[REQ] New Patrol Sector Script
In X3R there was a command, I think patrol single sector or something, I forgot the name of it but this command would let you choose several points within ONE sector and the ships would then travel along the defined points. This script was great in my opinion, why isn't it in x3TC? The reason I like this is because, the sector patrol command has my ships traveling all over the sector which is not necessary. For example, my base is in Bala Gi and there are 2 warpgates near each other, I just want ships to patrol between these 2 gates, very easy and efficient, but instead, I can't. I either have to have them patrol multiple sectors or have them circle around the sector I am in which is not efficient.
Can anyone do this?

Wow, that looks great. One thing Lucike, can you make it so you can add multiple ships to the patrol and have them all automatically renamed? Also, can you make some sort of Renaming script since it seems you already have the feature in your other scripts. I would love it if I could rename all my ships easily.

Not to be too nitpicky, but it's "wages" without the apostrophe 
The scripts you were thinking of were the patrol.bas* scripts. This looks like it's going to surpass even that though! I, too dislike the current patrol command. Also had a patrol going, and they ignored the Xenons that were in the sector, instead choosing to "Patrol...moving to position", lol. Can't wait for this to be finished.

This is a great script, thanks a lot. Do the ships on patrol lose their names if they are taken off patrol? I would like it if they didn't lose their names this way I could rename ships and when i take them off patrol they don't lose their names so I remember where they were and I can use it to change names easily and such.

The ship must have Patrol Software, Fight MK1/MK2 and Nav MK1. Ship class must be a fighter, big ship or huge ship.
