I can't uninstall this. Changing all AL Plugins to "No" seemingly has no effect, as invasions keep happening. I was trying to replace this with Improved Races (because I'm insane), but this is still running and causes a crash if the scripts are removed.

There are several scripts. If the AL script has called the invasion script, setting the plugin to NO won't help I think. You need to kill the invasion script process, then it will work for sure. You'll find it under running scripts and press Del to kill.

It's my first day running tc with scripts and im really new to this aspect....so, i've noticed that i have to "enable" these race invasions, and my only question is...how? :?
:lol: im completly newbee here and thx for any help!!!!


So...no one could help me? :(

go to game settings... artificial settings (bottom one) and enable...

q about destroyed stations...

Hi all...
I noticed that after invasion (using AL Plugin: Race Invasions) some races take over sector...and they destroy many stations in that sector.... so my q : will those stations re-spawn?

Stations always respawn somehow via the GoD engine. It watches over the universe in an attempt to keep the economy balanced. It may be fast or slow and it very likely will not replace the stations with the same stations, but something the economy needs will be put back.

Looking through ALL the combat scripts, this is the one I've been looking for. I've always wanted to be a defender of the universe, and now I can. But only the Argon and Boron, I don't like the Split or the Paranid.

hey, so how exactly does this script work?

Do i just go to the AI menu and turn for instance Argon invasion to 'Yes' and then wait for one to happen. Or is it possible to control where the invasions occur?

Also is the race patrol script gd with this??

No, that's it. The whole point is that it happens without the player having to do anything. If you want to set the interval, you can edit the script. Making it happen on demand would be a lot more work, but I bet you can figure out how to set the interval if you take a look.

ok, im guessing i just need some patience to get a msg saying their is an invasion.

Will also take a look at the script but could take me awhile to figure it out how to demand/force an invasion!

I know there are tutorials for configuring hotkeys. If you're able to pick apart the script so that you can figure out what commands will start an invasion, I'm sure you can set up your own hotkey to trigger the same script. Heck, maybe I'll take a look at it later for practice.

Sadly, this script doesn't work for me, enabled it since i started a new game with Terran, finished campaign, during that time, not a single invasion...

It's a good concept but doesn't work. ver3.1 of the game

I dont know if it was because of this mod, because I installed several mods/scripts at the same time, but M5 ships did not fight at all. They were like zombies, and they ruined all invasion missions (e.g. usual xenon defense missions at Black Hole Sun) by not coming through the jumpgate. They were just floating in the Xenon sector, and if I went after them in that sector I immediately lost the mission...

Now I disbled the mod, and installed the Frontier Wars, and so far the NPCs seem to work well, that's why I suspect that this mod was the cause (propably got messed up with other installed, non compatible mods)
