Custom soundtrack

Hi can anyone tell me how to change the soundtrack in x3 please?

Check the mp3 files in the sound folder. Rename the one you want to change (as backup), copy your mp3 file into this folder and name it as the original.

.....or, if you want to pick which track plays in each sector you need to use doubleshadow's X3 editor.

First, place and name/number the tracks use want to use in the X3 soundtracks folder.
Open up the X3 editor, then the galaxy editor.
On the sector info page, there is a line which says 'Sector - music' which is followed by a number which relates to the soundtracks folder.
Change this number to the track you want to hear in that sector.
Save it, and off you go.
