Menus overlapping each other?

Post by Rakeris »

Well I was just navigating the menus transferring freight I believe. But when I hit ESC to get out of the menu it didn't go away, so I get ESC again, and another menu comes up, but it goes over top of the one already there. When I was looking though the sector map getting ready to jump some sector names and other such info started appearing down on the bottom of the screen where the menu was still stuck there. It was quite odd to say the least. It happened in Cardinal's Domain as I was transferring freight to my Nemesis, if that matters.

Also, not just the main menu bar overlaps, it seems most all the menus will, weather it is the sector map or ships info tabs. I'm not sure overlap is the best word either, some like the sector map seems to make doubles of themselves, but they are off to the side a bit and much lighter and easy to see though.

I thought maybe it was just an odd bug of some sort, so I decided to save and reload, after I reloaded it was still there! It was a bit different looking but all the other menus still continued to go overtop of it. Quite odd.

Just thought I'd report it.

Try this, it may fix the problem.

Stop your ship in space and press the Esc key on the keyboard, this should open another menu, next use the mouse and click on the control icon one or two times.

Does this remove all the menus?
When there are no more games it is time for music.
