Sabre's gun graphics still not fixed?

So I read that the new patch fixed graphics errors with gun and turret placement. I was psyched because, though a small detail, my first ship (the terran Sabre) had a really dumb graphical oversite and it made me want to put the game down. Now I am back and ready to play, only to find out that the same problem is still there.

Is this the only ship with this problem are have the fixed the rest by now?

Whats the bug with the Sabre? I know one of the Terran M3s (Scimitar or the cutlass not 100%) has a graphic glitch but the sabre i've never noticed.

Yeah the guns just don't show up in the right places. Specifically, the port-side guns are simply invisible. You can see the muzzel flashes but the guns themselves are missing. I take it from your response that this is pretty uncommon in TC now? Reunion never had this problem (at least, on the ships I owned). If it's just this ship and the M3 you mentioned, I can live with it. If it's common, then I think I'll wait for the next patch. I know it sounds anal but I'm picky like that.

a lot of ships are (were?) like that. Problem is that most of the gun placements werent viewable by the cockpit, so people dont complain en masse about them. I believe the elite for example is messed up similarly.

There were a few ships in reunion that had the same problem, but as above, never as seen from the cockpit.
*shrug* just fit the guns so that they work. if you need more guns.. well, i dont see a problem here ^^ get moar guns.

I thought the sabre only has forward guns, all of the firing from the A-10esque barrel sticking out from under the nose. I gives it a one-big-gun feel.

Now if you where to go into how everyone has the same turrets and how horrible they look on Boron ships...heh

That's pretty disappointing, I must say. Do none of the beta testers look at the external view of their ship? This is like a quick fix that still hasn't happened.

Well it's pretty easy to verify. Just start a new game as the Terran pilot, move the guns around on your sabre and fire them off. You will see that the port-side guns aren't showing up.

I've had this same problem as well, to let you all know. I just stopped playing X3 Albion until the patch came out, which as of the time of this note, is today. So after about a month or two of not playing, I'm back, and hoping to get some better frame rate as well.
