That's the whole problem we are having tho... We haven't got enuff crew.. - for an M2 (unless it suddenly changed) you need 90 crew to man it completly...
As you see by what's happening (in the msgs above) we are losing crew below the number needed...
This is what is confusing me, if I need 90 crew for my Titan, why then do I lose 15 crew (from 67 down to 52) just by jumping across the universe?? (oh and I lost 4 more before I called it a night, I now down to 48 )

I managed to buy the AEGIS last night as well, and set my remaining 48 crew to capture mode, all turrets came online, and then proceeded to clobber the heck out of about 20 pirate ships not giving any of them a chance to surrender, after which I did 3 ass. missions still in capture mode wiping all the escorts off the face of the map without giving them a chance to surrender....

Hokay, since there are those on here that are experts in Gun loadouts, here is what I have settled on for my Titan...

Could I please have opinions as for Killing and Capture abilities with AEGIS installed and activated...

ION = 9
BPPC = 15
GPPC = 5 (was going to have 9 but I running out of cargo space so it only got 5 atm)
GHEPT = 15
APSG = 9
AIRE = 3
GIRE = 12

Any opinions greatfully recieved.. :) :)

Well, I am still awaiting a response concerning the gunnery crew disappearing. I am currently following a TP with 100 GC listed but am holding off playing until some light is shed on this concern. If the FAQ is listing a certain number that is needed, and that number is dwindling below the required, but it is still listing as fully manned, then something is not right I would think. I'm sure the answer will be forthcoming as soon as everyone filters back from the holiday break :P .

there's a fix in another thread - basically the numbers were slightly scrambled in the last update

odds are most of those 100 crew will disappear before you can nab them anyway

Anyway, I was going to say:

Thank you very much for this, I spent all weekend watching my crew numbers disappearing all the time...

I suppose it's too much to expect that I will get my 100 crew back tho :D :D

Because my crew is now only at 48, if I apply this patch does this mean I will suddenly have slots not filled anymore?? - If this is what's going to happen, I better take my Titan back to home of light before I apply the bugfix...

yes unfortunately we accidentally ate your crew.
It was our mistake, and we humbly beg forgiveness.
Perhaps you can think of it as a mini-strike?
There really isn't any easy way to give you guys your crew back, you'll have to repurchase them :(

You know guys, I think we going to have to keep an eye out for this new mysterious race, lead by the now infamous named one called Burianek, that has been stealing our crews...
Last seen, hi-tailing it as fast as his M4 could carry him, towards the eastern-most Unknown sector of the universe..

Hehehe, ya know, even though that Amendment is intended to prevent self-incrimination and whatnot, it's funny how people who typically make use of it, are guilty as sin. :twisted:

I swear some of my missing gunnery crew have run off with some of my meatsteaks. Thieving b&!*$%!s.! ;)

I had 96 crew and now have 87 - I have not activated the script editor and so this is as installed.

I deleted all the plugin.guncrews.*.xml files in my scripts folder and re-ran the all-in-one installer v1.01.00 dated 27/12/2004 time stamp 16:43 and this is what was installed.

this will be fixed shortly.
The complete hotfix didn't make it into the all in one installer.
Third time's the charm right?
We are taking steps to ensure that this does not happen again.
All I can do is apologize.
When X-Online comes out, you all have free license to attack all of my ships and assets with impunity.

*edit 15 mintues later* ok, this has been fixed. A new version of the all in one installer will be uploaded to the site most likely first thing tommorrow. It will be called version 1.01.01 and it will actually have the fix for these issues applied.

Looks like I was pretty lucky then last night when I finished the plot (for the very first time)
I had my Titan (with AEGIS and full crew), along with my 2 Ospreys (crew Only) follow me into Omicron Lyrae..
Set all 3 ships to the new Battle stations command and then ordered them to protect me..

All throughout the entire battle they did an amazing job of protecting me while I was flying around in my little Nova, I hardly got hit at all by the enemies, it seems they couldn't get through my ships that were protecting me.. (I even saw my Titan take out 2 of those big round Khaak things.., man what a sight to see my Titan open up with every gun it could, I was sure glad that I wasn't on the recieving end of it. :D :D

Anyway, a BIG :thumb_up: :thumb_up: to the Author for writing such an amazing script, and to the people that did all the testing etc to make it signed.. - Without that script I very much doubt I would have made it through that final level, as my fighting skills have never been the best..

Sorry - I was not sure if this was what I thought I was reading, but thought you might want to know.
Anyway :thumb_up: many thanks to all for the great scripts and hard work. Some of us actually appreciate it.

EDIT: Got the updated file - together with the "improved" station management and patrol - our board has not been updated to show this (yet) so I looked in on the German board....

(Was tempted to put a TM on the yet.... :D )
Oh - big :lol: for the patrol script change.
