender so on in the non story game and choose what your character is, trader, Merchant that owns a factory, pirate, police, smuggler, explorer. If you do go to story mode the best you can do is choose what Saya or Julian wear and hair style. How many credits starting from 10,000 to 1,000,000 and both default with a fighter starting. Or just choose freestyle as you choose race gender and guild.
The explorer has a fast ship with large cargo bay to store energy cells. You also start with 1,000,000 credits and a solar power plant In George Washington Memorial an earth sector with 5 suns, a ship yard, asteroids containing nividium, ore and silicon and mines, and crystal fabs and an equipment dock. You also start with a jump drive and jump drive randomizer but get paid by terra corp 6,000 credits for each new sector discovered.
Tutorial Story
Intro:
After the great war between the Kah’ak and the Xenon Julian discovered a large Kha'ak factory that was deserted. It was discovered that they used nividium and space flies to grow their ships. The space flies made the ships go and the nividium provided the food to keep the ships alive and feed brains that controlled the ships. Killing the brain released the ship from Kah’ak control.
An experiment showed a weakness in the Kha'ak to radiation. So Terra Corp with the help of earth used magnetic warping to make ultra dense bismuth 209. This was made into a bullet shape and encased in resonate crystal on all sides but the back leaving a small hole in the crystal. An Alpha emitter was used to propel the bullet but also breed the bismuth 209 into highly radioactive polonium 210. This caused 7,000 hull damage to a heavy Kha'ak fighter.
By the time Julian tested the weapon it had been a month after the war and the Kha'ak and Xenon were virtually eliminated from the galaxy trying to defend what few space sectors they still inhabited. It was assumed that the link the xenon had to earth was the cause of the great war.
Discovery
While on Titan, in the sol system a scientist was working on some Ancient ruins from an unknown civilization. His name was Harry Graves. While he searched the old computer data banks of the lost city a galactic map was discovered that showed most of the known universe and more than 500,000 space sectors and one million stars. Immediately he called Earth to report his discovery.
A battle cruiser was sent out from Jupiter prime only to be lost forever. A distress signal was sent out by Harry Graves; “Help! Pirates are here. They got copy of galaxy map. Plan to go into Xenon space steal something from their home world” cutting out.
Julian was sent out to the Xenon home sector around the planet Terran Destiny the first world the Xenon colonized and became independent. While exploring this sector Xenon ships lay in ruins, space stations were destroyed. The home world was decimated from orbital bombardment by nuclear weapons.
Landing on the planet the data module recovered shows pirate ships and the pirates searching the ruble until they got what they were looking for. Some sort of new weapon looking like chain gun but larger only three barrels of large size and large crystals about one third meter long by 20 centimeters diameter
Treasure Trove
The data from the Xenon home world revealed a large pirate fleet, it also gave the locations of all former Xenon and Kah’ak space. There was a video clip of a new Kha'ak weapon that looked like a large resonate transformer. The Kak used to drain the shields of Xenon ships in seconds. It did not bounce from ship to ship but was more concentrated to a single ship. Some sort of new ion weapon.
Julian at Earth Base One. Walks into the Admirals office. The pirate ships were too numerous and well equipped. A force of 6 carriers 2 dreadnaughts and 3 battle ships with fighters, drones and nukes. They Must be from Black Beards Horde the pirate planet in the Treasure Trove space sector. Julian, see what you can find out. Be careful the system has radioactive asteroids containing thorium and no sun. It is the ideal spot for a surprise attack.
Going through the sectors Julian gets a message from Saya Kole. Hey Julian Terra corp has a new Gravic Drive Accelerator and it’s yours if you let me come along. Julian, that sounds like a deal, but I have to scout out Treasure Trove think you can make it quick. Saya: Sure I can jump to your location and install it into your ship.
Encounter
It had been about 3 weeks since they had departed on business. And both seemed happy to see one another again. Saya pulls into transporter range and installs the new component. Ok Julian your all set.
Great now let’s see what this thing can do. Immediately his ship is at top speed and accelerating to nearly double his ships speed. Saya pulls along side by him; keep up if you can. Both race to get to treasure trove. Saya in her paranid Gargant beats him into the sector.
That was fun Saya, Picking up anything on your scanner. No But there is the planetary docking ring. Yeah and it is full of pirates just waiting to do who knows what. I’m getting incoming message. Pilotss thisss iss Taladie Captain Sspeaking. Pleasse land on planet. You may call me Ix.
Should we trust him Saya asked. Julian thinks a moment. It couldn’t hurt. They both land on the pirate world and walk into a strange apartment fitted out more like a drone command center. They see a monster of a ship destroying the Pirate fleet. The taladie gives them the galaxy map. Take this Map it is a copy of the one I stole. All I want in payment is revenge the teladie hisses.
New objectives.
The two both head to EB one. The Admiral contacts Argon prime and Terra Corp in the briefing room. Sharing the information they found Three new races were found. Julian and Saya must now enlist the aid of the ancient races if they still exist or not.
Saya fills Julian in on the Mars Teraforming project to make it the same size as earth using asteroids and moons. The atmosphere was to be regenerated from CO2 from Venus and Nitrogen from titan. It will cost 10,000,000,000 credits. Julian whistles that is a lot of money. Elna calls them. So has Saya Informed you of our project.
Julian replies yes but how on earth are you going to get all the credits for that? Elna replies I had hoped to delegate that to you and Saya. Great, now all we need to do is win big in the lottery. Well if we find a way to come up with the money you be the first to know. Saya; Mom maybe the new races discovered in the Titan city data base could help. If they have advanced technology they could help us.
Elna approves Stay with Julian, If the races do have advance technology see if you can get better ships and factories to help complete the Mars Mission And try to build fleets that can stop this new threat.
Fight
This is Admiral Cartwright; Julian I have prepared new polonium cannons for you and Saya. I am having them teleported to your ships along with ammo. Ahead is a large Kah’ak fighter. See how the new weapons work.
Julian; The Kah’ak must want to stop us from finding the lost Races. Sure looks like it Julian Saya Replies. This is the Behemoth, Captain Arden speaking, I will launch fighters immediately to assist you. The Kah’ak turns on the large dreadnaut. Shields depleting rapidly. In a burst of energy the ships shields are down and is blown to dust.
It’s just a single Kak fighter. But it seems to be using some sort of new weapon. Saya: I’m on it. Firing the Polonium guns the ships hp drops near Zero. Suddenly the ship explodes leaving debris of space flies and nividium along with a strange new kah’ak weapon.
Julian using the new teleporter system beams it aboard his ship. Admiral, We have a kak gun to study. Fine Julian, Bring it to Jupiter Prime, Terra Corp has a new research station near the Radio belt of Jupiter. Saya cuts in; I know that base, It’s where the new Terra Corp Radio Power converter is being developed. Julian then follows Saya to the research station.
The Jump
While on the Research station they equip their ships with jump drive and or jump drive randomizers and load an energy cell recharge software. Elna the following equipment should get you to the nearest jump point 150 sectors away. How do we make contact Saya asks.
The old data indicates access codes to be transmitted to sector stations. They should reply after it has been given. Ok down loading the codes now. They both leave the station to jump to the sector. Oh by the way Julian I have joined the Industry guild. The factories I have in Argon prime are really paying off. I think you should join a guild also. Ok I will work on that as soon as I can. (This is a spot during the guild side quest to make some credits.)
After Making 50,000,000+ credits Julian decides to Join the Junker Guild and buy a factory ship. Using automated soft ware Julian sets up his factory ship in George Washington Memorial. The system with some of the best potential for making credits. Bordering the system are Earth, Argon, Boron, Paranid, Split and Teladi sectors. The junkers have the advantage of the Smuggler Sub Guild too. Saya and Julian Head to the newly discovered sector after making 150,000,000 credits.

It is a second sector but has a gate leading to your destination.
Sounds Great Ix Saya Comments. Ok here we go to Valor Pride. They all make the 25 sector jump. It is a sector with 3 suns lots of asteroids with ore, silicon, nividium and Split and Paranid, Argon, Boron, and Taladie space stations. Saya comes in: this sector was developed peacefully. Ix : The Gate is hidden inside an Asteroid. Julian; inside an asteroid that sounds crazy. Saya well we’ve come this far might as well check it out.
First contact
Then flying to the edge of the asteroids is a gigantic asteroid about the size of the moon. There is large cave in the back. Carefully maneuvering past the stalactites and stalagmites they reach the inner core. Saya all struck by the beauty of strange crystals and what appears to be an abandoned city; would you guys look at this place. Hidden for who knows how long. Ix comes in; up ahead is the gate. Centered at the core they fly into the lost gate.
That went smoothly Saya Julian comments. I’m glad we made it; she replies I am checking our coordinates now. Okay verified. Julian; ok lets start transmitting the codes and hope they work.
Suddenly A Xenon Battle Ship jumps in front of them and a Kah’ak cluster start fighting. Ix, See if you can take out the Xenon Shard Cannons. I will take out the Kak’s lead fighter from the cluster Julian commands. I’ll keep broadcasting the codes in hopes of calling for help.
The Kah’ak cluster breaks up, unconcerned about Julian and Ix or Saya they fight each other. The Kah’ak bring down the Xenon’s shields, but most of the hull points on the kah’ak ships are gone and many of the small fighters are taken out. Julian manages to take out the lead Kak. Ix launches most of his missiles on the Xenon ship getting it’s hull points down to half. Then the Xenon Target Ix His ship is destroyed.
Saya stops transmitting: There here. Large dreadnaught class ships enter the fight with fighters moving faster than any of them have seen. The Kah’ak and Xenon are destroyed.
Diplomacy
Saya and Julian are Hailed by the strange fast ships. This is Captain Delron of the Eldar ship Nexion. Please land your ships on the planet below a docking ring has been deployed.
The fast ships and fighters escort the two pilots to the planetary docking ring and land on the plant. They are met by armed guards. They all have fair skin and pointed ears but look mostly human. A man in uniform asks politely to follow him.
They walk up to a huge palace ornate in a classical style. Huge doors swing open and walk through the great hall full of trimmed trees looking very ancient. Then up the red carpet into the throne room of King Hyperius of the Eldar. Welcome strangers the king greets them kindly. I am King Hyperius of the Eldar I wish to ask how you found us and why you have come.
Saya steps forward, If you please your majesty I have a data pad with all the information that would answer your questions. A guard takes the pad and plugs it into a projector. Images of a some super weapon appears on the massive wall as well as the galaxy map they found and images of the lost city on titan.
Pleasantries
Well it seems you found our lost cities. We were attacked by the Kah’ak and had lost our outpost. They have been our foe for many eons the king comments gladly. If you would join us I would like to discuss more about our people and to ask more questions.
Saya eagerly accepts and Julian goes along with it. It isn’t everyday one gets to dine with royalty. They sat at the table for a few long hours talking. The king decides; in light of this information I give you the option of buying our Hyperion ship Yard. It will cost you 150,000,000 credits but you can build all ship classes and it produces it’s own ore, silicon, nividium and pretty much everything one of your factory hubs makes. Plus our ships are faster using antimatter technology. And it makes all weapons so it always has stock. The Kah’ak and Xenon have been after our Subspace scanner technology for some time.
It produces most of our resources by extracting them from subspace fluxes. Our friends and allies the Raya once lived on our home world but chose to develop their organic technology. They believe that the sun is life. We however chose the path of technology.
We know of one other race of litho-vore. They consume rocks and minerals and treat gold as candy. They subsist off the energy of space time to power some sort of replicator technology to make what they need. They even seem immortal for the 1,000 years I have lived Their ruler is nearly 100 times that.
Julian; can you give us an introduction to these new races? Maybe but it will take a while. I will see what I can do. Saya looks a Julian; I have an idea. Your Majesty would you kindly allow a Hauler to move the Ship yard to these coordinates? Valor Pride sector well I can see why you would need help transporting the factory there. Fine it will be transported free all that remains is the initial charge when you leave the ship yard kit will be loaded on a huller ready to make the jump the king says presently. Julian look at the king : Thank you your Majesty we will depart immediately.
Valor Pride
Moving to the cent of the space sector Julian Tells the Captain to assemble the kit here. Saya comment this is a good spot Julian right above the central trade lane. The trade lane is a level path of the trade gate the ships use to move in and out of space sectors if they don’t have jump drives.
Saya begins leaving the space sector. Julian I am going out on my own to make some credits. I have a few factories I need to check on. When are you coming back Julian asks. Oh just about a week or so. That should give you the time to make the credits. Besides I want my own Hyperion ship yard. God speed Saya Julian wishes her good luck.
Julian dock with his new space station and set the advertising to with in 100 space sectors. Ships start moving in buying nividium and ore and silicon, wheat, beef and weapons, shields and a few ships even energy cells. It sure is convenient to have a all in one factory. It seems it won’t take as long as I thought it would to get the credits. Julian gets one of the newer and better Eldar ships. It has great hull strength as well as speed shields and fire power. But the cargo hold needs some expanding. Transferring his jump drive and equipment to the new ship he jumps to a Smuggler sector called Warrior’s Triumph.
Split Sector
After the jump he is in the split sector there are equipment docks and a Smuggler space station. The largest known station in the universe it has the best cargo bay expansion available.
Thanks to being part of the Junkers Guild Julian has a good enough reputation to trade with the station. He soon has his ship out fitted with a much larger cargo bay and begins to head back when he receives a new transmission.
Julian thank goodness I found you. The massive ship attacked again. This time in split space. It was a military sector so no civilians were hurt. Meet us back on Terra Corp headquarters Saya says relieved.
Julian jumps to their location. He notices that he hasn’t needed to use the Sata time accelerator to speed his ship up. It is going nearly 2300 with the Gavic engine accelerator. With the sata on it would be like moving at 23000 at times ten, reckless to try.
Briefing
The major races gathered into Terra Corp Head Quarters, representatives from Earth, Argon, Boron, Parinid, Split and Teladie all gathered around the table of the conference room. Then representatives from Eldar, Raya, and Litho show up.
Elna presides over a presentation showing the attack in split space. As you can see here the ship is nearly the size of planet Mercury. There are a few thermal hot spots so it must be nuclear powered.
Also it appears to us some sort Kah’ak drive system but is some sort of Xenon Construction. It was discovered that Xenon were studying Kak technology. And the ship yard the make the massive ship appears to have been attacked by the Kah’ak. What is worse the Kah’ak have made a new planet destroying ship.
By out estimated calculations the two with meet and converge in sector Alpha Centauri in three weeks. No matter who wins we will have to defeat the remaining ships. The delegates talk about the battle plane to take out the massive ships and to assemble a battle fleet larger than any ever known.
Saya walks out followed by Julian. Saya where are you going Julian asks in an anxious tone. Oh I was just going to get my own ship yard. I have 300,000,000 credits and I think I will try the Raya Hyperion Ship yard. I bought one of their ships and it seems to regenerate at a good rate. And the same goes for their space stations too. Is there any where in particular you had in mind for setting this station up? I found a space sector with 7 stars Julian. It is called Lucky Stars. Sounds fun Saya I’ll come along. I haven’t seen Raya technology and my H.S.Y. is practically running itself.
Lucky Stars
Saya has the grand hauler move into the system and deploys the kit. Soon the H.Y. is deployed. Ok Julian it’s done. Julian dock with the Dark green station. In side thing are quite different than what he thought. He and Saya take the grand tour of the space station.
Inside Massive trees are grown, Machines seem to be extracting some sort of ore from the roots of the trees. Say points out this is the Endurium farm, similar to ore but stronger. Then the ore is processed into a yellow orange steel of some kind. Saya goes along explaining to Julian that it was Tridurium similar to Nividium and that the technology uses diamond boron wafers instead of silicon. The factory makes energy cells but is mostly powered by the outer hull of the ship. They continue touring the station for a while.
When finished Saya tends to her business and Julian goes to see what ships are for sale. He finds that they are not near as fast as his ship but sees an organic hull plating enhancement and has his ship retro fitted.
By the time they are finished the head out to the rendezvous point. Nearly a hundred ships are gathered in one spot filling up the space sector. Now the Xenon and Kah’ak are dueling it out and the Xenon seem to be winning for some reason. The spy satellite is destroyed and the ships make the jump to join the fray.
War zone
The Kah’ak ship has almost no hull left. The Size of the Shard Cannon on the Xenon ship could take out a Dreadnaught in a single hit. The Kah’ak ship is quickly finished off with radiation weapons and Polonium weapons from a few Junkers and earth ships.
The ion guns start taking the rest of the Xenons Shields down. Many of the Larger ships are being blown to bits. Saya fires her Nukes into the station exposing a thermal exhaust port going into the reactor.
Julian flies into the Xenon Station and moves closer to the Reactor core. Then he fires all his weapons on the tritium storage tanks and a few shots in the fusion reactor containment vessel. Quickly Julian flies out of the station, the chain reaction destroys the Massive space station in a powerful explosion. Saya manages to jump out of the system along with Julian. Meeting at Terra Corp HQ they report the destruction of the Xenon vessel.
Elna sends some scouts to report back to the council of representatives. Once Verified the council of representatives celebrate a well earned Victory.
Saya takes Julian by the hand and leads him out on to the observation deck. Looking at the green ship she says there is my new flag ship Julian. Looks nice Saya like you. The two embrace as they look out the window to a brighter future. Then Saya and Julian get in their ships say good by and go back to work.(Of course this is the end of the Tutorial but you keep playing and making Money.)

The ten billion credit side quest is the only way to get all guild items. But you may change your guild if you need to and you still keep your item but you have to pay double each time. And you lose stat bonuses of the previous guild.
Litho Hyperion Ship Yards
Cost half a billion credits
The lithovore Hyperion technology is best if your in the industrial guild to increase production time since Lithos have the slowest production time known. So you make a little of everything to sell. The litho ships are made of a crystal that absorbs shard cannon rounds and micro meteorites and crystal chain gun rounds, as the ship eats it‘s hull plating increases.
They also use the space time distortions of Zero point modules to gain a 25% damage reduction and now have crystal driven shield generators. That means damage from energy blast is cut in half for a total of 75% damage reduction. The only exception is radiation guns that do bypass damage direct to the ship passing shields and defenses causing the crystal structure to break down and loose hull points. Also all ships have standard 400 speed that is only increased by the Gravic engine accelerator. Also Litho space is on your galaxy map at Litho Prime. And their technology works in even the darkest of sectors.
The ZPM of factories compensates energy cells by making as many cells as you need in production using the replicate ability of your station as well as replicating everything else. But this process is painfully slow requiring lots of time and energy. And the Litho Hyperion Ship yard is the smallest because it just utilizes five factory sections, The ZPM section and the Replicator section and the ship yard/ equipment and trade dock sections. And are about the size of 2 ship yards stacked on one another.
Litho haulers have hold sizes of 150,000
Raya Hyperion Ship Yards
Cost 300,000,000 credits
The Raya use solar organic hulls. That means the more suns in a sector the faster they heal. But Tridurium also heals their ships in dark sectors if your in a pinch. The hulls are living but store and produce energy for your ship. Your ship may make energy crystals that are equivalent to energy cells for jumps. But only when your ship is at full charge in sectors with more than 3 suns. And this eliminates the need for a reactor so all Raya Ships have bigger cargo bays.
The hull regenerates at 100 hull points per second times the number of suns. If no suns then it is 10 points per second. The Raya engines are based on a electro dynamic propulsion system so no fuel is needed to make thrust. They simply convert subspace flux into thrust. Being slower than Eldar ships their speed is usually half that of their Eldar cousins.
The Raya use shields but ion beams don’t harm the equipment inside because organics are unaffected by the type of energy used in ion weapons.
And on a note They do have a different production tree. Since they rely on solar energy and the hull plating stores energy and will make energy crystals if your sector has three or more stars. This means that instead of energy cells you use these energy crystals grown by your station. Energy crystals are small crystals of compressed energy. Also for ore you have Endurium.
Endurium is grown in high pressure domes containing a type of tree that produces this high density alloy of nutrients and metals concentrated down to the roots of the tree in balled clusters. These trees seem to manipulate subspace to collect light ions they need and use some sort of cold fusion to make larger atoms.
Silicon wafers are replaced by diamond boron wafers where plant material grown on your station is converted into Carbon monoxide. A hot flow of gas mixed with boron atoms make these exotic wafers. And micro chips made from diamond wafers are a factor of 10x gigahertz faster than silicon. Diamond wafers can be sold for a higher price (600-1000) since races prefer them to silicon but don’t have the technology to make them. Drones using diamond processors have a 20% accuracy gain and are ten percent more maneuverable. And are used to make sensors in ships more precise at longer distances. Fractal sensor cost 90,000 credits shows entire sector and auto scans all cargo as well as identifies asteroid content.
Tridurium is a refined Endurium that acts as a substitute for Nividium. The refining of Endurium makes the boron and carbon stock needed to make diamond boron wafers as well as the trace elements for the circuits. While the refining process uses magnetic warping to compress the refined material into a finished product. This is interchangeable with nividium but not as desirable and has an average price of 12,000 credits per unit and will double production time of products that use nividium but will be a slightly higher quality. On an important note the Raya Hyperion Ship Yard is smaller than the Eldar ship yard and only slightly bigger than the Litho Hyperion Ship Yard because of it’s special hull design. And is as big a 3 stacked ship yards.
Raya Haulers are big have a cargo space of 300,000
Eldar Hyperion Ship Yards
Cost 150,000,000 credits.
These ship yards make everything you need or want. The Eldar have more than double hull points and use fast antimatter engines and powerful A.M. reactors. With universal hard points of ships to equip any weapon size and shield size. The only down side is poor cargo space.
The Subspace magnets make all the ore silicon and nividium you need but work best in sectors that have all three types of asteroids. And work well in sectors with out any suns because of the antimatter reactors charging energy cells in production and have a production tree similar to the argon and earth.
The Eldar have a special energy compressor that stores enough energy to jump 200 sectors. But cost 1,000,000 credits. The recharge rate of a energy compressor is one sector jump per 2 seconds of time.
The ship yard will make energy cells and are used by sections making other goods. As the antimatter reactor only charges energy cells and an onboard energy compressor. That means you can activate shield boost to increase your shield points by 2 times or reactivate them when depleted. But this will take a 3 minutes to recharge and the effect last for 2 minutes on boost but works normally on reactivate.
Eldar ships are the fastest moving nearly 1800 speed for fighters and as fast as 500 for capital ships. And freighters move at 900.
The Eldar Hyperion ship yard is the largest because is has a micro factories for all the basic resources as well as housing the large sub space magnet and storage bays for ships and hold for materials and products. And is as large as one hub plus ship yard, mines, equipment dock and trade dock.
The Eldar Haulers are so massive that they have a storage space of 1,000,000XL
Races-
Earth:
Has a similar production tree to the Argon But instead of Stot Spice it has Spice factoires where Paprika (hot and sweet) are made and Italian herbs and spices are produced to season Prime Steaks. And farms make Triticali wheat much better than Delexian wheat as it cost less to make. And cattle farms make Angus Beef. Or basically use Earth names for things.
Earth ships are very well balanced and highly maneuverable. And will cost nearly the same as argon ships. Freighters are slightly smaller and more box or cube like. Making other races notice an earth ship right away.
Earth has good diplomacy with most all races except the kah’ak and Xenon. And a Earth Id will at least make you friendly to neutral with most races.
Earth has good production of crystals.
Argon:
Have well balanced ship only slightly less armed than the Split and tend to have bigger capital ships. Have the cheapest energy plants. And big haulers.
Boron:
Peaceful race that has been working to improve shield defense and a slight higher than average ship speed. The boron have the best farm production of races.
Split:
The spit make heavily armed ships. They have the best production of energy weapons.
Parinid:
Have the best production of Missiles and have have the most goods produced per energy used with the exception of the lost or Ancient races.
Teladi:
Have the best ore and silicon production among the main races. And their mining stations are the cheapest to buy. Their ships seem to have some of the largest cargo bays. And have the cheapest factories.
Common Engine technology
All the main races have access to the jacketed photon engine technology common to anyone that is very friendly with any race. These engines give the player a top speed of 300 regardless of the size of the ship. Based on the principle of early solar sails, it was reversed engineered to create a distributed output for a general thrust replicating the energy of sunlight on early solar cell to move a ship forward; in the compact form of an engine with magnetically warped laser photons. And a gravity engine accelerator adds 500 engine speed from terra corporation. The jacked photon engines do not use any fuel but rather 10 mega watts of power from your ship. It was a new technology shared and developed peacefully by all the races. These engines have slower than normal acceleration but can be powered by the nuclear fuel cell. And the energy drain is so low that fuel does not need to be replaced but once every billion years. It was the jacketed photon engine that was to one day replace all propulsion technology after the great war. But faster engine technology soon made it largely forgotten but it still exist standard on some ships or in upgrade kits on teladi planets and on earth, argon and on some split worlds. Paranids prefer developing an early technology that made the Pegasus go as fast as 2000 speed.
Corporations
Commercial space docks can be built by anyone. These are basically trade docks with emphasis on restraints, med centers and or recreation. Earth commerce space dock are like a trade dock providing a wide array of goods to traders but also you can go to a restaurant such as papa johns or taco bell and Mc Donald’s. Then there is the medical bay, bar, Kroger, residential apartments and so on. A player makes money from the corporations buying venues. You can even allow earth and argon companies on the same station with out any trouble. But beware of what types of companies you allow on your space station. Some move illegal goods such as space weed, or space fuel. The type of station determines what races and companies prefer the commerce station.
And will decide what residence and what race will make your stations population. Free ports are commerce stations that allow everything but crime. But any race company and pirate may dock with your station. Neutral sectors are the only places to build such a station. But on the positive side companies will pay you a rent every 20 to 30 minutes to use one of your stations venues. As venues are taken up by companies they pay rent and you can visit them and talk to the customers on gossip and news. Also residents will pay a little bit of rent. The better your venues the more rent they pay.
Poor company venues are where you put your commerce station in a dull space sector without much traffic of traders or many space stations doing business. These are usually in space sectors owned by races that are not full of development or don’t have a planet to visit.
Mild company venues come from space sectors that have good traffic moving though them but not much else.
Medium company venues come into your commerce station when it is well broadcast and has begun to get a good reputation.
Good venues are when a commerce space station is in a sector with a planet or lots of factories and trade going on. And quickly gets a good reputation.
Great venues form when you have a space sector that is neutral but is also a free port. If your Freeport becomes a tourist destination or a good trader stop for goods then it gets high paying venues from the rich that like to explore space. But a Freeport will have bad venues if it become a regular hangout in a pirate sector or in isolated space. Then it may revert to a Junker hangout, or for smugglers and maybe even pirates.
DEVOPING A SPACE SECTOR
Isolated Commerce Space docks are built in newly discovered space. Building one in an isolated sector may bring in races and companies that want to develop it into a trade sector maybe even build trade gates if it becomes a successful hot spot for trade and business. Since it starts out isolated Kah’ak and Xenon won’t move though your sector but if it gets rich enough you may have to contend with pirate activity. If there are any planets near by then a race of your choice may choose to inhabit your sector. This race may even pay you taxes based on population one credit per yazura or year.
If the population is 10,000,000 then maybe just a small percent of the population say 10% every hour. Or you earn one million credits an hour.
Planet classes
The planet will have a population capacity based on it’s class. If icy then one million tough souls may colonize it. If hot then 100,000 may brave the heat. If small then one quarter of planet class, to medium or normal to large of 50% above class to giant 100% above class of the planet.
If wet it is counted as a normal world for the boron. Or just one giant ocean. 50,000,000 boron may inhabit an ocean world as the water supports their structural construction or use organic building.
These ocean worlds gain double inhabitation if colonized by the boron.
But most races don’t like ocean or wet worlds. The Taladi may colonize a swamp worlds though to grow space weed or sunflowers to make nostrop oil. And up to 1,000,000 population.
If rocky the Split may colonized readily. Rocky worlds have mostly mountains and a atmosphere that does not support a lot of plant life. Mostly these worlds are high in minerals with a few scattered deep lakes. But these are rare finds and are perfect for growing chelt fish. 1,500,000 split may colonize the world.
The Paranid will colonize dry plains worlds or savana to grow soja plants. These worlds are rare but the soja plant will grow well as these worlds do not over water them. Paranid produce magic lit on the few oceans or shallow seas and or the small inland lakes of these otherwise dry worlds. 3,000,000 paranid.
The argon and Earth races prefer worlds that are diverse with forest, and oceans and plains. Earth like worlds are hard to find and they will pay more in taxes to colonize one of your planets. Allowing colonization of a world automatically makes you a diplomat in that you may collect a small tax, and have good reputation with the race regardless of your past dealing. Maximum is up around 100,000,000.
Ancient worlds have artifact that research institutions like. If a research decides to colonize a world in a sector you discovered you make a research fee of 100,000 credit every 5 minutes. Or you may gain better favor with a guild or ancient race. The guild will offer you free upgrades and stations as well as a small tax. Ancient races grant cheaper Hyperion ship yards and maybe to the rare Hyperion ship class.
The ancient world may also have a lost colony you may claim for your own. If so you gain a free docking ring and you gain access to the populations tech tree. Ancient planets also give better thorium production and radioactive material if your in a dark sector.
Dark sector worlds are usually icy, unless there is a brown or black dwarf making infrared radiation or the world in near a black dwarf radio star or a radio producing gas giant. Terra Corporation will gladly build a research base on such a world. But if you buy and deploy a docking ring your self. You must land on the planet build some sort of power station or outpost in build menu, this will make a corporate sector. That is the world will gain residents that pay a small rent, an companies that pay a bit of rent to place venues, and Utilities will be added by the population as your world grows and if it gets enough trade it may get a trade gate in the space sector above. Rarely a dark sector may have a rare volcanic world that is still young and cooling fast. Or one that orbit’s a gas giant. And gravity stresses the planet until it is molten in the core. Warm worlds are rare in dark sectors but seem to have oxygen nitrogen rich atmospheres, warm climate around 20 to 40 degrees Celsius. These rare planets seem to use radio synthesis of carbon dioxide or have a litho based ecosystem where oxygen is secreted by rock eating bacteria or other life. And seem to have a thermal output to sustain life from litho synthesis or by gravitational stress of some kind such as a large moon or moons. These worlds are popular for pirates and the Litho race.
The population is determined by the amount of power you can produce on such worlds or have a ZPM power plant to build an outpost to get a world started into a commerce world.
Credit Map
Credits will now have a M for millions of credits and B for billions of credits and T for trillions of credits and Q for quadrillions of credits and QN for quintillions of credits and S for sextillions of credits. Then Septillion is designated as SP and Octillion as credits followed by O. Nonillion will be N credits (4.90875N) for example designated. Then Finally Zillion’s of credits will be designated in credits followed by Z if your computers or programmers can handle this high number for doing business.
