Has anyone done a Challenging Sandbox start fresh with the Unofficial Patch lately?

I did Lost Terracorp Pilot and found the HQ eventually, but claiming it would instantly crash my game to the main menu.

Tried again with all the mods but Unofficial Patch and Old Starts disabled, the game reinstalled, and a different CS start (Boron), no change.

Tried just now with just the Unofficial Patch and the Nividium Miner, no change.

Another person on Reddit is reporting it's happening to them too, they posted on 11/25th, so likely 1.3.12.

Edit: Just did it with a Nividium Miner, vanilla, and it worked. Activated the mod, loaded the save right before hitting claim, and it crashed to main menu.


Edit: And I just did a full uninstall of the plugin manager, and installed the Unofficial Patch manually using the ZIP file instead... and it works. No crash when grabbing the HQ with the same save that worked in vanilla.

So, next up: Figuring THAT out.

Edit2:

Full uninstall of the game. Full uninstall of the plugin manager. Deleted the addons2 folder. Installed the game. Installed the plugin manager. Works with just the built in script libraries installed.

Installed a freshly downloaded Unofficial Patch SPK via the Install Packages button (instead of drag and drop). Works.

Installed a freshly downloaded Old Plots SPK via the Install Packages button. Crashes.

Uninstalled Old Plots. Crashes.

Uninstalled Unofficial Patch and reinstalled. Works. So Old Gods modifies a file that the Unofficial Patch uses and breaks it, and the plugin manager doesn't catch that.

Checking the files between Unofficial Patch and Old Plots next. I'm guessing Old Plots replaces one of the Unofficial Patch files and breaks something? Moving back to the Old Plots thread since it seems to be that, not the patch?

  • Fixed requirements display in deliver ship missions
  • Fixed requirements display in build station missions
  • Added production modifiers to sector
  • Added sector race override (display only)
  • Additional Script Commands added

Was anything changed that would cause the Boron to attack my advanced satnavs in void sectors?

Edit. It is not just void sectors Boron police are attacking my advanced satnavs all over the place. No other race is atm and I have satnavs in all sectors and race relation nonsense turned off. I parked my ship in a sector that just lost a satnav and the police are ignoring my ship.

When I went from V1.3.10 to V1.3.13, all of my saves show ? as the version and give me a warning on a corrupt save. When I revert back to *.10, everything is fine again. This is with plugin manager 1.87. I did verify the game files and reinstall this mod (the only one I have), and that didn't fix it. Only going back to the previous version allows my saves to be used.

Yes, I noticed that this function affected the cargo compartment of the xenon unit. But I need Spacelab, it still has 1,500,000 volumes left.

For the HQ it should be the "storage" value from HQ file instead one from globals which needs to be changed. You'll find this file also into the types directory

Where can you find them?
Or did they change them in the Farnham Legacy version?
I need my ship to be refilled with batteries automatically when there are less than a certain number of them. As far as I remember, the Mk1-2 supply module could do this.

You can find the goods logistics software MK1 and MK2 in most shipyards of the individual races (e.g. Argonen Herzenslicht, Omnikron Alpha, Wolkenbasis SO etc.) but you should also install Lucike's scripts with the business dealer & goods logistics software, I installed them and they work perfectly at X3 FL

Are there no built-in functions in FL? So that the truck supplies my ship with batteries when it has less than 300 of them and replenishes them up to 1000.
I just don’t want to put a “modification” on the game

This command makes the truck fly without stopping. Even when the batteries are full. I didn't find any additional changes in it. The "wait" command causes the ship to stand still for just 5 seconds

I installed v1.3.13 and the old plots v1.03, started a new game, and found that I needed to fiddle with my controls because the old profile doesn't seem to quite be compatible with the unofficial patch, but no matter what, I could not assign a key to "Activate Turbo Booster"; only the toggle can be assigned to.

Same here, didn't have this issue till updated from 1.3.12 to 1.3.13... :gruebel:
