Never more than 98.8 percent sure about anything.
98.8 percent sure that anyone who is 100 percent certain needs re-educating for the sake of humanity.

Yeah, I thought "X News email. Hm, something new? Oh, just an XTM feature and some other not very interesting stuff" and then that last paragraph! Bam! A classic sucker punch.
Looking forward to lots and lots of "Isitoutyetisitoutyet?" posts. But not from me, I hasten to add.
I have to admit that the new patch for X3 gives me no enthusiasm at all.
BalaGi didnt keep me occupied for long and then I went back to modding and bashing my head against the script editor.
The only way that I will get enthused about a new patch is if the devs come out and say they are actually going to fix the auto-pilot once and for all, and that the patch will bring significant fleet handling advances.
Until its safe to have many ships insector without losing any of them to collisions, and having a fleet easily organised so it can fight in propper units with easy orders, I dont see the point in advancing the story or introducing more features. I dont see the point in large fleets, when controlling them is haphazard at best, and half of them die colliding with the target and the other half fail to fire a shot.
If the auto-pilot needs a rewrite from scratch to get it fixed (which is what was said), then I would rather the devs spent their time on that, than in introducing something else.
