Turret fire mod request

I was a bit bored not too long ago so I watched the pilot movie for Battlestar Galactica again. The third time I actually saw the Galactica fire in anger it was, well, to be honest ... boring. It was like watching constant rain.

Now in X3 you have two (or more) cap ships closing on each other and as soon as there in range of each other ... the rain starts.

My question is: Is it possible to change the way cap ships fire (M6 up to M0) to maybe ... Burst fire?? Maybe 5 or 6 bolts in quick succession followed by a brief pause then another burst etc OR if say there are 4 turrets on the port side have one turret burst fire and during its pause sequence the next turret burst fires and so on.

And my next question would be: Is someone pretty please able to do this??

Thanks bluedragon but no. I'm lookin for something that changes cap ships permanently, not just for missiles and fighters

I haven't looked at his script but maybe it won't take much to change it so it works on anything and not just missiles and fighters? Might be worth asking in his thread :) One version for point defence another for all targets maybe.
