I check back about once a month myself. It's a little odd seeing what a ghost town it has become around here. But, that's pretty normal for game forums between release cycles. Egosoft has been a fairly quiet developer for as long as I've been buying their games. I
saw a post from an indie game developer on /. the other day. The guy basically said that's how he would do it (silence), if he knew what he does now.

I've been playing other games, funding up on a kickstarter or two. Roberts' game looks like it will be interesting. However, I'm not real sure how a space game is going to
feel in an FPS engine. High-end graphics aside, space games need large world space support or you start to run into issues with floating point imprecision and other run-time oddities. I've seen space games built on non-space engines before. And, they always felt cramped, or things clearly didn't scale as you'd expect.[/i]
