Is there a compiled list of the requirements for reverse enginneering each ship at the PHQ for TC anywhere? I found this excellent spreadsheet, but it appears to be for X3:R:

Is there an updated one for TC or are the requirements the same?

Cool. Well, am almost finishing the HUB plot now so will be able to confirm the numbers first hand in the not too distant future. Just wanted a guide for the required industy setup I will need for smooth running of the HQ, so I can get it all setup in advance.
Looking at those figures, it does strike me a a bit strange how large the HUB requirements are. I can imagine many people setting up massive complexes to feed the hub, thinking that the idea is to force the player into setting up the complexes you need for the HQ, only to find out they need a fraction of their output to actually run the thing.

wow, so after you have the pleasure of dumping about 300,000,000 credits into the hub quest you can have pleasure of building your own ships!
oh btw, you need one of those ships anyway, wait a eternity for it to RE then have to spend only a few credits less to make one then it would have cost you to buy then wait another eternity for 1 to be built.
roughly out of curiosity i did a bit of tallying-
all numbers subject to my maths at midnight so i wouldnt be surprised if theres a 0 in the wrong place.
example- Argon Titan
(all prices at around average for purchase, if you make your own resources you will have to factor against the cost of the complex)
credits- 29736115
energy- 1411200
teladianium- 503680
cloth rimes- 314700
rastar oil- 1049500
ore- 503760
silicone- 1416600
crystals- 1783300
quantum tubes- 3409250
micro chips- 27287000
computer comps- 1363700
all together thats 68,778,805, so buying the resources on average is a tad more expensive then buying a new ship.
not to mention the 120 hours it would take to make 1.
even presuming you had a self-sufficient complex that would manufacture every resource required. (which would set you back about 80,000,000 at a guess) it would take forever to make enough ships to earn back the cost of the hub quest, the complexes required and complete closed loop needed to support ship building.
thats ignoring the fact that even building the ship yourself you have to pay about a third of the ships cost up front so it is never free.
utter waste of time.

You're missing the point, I think. The PHQ allows you to reverse engineer and reproduce ships you can't ordinarily buy, such as the Vidar or the True Light Seeker, for example. If that doesn't really interest you, that's fine, but for a lot of players, it's a cool feature.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

Yup. Imagine, a fleet of Vidars, or Hyperion Vanguards.
To be honest, I think most players who go for the HQ (like myself, for example) will have an industry setup that provides everything they need for producing and fitting their ships. I havent even got the HQ yet, and I am producing nearly everything it will need. I can't remember the last time I actually bought anything other than a ship or a station from the NPC market.
It's also the only way you can get a multiple Kha'ak and Xenon ships in your fleet without having to wait an eternity for one to bail, or mess about with marines and boarding pods. Get one to bail (or capture it,) reverse engineer it, and you have have as many as you like. All we need now is a way of reverse engineering Kyon emitters...
