On BETA 9.00, I am having sporadic trouble placing piers on new stations. When starting a new station by placing a single or triple pier that is clearly not obstructed, I am occasionally unable to do so. When I move the pier unit forward and backward through the editor, a red line appears in the middle, which I understand likely indicates an obstruction. But there is none there. In these instances, no matter how I turn or rotate the pier unit (even as the very first piece of the station), it will remain unplaceable. If I delete the pier unit and try to place it again, I get the same result. I've tried to place the pier unit and a 3m6s landing pad but they will not connect. I've tried to do the same using the shuffle tool without success (the pier module just disappears in this instance).
My game is not modified. I started wit Young Gun. No relevant changes.

Re: 9.00 BETA - Sporadic Trouble Placing Piers Despite No Obstructions
All the announcements and news articles about the Public Beta explain that you need to post reports about it in the Public Beta Feedback forum. I would move this there fore you, but you've not provided any of the information required in order for us to do anything with your report. This information is explained in the forum rules for that forum, which are also linked in the announcements and news articles. They also appear at the top of both that forum and this one, and again right in front of you when you hit the button to create a new post.
Not only that but I suspect that you are not using the latest version of the Public Beta, as the problem you're describing sounds a lot like one that was fixed a week or two ago.
