Finding Bala Hi in Aldrin
I got a request to dock in Queen's retribution, and was given the mission to look for Bala Hi in Aldrin. The sector is so big, where do I begin looking for him?

Finding the Boron Scientist
ltds, start by making sure your Mission guidance is on. That will point you in the right direction. Go in your fastest ship. If you don't have a Kestral yet, now would be a good time (speed 605).
If you haven't mapped Aldrin yet, bring as many Sats as you can carry and eject one when you go past something good.
Carry at least 10 Energy, so you can jump back close to the jump beacon when you need to. Save before you do it, because you can end up quite a distance away, and the next reload might bring you a lot closer.
Sometimes you can ignore or substitute instructions. You would do better to follow them exactly on this one. When you finally get to Ketraar, don't undock while waiting. It might take a looong time to dock again. Just wait.
I hope this helps.

I was having the same issue, and I've done this mission before! Anyway, after finding a list of Aldrin stations, I found the next part of the plot here:
You'll need to map Aldrin to find every station if the above spoiler doesn't help you. I'd suggest mapping at least 300km in every direction from the "middle most" Energy Production base.
That may take a while, even with a Kestrel. Mostly because of the lag in Aldrin, but also due to the fact that the giant rock messes with your autopilot.
You can get a mod to make the rock smaller, and you can get the 'Bounce' mod for a better autopilot (though I'm not sure if it helps with asteroids, I think it just makes your ships less likely to hit other ships)... but I find it still takes a LONG time to map Aldrin in a radius that large. Lag ftl.
You could jump out of sector in another ship after setting the Kestrel to explore... that would speed it up. Just jump back when it's done mapping.
When you do eventually come across the correct station, you will know it. It will have a blue 'book' icon next to it.
Good luck!

However, it is random where the next part of the plot is (I think), so that may not be the same for you. Can't hurt to try though.
It's an asteroid with a large hole through one side of it. Here's a pic.
(CLICK).
The next part of the plot took me to another station that looked very similar, but called "Unknown Aldrin Base."
Incidentally, there is *no guidance* for this part of the mission once you're in Aldrin... as it defeats the purpose of 'search.' Remember, you were told to 'search' in Aldrin. That's all the guidance you get for finding Bola Hi... until you see a station with a blue 'book' icon.

Code Breaking
I read some of the posts on the Code breaking, but how do you start entering the code? I got within com range and tried to com it, but nothing happened. I've gone through all my menus trying to find something that would help, but I didn't find anything that would allow me to send the code.
