[X3:TC 2.0 Q] Aldrin mission start requirements?

Hi ppl,

I meet the requirements from the test thread but the Aldrin missions aint kicking in... are there any additional requirements such as minimum combat rank?

You must have completed the Terran Plot, Goner Plot, Kha'ak Plot and unlocked at least one HUB gate set. After that wait a while and you will receive a message.

@ Euclid: Thanks for the confirmation, I new that much from the Beta testing, but thanks anyway :D

@ Carlo: There was a delay in the mission triggering so that was probably the 674 time units you discovered.

To anyone with similar concerns: Patience, the message will come ;)

But you need to go at least to the NIVIDIUM at the Hub Plot !

Yes... you need the first set of gates to be FULLY repaired, so that they can be re-aligned by the player any number of times.

Currently, I am 350k+ crystals into the 750k crystal requirement for the second gate... not much longer now :D

so many plots ?

all those plots how do u get them just simply folow the story line those terrans give u ?

I've had those missions done for a while now and still nothing. Do you have to go somewhere to get the start for the hub or HQ or does it come to you in a message? Will the scorpy map script screw it up? Thats the only script I've downloaded.

Your question is a little off-topic (my assessment from being the OP) and I think counts as necro-posting (please think before resurrecting old threads), but to answer your question about the Hub/HQ chain... :wink:

You need to have high Boron rank (King's Protectorate I think - try checking the FAQs to confirm) and be in a Boron sector. An Enhanced Boron Dolphin should spawn near one of the jump gates and ask you for help if you approach the gate he is near.

Assuming that the Kha'ak/Argon and Goner plots are completed, once you have fixed the first set of gates on the Hub so you can change their connection at will you will need to be in an Argon sector to get the message that starts the Aldrin mission chain.
