Pirate Side Arms Fab - Cannot sell for profit

Tried this for the first time and noticed it.

At average price the Pirate Side Arms costs over 61,824 to produce one, but cannot be sold for more than 14k at max possible price. Was this intentional? I'm on vanilla version 1.3

Only curious. I'll be scrapping the factory at this point.
