Hey Cmdrs! How do we delete our saved games?

My goodness EU IV! Why do you suppose the devs complicated this delete save method? Other games have a simple "delete" option in their load game menu

It is only that complicated if you have Steam cloud backup enabled. If not (and why would you have it on when getting rid of your saves and restarting?) then you can just delete all or some of the saves in your save folder whenever you want.
Old saves are overwritten when you save new ones in that number slot or via Auto or Quick save so I rarely if ever feel the need to delete any, even when using mods (or not).
I do have to say that the ability to rename slot saves to something useful and still have the game load them would be quite handy though.
