Next update for X³: Reunion delayed

I'm sorry to advise (better than us keeping quiet) that latest update for X3 scheduled for release mid to late November has been unavoidably delayed.

There are several aspects to the patch that are just not as complete as we would like at this time, so rather than release something which could create new problems, we have decided to delay and realise a better version at a later date.

More exact information on the ETA and the content / fix list will follow prior to release.

I'd much rather have a decent patch than a dodgy one.

any chance of telling us what is in the patch and i only mean broadly ie mobile mining etc as it would save us keep moaning about things that egosoft are allready working on .

I appreciate the fact that there is an official word out on this!
If this information was posted in "mid-november" I bet that a lot of the complaining would be silenced.
And I could be totally wrong ofcourse! :)

Can we expect more information as time goes by ?
How things are going?
New problems that have occured an so forth.
Not that it would make a lick of difference on the bugs in the game, but just something to let us (well me anyway) know that you are all still there, working on the patch. And not accidentally been sucked into a freak black hole... or whatever!

Fine by me. I do prefer being told what is happening rather than wondering, so many thanks for that. Now I know its definately coming I will carry on trading humberly until the great day arrives. But I would have been suprised had it come out in November as it appears to me to be a huge amount of work to do.

Good to have something official.

And I hope anyone reading this thread, who is about to start whining, asks themselves whether they moaned about the game being released early in the first place. That's probably a bit too much to hope for actually... ;)

Sweet! I quite do prefer a good patch over a incomplete patch, and the more complete the patch is, the more complete X3 will be!
