X2 Ore Belt Mission Question

Hi all

I have a question regarding the mission in Ore Belt, from what I can ascertain having run this mission multiple times now there seems to be 6 possible spawn points.

ASWE-22 x: -29.1km, y: 832m, z: 49.2km Ore 13
ASWE-65 x: -24.3km, y: -7.48km, z: 53.3km Ore 5
ASWE-26 x: -8.54km, y: 4.50km, z: 52.7km Ore 8
ASWE-62 x: 1.42km, y: -9.15km, z: 60.7km Silicon 8
ASWE-61 x: 13.2km, y: 1.87km, z: 79.9km Ore 25
ASWE-57 x: -9.96km, y: 2.69km, z: 79.4km Ore 25
Yet even knowing this if I start a run with these 6 locations the station doesn't show up yet after scanning additional asteroids I subsequently find the station at one of these spawn points that I have already checked.

So I'm wondering do you need to scan a certain number of asteroids before the station will spawn and if so anyone know how many it is? I tried working this out but I keep getting different figures.
