If you look on the Creative forum thread list you will see this thread has been viewed just over 500,000 times. It's even managed to creep up to 8th place on the top-ten most-viewed list on the Statistics page!
How it has done that when there have been no significant updates for over a month I am not sure. Do all Sluggy's fans keep coming back to pay their respects and leave flowers?

I would say that NS' stories have such legendary status that every newbie to X3 will stumble upon them sooner or later. Heck, I come back over and over to read them and get some new inspiration for my games. And thanks to no easily downloadable pdf of "Wanton Use...", this is the only place to read the story.softweir wrote:How it has done that when there have been no significant updates for over a month I am not sure. Hey, that's a good way of keeping the numbers up --> no-one post the pdf!!!
It just crept into the top 10 as the story ended. And has since gained a place or two and is holding on there.
It still gets recommended to newbies (and not just by me ) as a very interesting and informative read.
But, I have to agree:
Tim

Thanks, I'd seen that stats reference made before by a few people but hadn't ever seen the page itself.softweir wrote:It's even managed to creep up to 8th place on the top-ten most-viewed list on the Statistics page!
