Actually, opening some of those milk cartons can be really difficult ...

Mmm... might wait for reviews or a sale on this one. Looks right up my street, but I was burned by Elite.

Made me think of these kinds of commercials : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eMCURWpNAg :)

Then, there's this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNvuXF8J0A4

I've heard of mining and exploring using TNT in Minecraft, just haven't heard of any practical resource-gathering in a game that uses hand-grenades. I wonder if that's going to be a marketing thing for No Man's Sky?

"See a vast procedural generated universe! Explore amazing planets! Combat ruthless enemies! Be the first to the center of the galaxy! Collect alien hamster hides by the judicious use of hand-grenades!" (Well, they could be Space Hamsters, I guess.)

I honestly don't know what to make of No Mans Sky, there is a lot of fog surrounding this title it may well be brilliant but its definitely a wait and see title if there ever was one.

I still haven't played GTA V, Phantom Pain and most of Witcher 3 yet from last year, they are sitting on the shelf waiting for their time.

"There won’t be any quests or missions to go on. It’ll be up to you to decide what you want to do. The hope is that your natural curiosity and the richness of the worlds presented will be enough to keep you interested - this is a game about exploration"

"The planets within the universe will have a 10% chance of having life on them, with 90% of them having no life on at all. Of the 10% that does have life, 90% of that will be primitive and boring. So the lush garden worlds with more evolved life forms on will be rare"

*Thanks X2-Illuminatus for the list of features.

Those two are what define the game, exploring to gather resources to upgrade your ship and suit, so you can travel further, till you find one of those worlds with evolved life forms and have an unique experience.

Trading, Fighting, Factions will just be window dressing, and expect them to have a very simple form.

I like the idea of exploring for the sake of exploring and discover new and unique things. And that is what this game is going to be good about. Rest of features are going to fall flat of expectations.

ROFL!

Supposedly, they have a profanity filter. BUT, so does, for instance, Star Wars Battlefield: E.A. and I see a heck of a lot of inventive "internetspeak" profanity names being used by players.

They'll have to forbid the use of non-standard characters and they'll have to have some sort of grammar and spellchecker, as well.

Profanity filters. Pffff. Spoilsports.

I've had LubedFelch as my name on many MMOs, always seems to get through, and I enjoy the comments from people that know it.

I really hope there isn't a profanity filter.

Haha, in our modern political correct world? Good Joke! In a world where you have to think three to four times about what to say/write, to really make sure you do not insult someone who might be hear/reading whatever you want to say/write?

Oh my ...
... what is a drop of rain, compared to the storm? ... what is a thought, compared to the mind? ... our unity is full of wonder which your tiny individualism cannot even conceive ... I've heard it all before ... you're saying nothing new ... I thought I saw a rainbow ... but I guess it wasn't true ... you cannot make me listen ... I cannot make you hear ... you find your way to heaven ... I'll meet you when you're there ...
