X3AP War missions?

Sorry for this noob question. But I've got a problem with the so-called war missions. I know the survival guide mentions them and there is a pilot stastic entry as well.

But I never seem to get any! I am lurking around in all the conflict sectors like Omycron Lyrae, Heretics End, etc. And after killing all terran invaders nothing happens. Stations seldom show any missions at all in this sectors and if they do they are just the regular missions you'll get from sectors outside the conflict zone. My Argon rank is Hero.

So what's going on? How do you get them do they have a special icon?

They are suspected to be rare and possibly broken in both code implementation and in mission count stats. If not, someone will surely come here and say so. Meanwhile, have a read of this thread.

They have normal icons, the bulb-the green built icon etc. they called war because they are taking place in war sectors.
the missions appear (not often, its true) and in my game they count normally. I believe when you get those "war messages" there's a possibility a war mission will appear in one of your allied war sectors. don't tie this up tho. it maybe be just random

There is nothing really special about them, but you can get 10 mission count if you spend enough time in the war zone sectors. Some of them could be personnel transport,taxi, or ship delivery, no need to ruin your reputation with anybody.
