i tried to do this mission while i had a vulture vanguard docked at riptide , The mission expects a 'fleet' to be delivered at riptide , the game detects 'a trader ship' at riptide and the mission continues what it's supposed to do , Poof i am driving the J.P morgan but my vulture is gone.
reloaded the game before i take the JP morgan , moved my vulture from riptide to HQ , then did the mission and all worked as intended . the mission needs to be changed that it will only accept the J.P. Morgan as the 'fleet' and not take any ship that's docked at riptide..

Re: 9.0 Scrapyard salvage Bug
Not sure it's a bug as such. Perhaps you replied to a message where Dagobas was accepting your ship. Having a freighter docked at Tidebreak may have triggered this:
from 5.1 changelog
from 5.1 changelog
Added option to choose which ship to transfer to Mr Dagobas Lahubasis Yorilos III in mission Scrapyard Salvage of Avarice story.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

Re: 9.0 Scrapyard salvage Bug
This is the problem i'm trying to describe because there is a Hauler docked at Tidebreak , the game asume it is the J.P Morgan ship , while i'm still bizzy flying away from where the ship got stolen the mission continues as if i already have the morgan docked at tidebreak.Nanook wrote: Thu, 6. The provided changelog : Why in 2 million years would you want to choose what ship you gonna give to your 'new' friend ???? , i 'd have to restart the game to check if this is true..
Like really , a new friend and you want to give away a ship that cost around 2 million to build and deck out and give it to someone you just met ???????? you can have a free fresh cup of coffee at a spacebar from me when you're a new friend..
let's translate i come visit egosoft HQ as a new friend and then you give me the option for 18 brand new ferrari's just because you met me, or the stripped plonker you stole from a scrapyard..
The changelog should read : We changed the mission so that Mr Dagobas Lahubasis Yorilos III in mission Scrapyard Salvage of Avarice story will only accept the J.P. Morgan ship..
@CBJ , sorry i'm new to this game and i did not know i had to secure the savegame , it got over written while continue playing the game. the mission is : mission Scrapyard Salvage of Avarice story , dock a hauler at tidebreak then do the mission to get same result.

More likely, it thinks you're exchanging the JP Morgan for the docked ship.Sixalot wrote: Sat, 8. When I've done this mission, Dagobas contacts you to choose which ship to give him. You can either ignore him or say no, and wait until you dock with the Morgan. At which point you should eventually get another message with options to choose which ship. If that sequence didn't play out for you, then it is a bug. Hope that clears things up a bit.The provided changelog : Why in 2 million years would you want to choose what ship you gonna give to your 'new' friend ????
