Version: 9.00 (611726), English
Mods or third-party scripts: None
Game start: Stranded
Recent changes to system or software: None.
System specifications, screenshots, and save file are available here.
The colored areas representing asteroid belts and gas clouds are not appearing on the map. This was not the case when I started the game; the highlights appeared normally. I first noticed the issue when entering Sanctuary of Darkness for the second or third time to map it with nav beacons. (Fortunately I've done that enough times to know exactly where to fly.) Please see Screenshot 7, which shows Sanctuary of Darkness in my current game, devoid of the highlighting that should be present for the safe path.
When I start a new game, the issue does not occur. Please see screenshots 1 through 6, which compare sectors in my current game and in a new game (creative start with satellites for sector view).
The problem also does not occur in my current game in newly-explored sectors; they show the correct highlighting, but at some point, the highlighting just disappears. Please see screenshot 9, which shows Mercury in my current game. I just entered the sector for the first time in this game, and the gas highlighting does appear.
The problem does not seem to be related to mining filters; it affects the basic belt-and-cloud color highlighting, which persists even with the mining filters turned off.
I also noted actual resource spawns do appear — just not the highlighting that shows general areas where resources can spawn. Please see screenshot 8, which shows Asteroid Belt, where the general resource highlighting is absent, but the map does show the map markings for currently-spawned ore.
The issue has persisted for at least 2-3 hours of gameplay, across multiple sessions and multiple real-time days.
Thank you for your time and attention! I hope you find this useful.

Another thing, if it's useful: In a session yesterday, I noticed the gas and rock highlighting was back! Unfortunately I did not grab a screenshot, and when I fired up X4 today, the highlights were gone.
Thanks again,
