HUD/GUI mod (updated for v2)

A few months ago, I fiddled with the GUI colors/styles, as I thought the Ego version was sorta blah. Anyway, I did have a version available, but Bala Gi added a new icon for the HQ, so I decided to update it. I also changed the color of the "highlight" bar to something a little darker, as it was mentioned before that it was hard to distinguish which line you had selected.


It's more or a GUI mod than HUD, as I only changed a few things on the HUD (re-drew all sector icons, made them a little sharper). I also dressed up the HQ sector icon, as it looked out of place in the map with the others.

Sector map, shows difference, and highlighted boron equipment dock in list. You can kind of see the difference on the HQ icon. I just made it a little more defined. I split the screens down the center of the HQ icon.

GUI


You can either extract it into the mods folder and use it like that, or extract it into the main X3 folder, and rename it the next highest cat/dat pair (ie, 10.cat/10.dat, whichever is the next in the sequence with the pairs already in the folder) and use it as a false patch.


Comments welcome. I may make the highlight bar a little darker still. That, and/or make the un-selected bar a little lighter.
